I shop at Target because it's close to my house and a much neater store than Walmart. Lately they have been under construction and I'm unable to find and locate the items I usually come here for, but I'm hoping the face lift will help to improve things eventually. The pharmacy has always been wonderful, the cashiers are not bad. My main issue is with the food counter kid. I have never met such a rude and narcissistic kid before. He is never nice and completely full of himself whenever I stop by here. When I see that he's working I make it a point to not even bother, but the last two times were kind of unavoidable unfortunately. During the first incidence with this kid, I walked up to the register and he pretended not to see me. I had to say hi, excuse me, are you open? He told me he was but it's not his responsibility and several of his employees didn't come in but he usually does everything anyway so he guesses that's why they were ok leaving him alone. Strange. I said sorry to hear, I've been there. Do you happen to have any pizzas in the back and he told me that he hasn't had time to make any. We are talking 1 pm on a Saturday prime lunch time. Was I confused? Pretty much. I then asked for a small drink and he handed me a kids cup. I said wow that's pretty small lol and said well you asked for a small and rolled his eyes. Just not a friendly kid. On my last visit he was more concerned with talking to his friend at the register than helping me. His friend seemed like a nice girl, not sure why she's talking to him. She offered to let him help me and he actually kept talking to her. He went to ring my pizza up and he asked if that would be all and I mentioned I would like a drink as well. He said "soda machines still out, I ordered a new one a few months ago". I said never knew it was out to begin with. I'm supposed to know this? So I asked if they had any other drinks, he pointed to a fridge and said "we do and take your time". At the end of the transaction he was still chatting with his friend and I had to ask him for a receipt. I don't think he's good for your new look target and you might want to consider who you are having work the counter at the exit of your store. Think about it. Someone has a fine shopping experience the entire time they are in your store and then they are met with him at the end of the experience. It might leave a bad taste in some peoples mouths, it certainly did with me. Something to consider. read more
