Merle Norman in Patchogue is awesome! Very professional, courteous and friendly. I do have to say…read morethat on my last visit a woman came in and wanted to get her nails done without an appointment. Unfortunately there were no open spots as this location is very popular. The nail technician was very apologetic and was waiting for her next client to show up. The woman then said "well your sitting there doing nothing" and the tech responded " I'm waiting for my next client who is a little late but I would be happy to schedule in on another day" With that the woman was very belligerent and left. After all of that , the owner and staff remained professional and calm. Not a word was mentioned about this nasty customer after she left. Most places would bitch about that in front of clients but the ladies didn't! I recommend this place to everyone I know! Great people who do great work!

I have been here multiple times and seen associates removing products close to expiration, keeping only fresh items on the sales floor. They are higher priced than their competitors, which is a shortcoming. The pharmacy staff are very slow sometimes, but I think this is a staffing issue. It is faster to go inside than to go through the drive-thru, which you would think would be the opposite.

When I got to the register none of the prices came up right neither one of the deals stated on the Display ( in pic ) were working the manager Alicia was called over to ask her. She was extremely rude from the very start. Rolled her eyes at me more than one time because it was Christmas clearance item that stated by two get one free good until today dec 28 and the other deal stated but 4 get one free. She blatantly said to me over and over about it's just a old xmiss item. Like I can deal with it. She didn't want to fix it at all. Then proceeded to get nasty to the young gentlemen on register and tell him to go rip down the stickers that's state buy two get one free. I did tell her I didn't like the way she was talking to him it was not his fault. Her response to me is I'm not being nasty I'm telling him what he can go and do you're telling him to pull down stickers that are good until the end of the day because you don't want to deal with giving me the discount. Said then proceeded to tell me she would call her manager she walked down one part of the store and back up the next one where my daughter was standing laughing with one of the other employees as she walked over to me and said no he won't do that for you and if you have a problem you can call him on Monday. So I stated that's fine but the deal will be over on Monday because it ends today so he can then tell me that it will not work because it's no longer going on not a problem. It was not about saving a couple of dollars it was not about getting more what I didn't like is the way she spoke down to me and the way she treated the gentleman at the register. I sat there for a minute walked around the store and got my daughter I came back and I bought all the Items but one that was in my pile and the gentleman behind the register looked at me kind of strange and laughed and I said to him it was not about the money it was about the way that I am treated I am in customer service for 20 years and I don't ever speak to anybody or give them any kind of disrespect whatsoever yes I was looking for a good deal yes I was trying to spend the least amount of $ But when I showed her the picture of both deals on the display all she had to do was nicely say to me I'm sorry but only one or the other will work for this item she didn't need to try to belittle me.

I have gone to other Sally's and they have have had low stock in certain shades, likely due to popularity. The employee who greeted me was cheerful and friendly. Since I have done all this before (I have been unsuccessful so far in finding someone locally whom I can trust not to eff up my hair), I didn't need help or advice. They don't carry IC anymore, which makes me sad, but they had another brand of heat protection. It was double the price of IC, but oh well. I did get extra color for future use, so it wasn't an inexpensive trip, but I am all set for the time being. A most productive trip. While tubes of color and bottles of developer require more effort than box kits, the results are often better. I mix two or sometimes three shades to get exactly what I want. Sally's allows me to do that easily.

With malpractice suits so common, what doctor wants to follow up another's work (especially from Florida where doctors with tons of suits flee to because the laws there are great for deadbeats). Too much potential liability. Doug S. Also, what's the surprise. Medicine is a business. You could have asked them the cost and paid cash or put it on your Visa and been treated, but considering the cost of most treatment today no doctors will accept a patient without knowing they'll be paid. I transferred to this doctor because my previous dermatologist would always freeze off the non-cancerous little moles on my face, but otherwise I wasn't 100% satisfied with how thorough their examination was. Also because this office is closer to my home. Last year I had an extremely bad MERCER infection. I called and they got me right in at their Pt. Jeff office. They put me on antibiotics which didn't work, and I ended up going to the hospital and getting 3 days of IV antibiotics which did the job. When I questioned whether Dr. Klien had given me the wrong antibiotics I was told that they correctly diagnosed the infection as being MERCER (resistant to standard antibiotic treatment) and had given me the exactly right medication, but that the infection was too advanced and needed IV treatment. So, although my first course didn't work they had diagnosed my situation correctly and treated it according to protocol. I'm sure had I gone back for my follow up visit they would have admitted me, but it went to crisis stage on a Saturday night and I went to the ER instead of waiting for my appointment. All of my annual exams have been thorough, and I've always been in and out with a minimum of time spent waiting. I would definitely recommend this practice.

I came here today for the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine…read more Roughly 30 seconds after receiving it, I felt light headed. A staff member, who said that he was also an EMT, took my vitals. My pulse was racing at 160. My blood pressure skyrocketed to 182/111. The young man also gave me a small bottle of water, which did not help. My vitals did not stabilize. He, nor the pharmacist who administered the vaccine were equipped, to help me. They did little for me. The young man said that he has an EpiPen but that my symptoms did not require use of one. Lastly, he did not even given me a glucose tablet when I asked for one. I thought my blood sugar was also low. I thought that I was going to die and called my next of kin. Thank goodness I had my phone with me. Staff called an ambulance, which came in about 10 minutes. The crew wheeled me out of the store in a stretcher and said that I likely have vasovagal syncope, which is a rare adverse reaction to the vaccination. The MD at LI Community did not formally diagnose me with that. Dr M. merely said that I had a "fast heart rate and racing pulse" in response to the Pfizer vaccine. An RN administered IV fluids and continuously monitored my vitals. Staff also gave me an EKG and withdrew some blood for testing. I spent four hours in the ER before my vitals stabilized. Lesson learned: ONLY GO TO A VACCINATION SITE THAT HAS AN EMS, AMBULANCE AND MEDICAL STAFF ON PREMISES. Google research indicates that Pharmacy staff is not equipped to handle severe reactions to any vaccine. I should have done my due diligence before I selected Walgreens as my vaccination site. Addendum: The pharmacist, Jenny, did call me the next day to check my status. She also informed me that she will be reporting this incident to VAERS, as required by Federal law.
