I almost never post bad reviews.. But I'm pretty disgusted with this particular experience. Very disappointed with the service. I ordered for delivery and received it 2 hours later. Tried to call the restaurant twice. First time they said the order left minutes previous and would be there any minute. 20 min later..nothing and I call again and get an apologetic answer talking about the wrong order and the busy day they're having. Food was not hot by the time it arrived. Tried to get answers out of yelp eat24 with excuses about the restaurant being busy. I would have cancelled the order and went elsewhere if I received a call early on to advise a 2 hour wait time. read more

This place is suprisingly really cool. It's on a random corner..Sherman Way and Lindley, in the same shopping center as a 7/11 and a cleaners. It's actually very funky and eclectic. The menu is super expanded, from breakfast burritos to teriyaki bowls...fried banana and chili cheese fries...not to mention the yummy donuts and milkshakes. This place is a win for sure. They also have a couple computers set up and free wi-fi. The atmosphere is chill and they play upbeat music, mostly stuff you hear on the radio today. Also, the owners are really nice, they treat you like old friends and sometimes hook you up. This is a cute little mom 'n pop place, in the oddest location, but with nice traffic visibility, smack dab on the corner on Sherman Way and Lindley, where you may have the pleasure to skip 7-11, in favor of something fresh. (nothing against 7-11, but choice is a part of the customer game) Last week was my third time there this year - any more times, I'd be fat as a house - their donuts are absolutely delicious! All three times they've been consistent with the quality of they yummy donuts and lattes. The interior is cozy and chill, definitely the Central Perk of the SFV (I know, I apologize for the lame, outdated Friends reference). The staff is darling, so welcoming and willing to joke-it-up with you, when you Frankenstein your way through placing your order (monster incoherence is my disability, until I have my first cup o' java in the morning). The eat 24 app is great so this review is solely based on the food and delivery. I placed my order at 10:45 through the eat 24 app. The estimated delivery time was between 45 minutes and 60 minutes, however we got our food a solid 2 hours after placing the order. Unfortunately they probably kept the food in their car for so long because the food was no longer warm in any way. I ordered some macaroons, fruit salad and a breakfast burrito with tater tots. The fruit salad tasted like refrigerator fruit, that is fruit that tastes like the inside of a refrigerator. There was kiwi, and im actually allergic to kiwi but apparently my note about my allergy didnt post so fair enough however, the kiwi was such an odd color, almost translucent. On to the tater tots! Dissapointment, they were soggy because i assume they spent some time in the delivery car. You may want to skip this place, they dont seem to care if your food shows up 2 hours after placing the order. read more

This was a Yelp failure for me. When we arrived, there was only one other person in the place. It took half an hour for us to get our drinks, and 50 MINUTES to get our food. I consider myself to be pretty patient but 50 minutes is definitely testing my limits. Not once did someone even come by our table to explain anything to us. The girl at the counter did say that they had a lot of delivery orders when I happened to catch her eye, but that was it. And I had seen several people come in, order, and get their to go orders while we sat there like chumps. At the very least, a "sorry about the wait" might've been nice when we got our food. Food itself was pretty decent. My short ribs were tasty, and my husband's steak was tender and well- seasoned. Not worth the wait though. Drinks were pretty terrible. The watermelon slush was that fake syrup that I loathe, and the mango tango tasted like it had been made with the world's most watery orange juice. Boba itself was tough and doughy tasting. In summary, if you want to go here, don't order a drink, and definitely get your food to go. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE! My boyfriend just tried to order here for us. We wanted two Philly cheese steak sandwiches, one side of fries, and one California sushi roll... They charged us $43 dollars and got our order wrong! They gave us and extra order of fries (each order comes with about 6 fries), gave us some shrimp plate instead of sushi, and way overcharged us...The shrimp wasn't even fully cleaned with gross black veins still, and the steak on the philly cheese was full of fat and gristle. When we tried to get the order and the total corrected by talking to the OWNER who had taken the order in the first place (!) all he did was give us a stale muffin and some green juice for free! I'm a college student on a budget and I'm so upset most of the money I had for food was just taken by this horrible place. IT'S A RIP OFF!! read more

I would like to leave a review for this place but unfortunately every time I come they are closed. I was really excited to try out some sushi and other items on their varied menu. According to their hours online they close briefly in the middle of the day and open up again at 6pm. That is not true. We waited outside for the better part of an hour and no one ever came. No matter what time I drive by I've never seen this place open. Hopefully the owners will realize that they're losing a lot of business and actually open up for once. read more

Amazing!! First ordered delivery for breakfast and it was so delicious! Second time we drove to the actual restaurant and it was amazing! The chef in the back came out with a big delicious steak and offered to cut it up for us. Our meals where so good and he didnt. He was so generous with the ingredients and even let us take something free from the freezer! Definitely a cool spot! My meal was under $15 and I got so much food and a delicious smoothie! read more

We went to this place because the reviews were good on Yelp and because it was close to our home. I arrived with my wife and daughter at about 9:30 A.M. for breakfast. We ordered a breakfast bagel and a breakfast croissant. We waited quite a while for our food. About 20 minutes later, our croissant arrived. We wanted to eat our food together, but our daughter was hungry so we started eating it slowly, hoping the rest of our food would soon arrive. The croissant was a little too greasy for our taste, but that was something we could overlook, since we were so hungry at the time. Things starting getting worse when 10 minutes later, our breakfast bagel had still not arrived and when re-looking at the menu, we realized we were supposed to receive sausage with our croissant. I went back and told the lady we were still missing our breakfast bagel and that we were missing the sausage for our croissant. At 10:15, 45 minutes after we arrived, our sausage for the croissant was still not provided and our breakfast bagel was still missing. The lady running the shop was less than apologetic. We eventually cancelled the rest of our order, got our money back for the bagel, and left the shop with only half a breakfast in our stomachs that was delivered to us in pieces, with scowls from the shop worker. The funny thing is, there were only 3 customers in the shop, so a place has to be pretty bad to get in the weeds, screw up orders, and drive away customers when there's only 3 to serve at the time. This is actually my first and only Yelp review. But I couldn't resist the need to spare other people the type of experience we received. If there were more honest postings like this on Yelp, I probably wouldn't have wasted my time and money at this place. Hopefully, for the sake of this establishment, they were just having a bad day and this is not the norm for them. But it was at least the experience that my family received this wonderful Saturday morning. read more

I found heaven. Do i need to say more? We had a breakfast bagel, BLT, and two coffees. Everything was amazing! My picky eater partner and child loved the food...these are the pickiest people I know. Terrible place. Menu is too large, items you receive are not fresh, it's canned food, or dried food. I ordered chicken soup with noodles, they gave me spaghetti! With broth, and a few pieces of chicken. Ordered pancakes with fresh fruit, received canned peaches in the middle of summer! Peaches and stone fruit is best during the summer, also cheapest during the summer. Why not fresh! Bacon was not crispy, the list goes on. Never going to this place again! Don't waste your money. My boyfriend and I found this place here on yelp so we can eat before class. Overall the food was really good and the people working there were super kind to us. They allowed us to customize our plates (I'm a picky eater) and made sure things were to our liking. The only slight problem I had was my French toast was a little soggy in the center but not enough to take away any stars. Such a great place!! The signage outside is a little confusing, but the food, ambiance and staff are AMAZING!! The prices are dirt cheap but the food is high quality. I don't know how they do it! I came here earlier today to get a breakfast burrito, I asked where the usual owner was and then the nice cashier told me he was on vacation and will be back soon. I waited for my burrito that was so great! I was very impressed that this young girl and gentlemen (cook) were running the shop without Paul. They were calm, collected, and very polite. Its such a nice atmosphere and the girl plays great music and is so nice! She makes the place come alive! The food was delicious and i strongly recommend it. They are a great team together with getting orders back and fourth they seem to pull it off. The owner must be so proud and confident he left the store in good hands. Highly recommend this place!!! The manager actually cares about the food that goes out for delivery. Our food was sooo good! The fries were still crispy and not soggy like other places, the fruit was fresh and a nice portion. I had the miso soup with white rice and an iced cappuccino. This is a hipster type of cafe. Got the breakfast wrap, it was very good, plenty of eggs, potatoes, onions, sausage, and bacon. It was pretty big for 5 dollars.
