I've had 2 appointments now here for 2 different things. The staff is the best. Friendly, kind, laid back, and not pushy. I read the reviews on here before I decided to book my very first appointment. The dr is nice as well. I received a microdermabrasion skin treatment FREE after my dysport injections. Good deal. I needed a new place to go get my bits waxed and I found someone with a ton of experience. Very clean and friendly atmosphere, and I thought to myself *JACKPOT!* but there were a few issues. The only problems I had were it took WAY too long and not all the hair was removed. I was hoping someone with more experience would be able to get all of that but I ended up taking care of the rest myself, which I have never had to do before. I just got my eyebrows and lip threaded here for the first time and Sue did an amazing job. She obviously knew what she was doing, and it hurt way less than anywhere else I've been to. I found Dr Susarla after a year of searching for a Doctor after a bad botox experience, and have been seeing her for over six years. I did my research, which included consultations with some of the top Doctors in the Chicago and Saint Charles area, and in end, I found a true artist and visionary whose work is truly tailored to the individual patient. As women, we want a Doctor that knows our faces -appreciates, and understands the aesthetic of each woman's individual beauty and I found that in Dr Susarla. I started with botox, then fillers, and now have graduated to PDO. Dr Susarla has taken ten years off my face-and this is NOT an exaggeration! Recently, I had another brow and lower jaw PDO lift, and the results are as stunning- as if I had actually had well done plastic surgery but with no down time or extreme pain! When I tell people my age, and what I have had done, they do not believe me. In fact, I look better now than I did in my 30's! Filler is a must for women in their forties, Dr. Susarla's innovative technique is just one puncture, not multiple injections, and with this technique, she literally paints the filler with little to no discomfort, leaving the patient with a much softer look. The last thing we want is to feel rushed or not listened to, especially if one is new to injections or PDO and has some apprehensive. In all the years I have been seeing Dr. Susarla, at every single appointment, she takes whatever time is needed to listen and ensure that the effect I want, is what I get. Recently, a told a work colleague that I had my lips done- I could tell she recently had filler in her lips. I noticed immediately that there was no shape to her lips and they were overdone and I wanted to share my experience with Dr Susarla - my colleague was blown away that my lips were not natural-in fact, I have very thin lips and she could not stop asking questions-she went to an overpriced plastic surgeon in the city and now regrets it. Many of her patients travel from other states or the city, and I can say with conviction, if I moved outside of Saint Charles or IL, I too would travel to see her. I got lucky, and my hope is that women reading this review, book a consolation- you will be blown away. I've had wonderful facials w/dermabrasion with Gosia, she's wonderful, the ladies in the office are very nice and friendly; (if not for these ladies I would've given it 1 star) On the other hand, I had botox with Dr Susarla and that didn't go well. I like Dr. Susurla fine, but she's not good at Botox, more of a hit or miss... I saw her for the first time in Aug of '16 for the brow "lift" and forehead (usually on the specials), about a wk 1/2 later everything was drooping-- literally! I called her and then saw her, she said she didn't know what happened but that I needed to wait for an additional 2 wks and that it would work itself out as she had the same thing happen to her and 2 wks later she was fine...didn't happen and she asked that I come come back for a redo in Dec. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and went back early Jan '17 and had the redo done, this time she went a bit higher... same results only not as bad since she didn't use any on my eyebrow area; mind you. I've been getting botox for years and never have I had any issues. This is most certainly operator issue. Spoke to her again and told her how utterly upset I was and she asked what did I want her to do and that the Botox she had just given me was a freebie...not! It was a redo there was no freebie to be had and I didn't pay for this mess the first time around, no one does- money down the drain. I'm going back to the doc I used before (Dermatique in Geneva, IL, further from me than OM, but always a sure thing. Went to Dermatique and Dr. Lesnik was able to fix the problem. read more
