It was kind of hard to locate this place because there was no signage to point us in the right direction. But we soon found it (after driving around like idiots for 15 mins). This business isn't located in a stand alone store, but in a building that is shared with other businesses. As we walked in, Kelly greeted us immediately. She handed each one of us a questionnaire to fill out before we started. After she looked over the questionnaire, she individually gave us recommendations of ways to help problem areas and try to find out where she should concentrate more during the actual massage. Once the massage started, I see why this place was rated sooo highly. I came out relaxed and worry free (so did my friend). Go check out this place and see Kelly for a massage you won't regret.

Wow - just wow! I can't say enough amazing things about Carol and her massages. I found out about…read moreHands on Massage & Bodywork from an Empowered Pregnancy series run through Advocate Sherman Hospital. Carol came and talked about all the benefits of massage - things I never knew about! I was definitely a person who has never been interested in massage therapy and knew nothing about it. She blew me away with her knowledge! Through my pregnancy when I started getting towards the end I learned that through all of my lifting and workouts I had made my body really tight and not necessarily prepared for childbirth. I quickly booked a massage at a local, corporate massage place and instantly regretted it. The person had no idea how to massage a pregnant person and was basically doing a typical massage on a pregnancy table. That's when I contacted Carol and set up an appt with her. From the moment I walked in I could tell this experience would be different. She has such a calm demeanor and instantly put me at ease. Her room is calming and smells wonderful! She knew all about different oils to use, pressure points and different massage techniques to do at different stages of pregnancy. I had done a lot of research on these things and she was talking about all of it before I mentioned a thing! She is very cutting-edge in her training, but that is backed with years of experience. I have never felt so confident in someone's expertise and ability in a long time. The massage itself was so relaxing and everything I needed at the time. I saw her a handful of times leading up to my pregnancy and she was awesome about fitting me in when I had time to come see her. It was honestly the best part of the last weeks of my pregnancy and I wish I had gone to her sooner. My body felt great, I felt more relaxed, my mental state was better, and it was just some great "me" time before the baby came. She would even talk to me about massages to do and pressure points to engage to help with some of the problems I was having. Even though she was further away from where I live, it was so worth the drive out there and I recommend her to everyone! You won't find a better place to get a massage.

It definitely helped with tension and soreness. I tried their facial last week and it was also really nice. They asked what my goal was for my skin and did a quick massage on my back and neck. Would highly recommend! The facility is very modern and they offer flavored water when you walk in. When it's cold outside, they give you a heated neck micro-bead pillow. The bathrooms are always clean and the beds can also be heated.

When I picked him up he told me he was asked how his massage was and offered a membership to which he declined. I received a $40 charge on my card one month later. They told me they had booked him for a massage on his way out. He never confirmed or agreed to anything, way to take advantage of people! I had to cancel my card because I didn't want any more charges from them. The manager offered a massage at a discounted price which I declined. I'm not rewarding them making an unauthorized charge by giving them more money. I am also unable to get a refund back on my card since it was cancelled and they are not willing to confirm with my bank that it was indeed an unauthorized charge so we can get our money back. This is stealing !! This isn't how you run a business. People trust you and give you their payment deals to hold an appointment or pay for a service not for you to charge them randomly like this. I was told the owner " probably " wouldn't want to work with my bank. This is sad !!!!
