Came here for the little baby gift shop that houses with the boba shop, so this is a review…read morespecifically for that aspect of the store. very sweet staff. it is run by Taiwanese people, so I just know that boba is good, even though I did not have it. But!!! The store did not display pricing labels for all of the products, so I had to pay $10.85 for the designed keychain holders on the cashier spot because no specification on pricing, despite asking. ahhhhhhh!!! got the charms to make a $10.85 bracelet/necklace/keychain, but the materials that they use to make these items are not compatible with all of the beads available for choosing. staff did not make this clear and also made it as so they would make the items...they do not. need this shop to be more transparent, please! I would rate higher had they been, but staff means well. I know that. cute little store with so many asian culture goodies and sanrio products. I liked that...just overpriced. Expected. Will say that the bright white lighting felt like that of a hospital because not a lot of decoration or housing in the middle of the shop for customers to drink, eat, make their jewelry, or roam around to window shop. awkwardly empty in the middle, so it felt like I was in a morgue with how the setup made it that the shelves flashed to the wall corners.

Took me a while to find this spot so I hope this might save people in the future. The advertisement…read morewas on the upper level alongside their mini truck but the shop is on the lower levels where vehicles are prohibited, so take the stairs down. There's two shops connected where one sells drinks and the other has plushies (Hello Kitty, panda, and boba themed), claw machines, and edible dessert like taiyaki and ice pops. I think it's decent boba for Leavenworth, but it's pretty mediocre when comparing to an actual boba spot. I'd skip the toppings but give the drinks another chance. Little pricey though, $9 before tip for a 24oz which is the standard size these days. They also offer 16oz and 32oz. Original Black Tea w/ Boba - I ordered milk tea but guess it was missed so I guess that means I can be more critical of the tea. Well, the black tea was pretty watered down. There was an extremely faint aftertaste that I can akin to black tea because I ordered but not if I were blindfolded. Boba was medium sized which I don't care for (between normal boba and baby boba) but also inconsistent. Some pearls were chewy but others firm and split in half when bitten. Seems like new batches mixed in with old batches.

I'm always amazed at the concept and execution of shaved ice! Simply based on what it looks like,…read moreit seems like this had to of originated along time ago when somebody realize the way to monetize the old yellow snow trick. That said, they've done a great job of making it so this is now the treat that our kids want during the summertime. This place is open from noon until 8 PM Monday through Saturday in the summertime. They operate out of a small boxy stand in the chalet village and they really have the whole shaved ice thing down. Serving up shaved ice in small and large sizes, which are equivalent to huge and really huge. We didn't count the number of flavors, but it's a pretty expensive list. It ranges from the expected to some pretty interesting combinations. One of her little dudes got a combination of tigers blood (strawberry and coconut, I think) and marshmallow. Our other little guy went with the more classic bubblegum flavor... It's still puzzles me about the allure of the flavor of gum. I suppose this is probably something we should celebrate for as long as we can - bubblegum can only hold its mystique do so long! Both enjoyed their choice and by the end had a lovely sugary slurry with enough "energy" to power them for about 2 hours of straight running! Do you remember the Saturday night live where Mike Myers place a kid who is given a Pepsi and a snickers bar, and that is able to tow a car home...that's basically what went down! The best thing about this place, other than the carb loading, is the combination of pleasant folks working here as well as the fact that the small (read huge) is only three dollars. Anymore, it's honestly very difficult to find anything that has such a high joy to cost ratio! If you haven't checked this place out, you should probably do so... You will be your kids hero more than you already are!

In the same parking lot as Wrays on 3rd, it's a great spot to stop for lunch for a quick snack. The menu is very sweets-centric with a lot of different dessert options including plenty we weren't familiar with but that seemed to be crowd favorites. The Radspado was pretty awesome - basically it's a slightly larger version of a snow cone with a Mexican twist! My leche and fresa Raspado was awesome! Super sweet and super good! The cucumber and strawberry lemonade was quite good as well, as was the strawberry horchata! One spot they were lacking a bit was the selection for lunch, though what they had was good. I had a tamale special - a pork and chicken tamale with a drink for $5, and a buddy had taquitos. Both were fine and went nicely with the dessert options. They also had some ceviche, nachos and different takes on elote. End of the day, you should be coming here for the sweets and when you do, you won't be disappointed. Prices aren't bad, the folks working were very friendly and the food was all solid. They've got different stuff than we've seen in other stores and you'll most definitely find something you like!
