It's a true tienda with a little bit of everything: candles, hair products, brooms, salsa, and telephones that can call various Latin American countries. But back to the bakery: there are items here that I've never seen at other panaderías, from Costa Rica to Ecuador. For example, they have giant mazapán that are delightfully fresh and melt in your mouth. They have a variety of cakes and pan dulce, along with the old standards like puerquitos. Yet I was compelled to try one when I visited this Leavenworth store.. Crunchy , robust and delicious are my feelings for this masterpiece cookie.
