This business isn't located in a stand alone store, but in a building that is shared with other businesses. As we walked in, Kelly greeted us immediately. She handed each one of us a questionnaire to fill out before we started. After she looked over the questionnaire, she individually gave us recommendations of ways to help problem areas and try to find out where she should concentrate more during the actual massage. The cost was well worth it (hot towel and massage after the foot treatment and color application)! Everything was very clean inside the salon. They used brand new items (opened in front of me), changed gloves multiple times and had clean tools. Ling Ling, my manicurist, was very nice and did a great job! The massage chairs and music were also nice and chill. I enjoyed my hour of me-time! Will definitely be back and possibly try some other services.

Their office is located in a multi story building in Hoffman Estates by the I-90 expressway. Their office seems newer with concrete floors/white walls being minimal and modern. It was easy to get an appt and I didn't have to wait too long as a first time patient. My first visit was a general visit to check for concerning blemishes and discuss some long-standing skin concerns. I was prescribed three different creams for three different areas as well as recommended an over the counter shampoo. I tried products as recommended and didn't see results. I recently reached out (3 months later) to follow up that items weren't working and was told I'd have to come back in because I didn't follow up. It was news to me as I was never told to follow up on my terms; I expect my doctor to reach out to me. Either way, I scheduled another appt which was another copay. I was recommended two new creams as well as a pill prescription. It's been a week and no pharmacy has reached out to me saying I have a prescription to fill and the pill left me with side effects within days so I stopped taking. I followed up with the office, they asked if I could come back in which would be ANOTHER copay. I sadly am deciding to cut my loses with working with their practice. I refuse to pay another copay three business days after visiting because they didn't ask the right questions when I was last in. I felt the PA I had was kind but other staff was not and only talked in medical terms which left me confused and hard to follow conversation/questions. My PA seemed like he did care but I am left feeling like they want my money more than finding a solution to help me.

I recently switched to a different dermatology practice not because of Dr. Beaird herself but because of how her office and practice is run. Her administrative staff do not return messages, they do not follow up with necessary insurance preapprovals, they cancel appointments regularly and then make you reschedule through text messaging or AI, they are unfriendly and they fail to process basic medical records requests. I've never encountered a medical practice that was so poorly managed.

I went to their website and it was really easy to navigate and set up an appointment. They have everything from makeup to natural hair care to sew-ins etc. My appt was for 10:30a and once I arrived I was seated right away! Latayvia is so sweet and her co-partner Yiasa was very friendly as well. I felt very welcome. My appointment was with Latayvia and she got my hair RIGHT! The wash was great and she was able to shape it to where my hair can grow back evenly. The salon is very clean, chic, and cozy and in s great (safe) location. Overall I had a great experience, and communication was wonderful with them. Would definitely go back again!
