Stress related. To get in on such short notice was impressive and such a relief! I booked an hour long deep tissue Thai massage ($60 + $25 essential oils) added a reset to focus on a few problem areas ($30) I had the incredible Owen. He briefly reviewed my listed problem areas (noted on the paper they give you at check in) to diving right in. He offered gentle check ins on pressure/temp throughout massage & provided guidance on when to breathe. Hot stones, essential oils, stretching, breathing all were to be expected. Horrible experience. I thought massage therapists had to go through a 4 year program at an accredited university? If so, why is it none of the therapists speak English? Not even basic English! I really messed up my neck and shoulder at work and I was in SO MUCH PAIN AND COULD BARELY MOVE MY HEAD BACK AND FORTH. Everyone was booked so I called Jasmine Spa as soon as they opened and they got me in AN HOUR Later!! Helen was my masseuse and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! This lady was legit on all fours massaging my back and shoulders with her knees. It was an unbelievable massage. SO GOOD. I have absolutely NO more pain in my neck or shoulder. It was SO good I called my mom and boyfriend afterwards telling them both we have to go back together. $60 bucks for a 70min full body massage with hot stone. Terrible Experience! I was gifted a Groupon for this place and made an appointment for Friday January 26 2024. Upon arrival I presented my printed Groupon and was told that it is only valid on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Sundays! Strike 1. I asked the woman to show me where that is stated on my paperwork. She looked and then said it's on the website which upon checking it does not. Strike 2. There is a notation under fine print that says Merchant's redemption requirements subject to change without notice. Either way I should have been told at the time I made the appointment the days for use of Groupon were only Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday. That would have saved me the time and aggravation. Strike 3. I left very frustrated with the whole experience and will contact Groupon for a refund because I have no desire to go somewhere that does this kind of business! read more

Gift certificates not honored..... I just had to throw out $130 in gift certificates that were somehow 'expired'. I had 3 gift certificates: *2 of which were purchased for $60 each and had nothing on the gift certificate about an expiration date or time period. * the 3rd gift certificate purchased for $70 didn't have a legible date on it. NOTE: Unlike most businesses that extended the expiration date of gift certificates due to COVID this business doesn't care. All of the gift certificates were purchased for me before or in the middle of COVID so I held onto them (since it didn't see anything about an expiration date) thinking I would use them when I felt safe and comfortable to do so. And today happened to be that day. In the end, I was told that the $70 one was unusable and I would not receive any credit for it and both of the $60 ones were now only worth half the value of $30. The receptionist called the owner and explained all this to the over the phone and the owner decided not to allow me to use the gift certificates for their full value. Do not come here for massage. I was misled by the reviews below that said the massages are really good. The place has probably changed after the last review. I paid $80 for the deep tissue massage which was literally fifteen minutes of massage which was then followed by forty five minutes of oil lathering and hot stones. I have gotten massages from a lot of places and I can say with 100% confidence that what you get here is not a deep tissue massage. I paid more for the deep tissue massage too but it was a total waste of money. The masseuse did not even make any effort. I came out extremely disappointed at the total waste of money and time. They gave me a masseuse (Grace) who clearly had a upper respiratory infection and kept sniffling and swallowing phlegm every few minutes. Overall experience was in incredible. I got the 60 minute deep tissue body massage, this also included a free hot stone massage as well. Helen was incredible. She had firm hands and was not afraid to use a lot of pressure. At the end of the massage, I was greeted with a water bottle. They also give a few dollars off for paying in cash. The room, was dim lit and had soft music playing, set the mood perfectly. The amount of healing that they can accomplish with a 90-minute deep-tissue massage is so great that it is difficult to measure. A friend recommended this place because she'd had their hot oil massage and said they were good. She mentioned they offer Thai massage and I decided to try it out. When I arrived and spoke to the woman at the front desk she assured me the massages were Thai massage. I paid for a 60 minute Thai massage but it was not a Thai massage. I could say it was a massage with Thai massage influences but that would be giving them too much credit. I was asked to disrobe and lay face down. There was a paper towel on the face cradle, which I thought was strange, but I went with it. There wasn't a sheet but a towel to cover myself. When my massage therapist arrived she greeted me and went right to work on my upper back and shoulders. At one point she moved to my lower body. She moved my towel down and she also pulled my underwear to the top of my thighs. Then she proceeded to massage my lower back and my butt cheeks. She did this by moving her hands from my upper back down to my butt and then moving her hands outwards. I started laughing because she was essentially spreading my bare butt cheeks, which has never happened before in any of my massage experiences. At one point the therapist left the room and returned with hot stones. I didn't think this was part of the session and so was surprised when she put them on my back without warning. She asked me if I was okay after I jerked in surprise. The massage in general was okay-ish. The therapist tried but she was not very good. I talked to my friend after the massage and asked her if she ever had the experience of her therapists (she has had 2 different therapists in this location) ever removed her underwear and massage her bare butt. However tonight I just walked out after getting ready for a massage treatment due to the rude and disrespectful manner and tone of each of the three women (a thin bleach blond, a short older woman and a third that I can't recall her description). I would hate to point out racism as being the issue but I said maybe on 6 words to them the entire visit - "can I have a foot massage please". Literally that was all I said and only once and the disrespect in the air was palpable even not knowing their language.
