Always, always out of the most basic organic items--organic chicken breasts, thighs, you name it. Half the time the cooler looks like it was raided days ago and never restocked. And don't get me started on the produce. They slap the "organic" label on it, charge a premium, and then give you limp, bruised, half-rotten fruits and vegetables that look like they were picked last month. I've thrown away more moldy berries, and slimy greens from this store than I care to count. For "farmers market" prices, you'd expect at least decent quality. Nope. Management? What management? I've never once seen a manager on the floor, addressing the chaos, restocking, or even pretending to care that customers are walking out empty-handed and furious. The whole operation feels abandoned. I'm done. There's a Whole Foods literally down the street that actually staffs the place, has cashiers when you need them, consistently stocks what they advertise, and sells produce that doesn't make you question your life choices. This was my first visit at this FitLife store and met with the manager Lisa who emitted a great personality with a professional presence without exerting an aggressive sales pitch. Spun the colorful "Whirl of Fun" prize wheel at the front counter and won a free meal of my choice from the wall cooler. Lisa provided a recommendation for the bourbon street chicken and white rice with 690 calories and 73 grams of protein meal (thats a great protein to calorie ratio). The nutritional value was exactly what I was looking for in a complete meal. This location as most, provide microwaves inside the store to heat up your meal and eat on the front patio, take back to your office or eat in your car. I took my meal home and microwave heated the contents per the simple instructions. The rice could have been softer but the bourbon chicked had an explosion of flavor in every moist chunk and was pleased that there was plenty of sauce. She was incredibly knowledgable, it was little a mini masterclass in CBD. She allowed us to sample topical CBD--which worked better than anything my Dr. has ever prescribed. She also taught me about CBG, which I had never heard of, for improved focus and though it wasn't purchased the day we went in, I'll for sure be ordering online. They had other, non CBD products, and she was equally as knowledgeable about those. What a great store and staff!
