After discovering COCO donuts on yelp I decided to give them a try for the 1st time. The shop was empty as with most of the display case (good sign I suppose). Seconds after I entered, out came an Asian lady that simply stated "how many?" I chose half dozen and there she stood idle as I looked at my options. I quickly chose 5 and then debated for an excruciatingly long 15-20 seconds. During that vast expanse of time she decided to carpet bomb me with "1 more" "1 more" "choose more" "1". I'm now getting ready to pull up one of the vacant chairs and place it in front of the display case and ponder my final selection. I asked her if she was busy or in a hurry, and she replied with a snide "yes, very busy!, one more!" I chose and in it went along with 2 complimentary donut holes. What an experience. read more

I'll be real. I came here to stress eat because of everything that's going on right now and I was craving donuts and needed some that made me stop thinking for at least a few minutes. Thankfully, this is near my house and really hit that sweet spot -- no pun intended. I went early in the morning around 7 and thankfully, was the only one in there. After all, we're still in a pandemic and I'm observing those social distancing rules. The case was full and had a variety of choices. I went with some classics to give them a try before moving on to the heavy duty stuff -- sugar, glazed, chocolate, apple fritter, and their version of the cronut. The wonderful woman behind the counter even threw in two donut holes for free! My mom loved the glazed and sugar, and we tried the others. Their croissant, donut hybrid was fantastic. It's not a true cronut and they don't claim it is. But it is a true hybrid with the fluffiness of the croissant with the soft cushion of a donut and it was perfect. Finally made a visit to Coco Donuts down the street. Not a huge variety and they're expensive like most donut places in Vegas. We tried the chocolate covered Bavarian creme filled, a cronut or as they call a dough'sant, red velvet, chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing and unfortunately had sprinkles, chocolate covered donut also with sprinkles, and a lemon filled. She threw in a few donut holes for us to try which was nice and they were actually very very good. The rest of the doughnuts were as good quality as anywhere else I've had in vegas. They don't stand out but they're good. My first time trying a cronut and it was okay. Nothing particularly special about it. It isn't super sweet like your traditional American donuts so that's different. The store is small and there's a small counter with a small display. Quick stop in Vegas for the holidays had me wishing for some early Christmas Eve breakfast of champs! My parents love donuts and I had looked over reviews and settled on this close location. Originally I came because a customer claimed they have Kolaches. Unfortunately they do not. :( however they do have croissants and this was PERFECT to make up for it. I can't speak for the donuts because I personally do not eat them but they had a wide variety of fun flavors and colors. I did eat the apple one that had a nice crumble on top and it was fresh and delicious! We had ordered three chocolate donuts but were given maple. My mother still loved them they just were not what we had originally wanted when we asked if they were in fact chocolate. Easy mistake and no hard feelings. I really do like this shopping center. It's got my favorite tailor and dry cleaner, it's got my favorite Korean sushi house, and it has a Roberto's that makes Al-Pastor fries. The shopping center just got better with the addition of Coco Donuts. Coco is one of those more quality-type donut places, like Ronald's Donuts in Spring Mountain. This is a Korean owned donut store, so I hope the local Koreans can support this place as well. As we all know, a lot of Korean-yelpers for whatever reason give out 1-star reviews to most fellow Korean places, but give 5-stars out to those weirdo Euro places that have macaroons, beignets, eclairs, and something called a Jesuite. Got a cronut craving? If so, come to Coco's. I was directed here by Amanda M. and if she says it's good, then I know it will be. This new donut place is not too far from my house, so this past Saturday morning, I made the ten minute drive to check out the sugar. The parking lot was deserted when I got there, but the Open sign was on, so I didn't start crying immediately. I walked into a pristine donut shop, with the cases so shiny, bright, and full of sugary goodness--I don't think I've ever been to a donut shop this clean. And, lo and behold, one case FULL of cronuts, and no one else was around? Jackpot! There was only one cinnamon sugar cronut in the case, so I chose that, as well as a glazed one and one with white frosting, which upon closer inspection at home, had filling. I'm not a fan of donuts with filling, but that's just me. There were some pumpkin donuts that I'd like to go back and try, but I felt I needed to exert some self-control on this first visit. Of course, everything else looked amazing, too. I drove home with the smell of the cronuts filling the car and enjoyed that cinnamon sugar delight as soon as I got into the kitchen--delicious! The b/f started off "just tasting" the glazed one, but ended up killing it, too. Blessing or curse that Coco Donuts is just down the road? Only time will tell, but in the meantime, go check it out yourselves for some delicious donuts before word gets out and there's a line for their sugary gems. I thought Pink Box Doughnuts (I do like the fat elvis at pink box) was rated too high but this place takes the cake... errr donut. Picked out a half dozen donuts and cronut. My wife cut the cronut in half for us to split and it was damn sweet. Eating one of the iced cronuts from here will send you straight to the dentist. The apple filled donut was pretty good and the sugar twist was too. The rest of the donuts were just way to sugary and sweet. They reminded me of donuts from Winchell's except these were worse. The lady behind the counter was nice and inside was clean but I can't see coming back. Featuring friendly service and owners more than happy to discuss their craft plus a pre-order system that guarantees one can arrive to truly fresh doughnuts it was just after 7:00am on a Friday when I entered the store and having used the aforementioned system my order was ready to go along with a complimentary yeasted donut with sprinkles and three donut holes piping hot from the fryer. Using oldworld recipes for their cake donuts my first tastes were the buttermilk bar and the Strawberry old fashioned and with both featuring a dense crumb and glaze that is surprisingly subtle I was excited to next see what the fritter had to offer - a great exterior crunch and supple center, though somewhat sparse in apples. With the raised donut very traditional with light yeasty notes and the blueberry far more naturally flavored than most as I proceeded to the finale I will simply say that although these ladies may not have invented the cronut they have perfected it with crispy layers shattering to the tooth and a light, airy interior far superior to those at Dominique Ansel without the two hour wait, at 3/5 the price, and in no less than 18 varieties if you order in advance. read more

Nice place to go to in the morning to have some ice coffee and a few donuts(: everyone's nice and not in a grumpy mood. I absolutely love Coco donuts! They are always fresh and don't leave that weird oil after taste like some donut places do. They don't have any of those fancy cereal covered donuts, the donuts here aren't covered in Peeps for Easter nor do they have an extra pound of candy on them as decor, they are just donuts, good old fashion donuts. Donuts like the way they were meant to be! The store front is small and there is not much room to eat there, it's definitely more of a pick up and take home to enjoy kind of place. The customer service is average, not great but not bad. I've come so many different times and days and I've never once had any issues like some other people have, maybe they just didn't like the attitude of certain customers and they are selective to who the sell to? Who knows! But the average customer service is easier to deal with than average tasting donuts from other places. This place will continue to be my go to! read more

I have finally found a donut shop that reminds me of the donuts in Southern California! They have simple donuts that taste fresh. I love the apple fritter- not too sweet and has a great outer crunch with a soft inside. They always throw in a few donut holes for the kids. One of the first things you will notice is how friendly the owner is. In many establishments in Vegas, the owners/workers act like they could care less whether or not you return, and that was not the case here. On my first visit, I tried the blueberry glazed, cinnamon roll, and apple fritter. All three were very fresh and this is definitely a place you should visit if you are seeking a high quality product. The blueberry glazed had a nice flavor, but not too sweet. This would be a good choice if you want something sweet, but not overpowering. Next, the cinnamon roll was amazing! It was a nice portion size and just the right amount of glaze and cinnamon. Last but not least, the apple fritter was by far my favorite. The apples had a nice texture and the spice flavor was consistent throughout. On the next visit, I had the dough'sant, which is their version of the cronut. I later decided to share my gluttony and bought 2 dozen to take to work and several people had 2 and wanted more. This is layer after layer of flaky goodness! As much as I enjoy the dough'sant, I think I will reserve that one for pre/post marathon fuel because it is a bit rich for me. read more

Fresh soft and fluffy donuts ($1), tried the cinnamon roll and the twist. Really recommend plain (no filling) cronuts. ($3), cross between donut and croissant, incredible texture, worth the $. If you don't live in neighborhood, bring your dry cleaning as it is a few doors down from a really good dry cleaner. When I asked about a cream filled cronut the girl helping us seemed confused and said she'd never seen one. I don't know where ppl on Yelp got them! A little disappointing. The red velvet was a regular donut with red food coloring and too sweet. The cake part should have a bit of cocoa powder for flavor but it tasted like a plain old fashioned with pink Icing, which was too sweet. Should have been white frosting for visuals and it should have been a cream cheese Icing to cut the sweetness. Oh well. The cronut with the powdered sugar was awesome. I tried the cinnamon cronut and it was absolutely delicious. All of the pastries appear extremely fresh and delicious. There is nothing fancy about the appearance of the shop but the donuts/cronuts are some of the best in town. I was a little disappointed with the service. I stopped in this little shop before a social event. I figured I would take some yummy goodies to everyone and I thought doughnuts would be the perfect thing! They were a huge hit! The doughnuts were soft and fresh! Needless to say I didn't have any leftovers to take home, but I guess that just goes to show that everyone including myself LOVED them! Also, I must say, the day I went in to get my order, there were about 4 or 5 people in front of me and only one clerk. She worked quick and I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Excellent little donut shop right by my house. I stop here about once a month to bring donuts and cronuts to the office and everyone loves them. Service is always great and fast. While the selection is standard, the quality is always great. Thick, soft inside, crunchy outside, good balance of the icing / toppings. It's true that coffee isn't their thing. Coco Donuts are very yummy! My daughter and I stopped today for their infamous Cronut, or as Coco's calls it a Dough'sant, a flaky donut crossed with a croissant. My daughter had a sugar donut and myself also tried the chocolate covered Boston cream filled donut. Donuts are bigger then your typical donut shop and there is one as big as your face! My daughter kept saying "Wow!". The lady behind the counter made a fresh pot of coffee for me. She is very pleasant and patient and quick. This place is very busy. I just had my first Cronut doughnut from CoCo Doughnut it was really good. Sweet and Flaky. The lady was even nice enough to give me one to try. There was a nice selection of doughnuts... Plenty of doughnuts there... It's about 11:30am. I'm not sure what all of the other reviews are talking about but I had a great experience and the doughnuts were delicious! I had a glazed and chocolate covered Cronut and my Mom had the apple fritter doughnut. I'll definitely go back again for more doughnuts. I ate my doughnuts too fast to take pictures... My first time trying a cronut and its not my favorite - a little too doughy for my liking. Fortunately, I also got a cinnamon roll and that was really good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also got a large glazed and large bearclaw for the kids and they liked theirs as well. I like that this place was near to my home and they had quite a selection at 1p right before they were closing at 2 (on a Sunday). Overall, good doughnuts, so I'll definitely be back. read more
