When I asked for a leg massage the man but his fingers to his his for forehead for a few seconds and said "uh I guess I could do that." I wasn't not trying to make it a big deal. He leads me to the area and tells me I can leave my items in the container during my massage. Me thinking because I'm getting a massage, I should take my jeans off. I asked him if I put my jeans there and he says something I couldn't understand (he has a Chinese accent that's hard for me to understand) so I asked a gain and clearly this time he said no to keep them on while shaking his head. I felt it was odd but if he was uncomfortable with massaging my legs because I'm a man then Ok, I'll take what I can get cause my legs were hurting. I asked for a 30 minute massage (they had 20,30,45 1hour) I get my massage which was ok not great but not horrible. I paid 35 for what I thought was 30 minutes when in reality I found out was 20 minutes after looking at my phone to check the time. I also tipped 5 extra dollars when I payed. After paying I sat down a waited for my friends to finish, while sitting down I heard them speaking Chinese. They were unaware that any of us spoke Chinese, and were very confident that we were unaware of them complaining and making fun of the amount of money I tipped. Which was very unappreciative of the business we gave them. They not only complained about my tip but another friend of mines tip but acted so polite when speaking English. For Christmas I received a certificate from my daughter for a facial at Humble Hands Massage. I…read morehad never had a full facial done before and I had never heard of this place. However, I was certainly up for some pampering! The first time you call the general number to make an appointment you need to leave your name, phone number, and what kind of services you are looking for. I did that and received a phone call back later that day. Sharon was going to do my facial, but was pretty booked so I needed to wait a bit to find a time that worked for both of our schedules. On the day of the appointment I put the address in my GPS and set off. The location is not well marked. They are in what looks to be office buildings with no signage outside that indicates where they are exactly. I was driving around and nervous because I did not know where to go and it was almost time for my appointment. I eventually saw that the number was on the back building and figured it must be in there somewhere. I walked in the door, followed my nose to where the smell of essential oils was wafting from, and there was the place. The waiting room was dimly lit and was a soothing atmosphere. I had to fill out a quick form and wait a tiny bit until entering into the private room where the facials were done. I did not even know what to expect other than some creams and such being put on my face. What I got was sooooo much more! Sharon did a number of facial treatments, but she also spent time applying moist hot towels to my arms and hands, my feet and lower legs, and my shoulders and neck. and massaging those areas as well. She gave me the choice of 3 different essential oils to choose from that were applied in some of the treatments. She let me sniff each (Thyme, Lavender, and Citrus) and let me choose. Soft music, a comfortable massage table, dim lighting, and a very pleasant Sharon made the experience awesome! I could not believe I had never done this before! I certainly will be again :) It felt wonderful.
