Cute little boba shop in Lexington. I haven't tried this franchise before but today was the day to try. I love their cute logo, reminds me of the fire from Howls Moving Castle. And they have one table in the shape of a boba cup. The Bobarista helped explain any drinks we had questions on, since the descriptions under each drink wasn't in English. Some of the drinks names made me giggle, like 2 Ladies and 3 Gentlemen or something like that. My sister got the Lava Jasmine Milk Tea while I got the regular Jasmine Milk Tea. He explained that the Lava series is made with brown sugar rather than the regular white sugar, which was nice to know. The texture of the boba wasn't bad, not hard at all, just chewy. The jasmine was good, but only had a hint of the jasmine flavor. Overall, a pretty good spot!

The bubble tea is very delicious. I personally love getting the 3 Guys and the Lava Pearls Japanese Matcha milk tea. They have a delicious caramelized creamy taste to their milk tea that I haven't had anywhere else. This is one of my favorite spots in Massachusetts.

The trees tested great. Stronger than normal places. Which I appreciate. Tapioco had good texture. Kind staff. Super helpful. Will stop by again.

A small but clean space - Coco is located in the downtown area of Lexington. I enjoy the milk teas from Coco and my go to is always the 2 Ladies. Decided to try their new Lava series and ordered the Lava Pearl Milk Tea which is basically brown sugar milk tea boba - it's not bad but I still prefer the 2 Ladies. My partner ordered a large 2 Ladies but it didn't come much pudding sadly.

We wanted to try coco bubble tea since its grand opening at Lexington in the winter, and finally got to try on a sunny weekend. The line was long and the service was slow, but it is worth the waiting. We tried their signature drink, 2 ladies milk tea and 3 guys milk tea, with less sugar and less ice. Both are fantastic and taste better than most of the bubble places in MA. The last time I had such delicious bubble teas was at NYC..... although the price is on the higher end, it is worth it. We will come back quite a lot in the summer!

I got inspired by watching youtube to make a jambon buerre sandwich - supposedly a popular quick sandwich for Parisians. The sandwich is half a baguette with butter and French bistro ham. I tried searching all over for the French bistro ham with no luck. The only options were online sources with expensive shipping and/or expensive minimum order sizes. Somehow I stumbled upon MA-France nearby in Arlington and they sell jambon-buerre sandwiches. It's a small shop that sells sandwiches, pastries, and a small offering of French food products. Lots of pastries and baked goods like quiche, tarts, cookies, croissants, etc. The cheese offerings were very limited and basic. I can imagine that the cheeses that they sell are the same types and brands that they use for making sandwiches. For example, they sell President brand Brie - that you can also buy at Costco and market basket. Disappointing, but understandable because they can't afford to buy more variety and more expensive offerings without a big enough client base to buy those cheeses before they go bad. Getting back to the sandwich - it was half a baguette with some thick slices of butter and two pieces of French bistro ham. The bread was kind of dense and the crust was more chewy than crispy. I was disappointed that they didn't bother to spread the butter, but if they're not selling enough sandwiches then they're probably keeping the butter in the refrigerator - making it too difficult to spread. When I got home I fixed up the sandwich to my liking. Overall, the sandwich was okay, but not good enough to make me want to go back. At least I was able to solve my hunger for the jambon buerre sandwich.

The shop has a cozy, intimate feel, and one of my favorite details was the large window into the kitchen, where you can watch the bakers preparing dough and pulling fresh pastries straight from the oven. It operates primarily as a grab-and-go bakery with only limited seating, but the steady stream of customers gives it the lively atmosphere of a neighborhood favorite. The pain au chocolat was one of the standout pastries from my visit. The laminated layers were beautifully defined, creating a crisp, flaky exterior that shattered with each bite while revealing a light, airy honeycomb interior. Inside, the dark chocolate was rich and evenly distributed, adding just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the buttery pastry. It's an excellent example of a classic done well, with careful attention to both texture and balance. The classic croissant was equally impressive. It had a rich buttery aroma the moment I opened the bag, with a crisp, golden shell that gave way to a soft, pull-apart interior. The pastry felt light despite its richness, striking the balance that makes a truly great croissant. Every layer was distinct, and it never felt greasy or overly heavy. Since everything is baked fresh in relatively small batches, timing your visit makes a difference. Many of the most popular pastries sell out well before noon, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Even during the morning rush, the staff kept the line moving efficiently, making it easy to grab a box of pastries without a long wait. Nouvé Bakery is a fantastic addition to Lexington's bakery scene. The quality of the lamination, the careful execution of the classics, and the fresh-baked experience make it well worth the trip. Whether you're stopping by for a simple butter croissant or the excellent pain au chocolat, it's the kind of bakery that's easy to revisit whenever you're craving authentic French pastries made with care.

Wish they had skim milk but had to opt for whole milk. The cortado wasn't great, more like a flat white - too much milk and couldn't taste any espresso. The pastries were great though! The pain Suisse was perfect! The saltiness of the pistachios were so good and could get a hint of white chocolate! Pain au chocolate had a good amount of chocolate and was perfectly flaky! Will be back to try their plain croissant, egg tart and some of the fruit danishes - just wouldn't get the coffee again!
