I'm going to split this review up into my three favorite things about Coco Loco on Havana street. 1. The smoothies They're amazing. Best in the state. Period. If you like chocolatey smoothies, there's something here for you. If you like fruity smoothies, there's something here for you. I will never make my own smoothie again. 2. Tia Vicky Mrs. Vicky is awesome. I can tell she remembers her customers and does right by them. If you go in there enough, she treats you like family and I love that. She invited us to their Coco Loco After Hours where they had a 5 star Cuban chef cook food while she made smoothies - and she took great care of us. She is a very warm person and we love seeing her each time we go in. 3. CBD Simply hemp makes the best CBD west of the Mississippi and East of the Rockies. It's real, potent and full. Add some to you smoothies! Bonus points for the great food and smoothies bowls. I recommend the oatmeal and southwest bowl with garlic pork. Wow! We have been visiting this place for a little over a year now (we were sad when we couldn't get our smoothie fix during quarantine) and it just keeps getting better! Now on GrubHub! Which is a dangerous game changer! Our food just arrived, with perfectly packaged smoothies and labeled wraps with our modifications as specified in the order. This was my second time coming here as the first visit was very good. Great service and great acai bowl. Decided to go back for a smoothie and you would have thought it was the end of the world for the woman behind the counter. She could barely even say hi even though she spoke to all the other customers in a normal tone (talking about some wedding or something). Then on the way out she could barely speak up about my order being ready. And in all honestly, I can deal with that most of the time. The huge problem is I just threw up the $10 acai smoothie i got. This wasn't the first thing I ate today so I know I don't have a bug. Plus, I feel fine now. Either she used old ingredients or didn't clean the machines properly. I can only get outside a few times a day due to my medical condition (extreme neuropathy) and now I need to go get food again.... I feel bad for the guy (dude on the walls) that first served me because he did an outstanding job and was the reason I came back. Was happy paying every penny plus tip. Maybe I'll be back if I don't see her working. Edit: after reading all the reviews for the last 2 years involving this miserable woman, you all deserve 0 stars. We ordered via Grubhub and were pleasantly surprised that everything was correct, the order was complete (other than some missing utensils and napkins--not a big deal) and appropriately hot or cold. The Verde Juice 3 had an odd flavor that I couldn't identify that made me think of Indian food, maybe turmeric? I expected only the ingredients listed so that was a disappointment but I'm sure it was very healthful! I ordered a Southwest Bowl and it was really good--- a large portion, the chicken was moist and shredded, the avocado perfectly ripe. I would have liked more corn, but overall excellent. Someone else had the Cubano Grilled Wrap and said it was also very delicious, and the Hot Oatmeal Fruit Medley bowl was the best oatmeal he'd ever had, he said. All of the other food and smoothies were also tasty. Don't be misled by the "Smoothies with Wings" category--they don't serve chicken wings--haha! Prices were very good, which was nice, to offset the high Grubhub fees (even with the Amazon discount). We will for sure order from Coco Loco again! read more

Everything seems to have gone down hill. Came in tonight one whole hour before closing to get smoothie bowls and juice and the lady working said they couldn't make juice because she already cleaned/shut the machine down? Juice is one of the main products here...bizarre. I could understand if they closed in ten minutes, but one whole hour and you can't make juice?She also gave me attitude when I asked for peanut butter on top of my smoothie bowl. The bowls are MUCH smaller than they used to be. I understand prices for things have gone up, but the portions are sort of ridiculously small at this point. Barely any smoothie for the bowl and mostly toppings. I honestly will probably never come here again due to the poor service alone, which is unfortunate because the other people who work here have been pleasant to me, but it seems this on particular woman treats all customers poorly/dislikes her job. read more

Wow so glad I found this place. Got a smoothie bowl this morning, think it was the papaya one. It was absolutely delicious. Ingredients tasted fresh. Person added protein powder in it for me. And was in general super friendly. The prices are fair. I paid $8.70 for my bowl and it was the appropriate size. I usually pay nearly $12 for a similar bowl at another place. Yes to this new addition to OnHavanaStreet, at Iliff and Havana right behind the Dunkin' Donuts. The Havana Business Improvement District, OnHavanaStreet just keeps growing... I am so excited that Coco Loco is one of the 96 restaurants to explore new flavors. This location used to be a video game store and now home to a wonderful healthy and delicious grab and go eatery. This little shop is tucked away in the corner of the shopping center where Tj Maxx & Ross are at Village on the Park. You'll have to enter from the Iliff entrance near the Tofu House. Every time I visit they always seem to have lots of parking. Just a side note there is no seating area. This is a grab and go restaurant. Coco Loco is a great grab and go juice and eats with lots of healthy and refreshing option. On their menu they have cold pressed juices made with sugar cane, wraps, smoothies, Boba teas, assortment of salads, bowls, healthy breads, apples/cheese & cracker snacks. I have only tried some of their juices and the southwestern salad with chipotle chicken. At first I thought it would just be a standard southwest chicken salad, but great job Coco Loco for stepping it up a notch. Amazing flavors with the dressing and I enjoyed it so much I kept offering it to everyone else around me to try it! Loved the fresh corn and black beans with yummy avocado. So far everything was delicious and can't wait to come back for an açai bowl. I'm from Hawaii and sometimes crave a really good açaí bowl. Also they have CBD oils for sale, with no THC. You can add them to your juices or smoothies or bowls. Jose, one of the owners, offered me these dog treat samples, and my dog loved them. They are in the process of packaging them for sale. They are made from the juicing/smoothies scraps. My boxer lab loves these fruits and vegetables dog treats & can't wait to buy them! I've been in the Denver area for about five years now, and never found a food spot that felt "right." That changed on Friday when i got tired of bland, overpriced smoothies from the franchise and corporate places around town. I found this place pretty much by accident, and it's the happiest accident I've had in the Mile High City. This place is family-owned and operated, it's healthy, it's delicious, and dear lord, it's AUTHENTIC. It's the first place we've found anywhere in town that's just honestly, simply true to itself. They use real ingredients, fresh stuff, and deliver meals and smoothies that aren't processed crap. The price is just about what I'd pay at the other places, and while their smoothies don't come in the MASSIVE STYROFOAM BUCKETS that you can get at some place like Smoothie King, instead you get something that's enjoyably filling, that delivers a fantastic taste, great feelings after, and if I'm being honest, their use of real ingredients--food and smoothies alike--seem to make everything much more filling and enjoyable. Just imagine: Getting more, out of eating less. I couldn't possibly ask for more. We've already been to see them twice, and we're already planning to stop in for lunch tomorrow. OH!
