I had furniture delivered in July 2021. I bought a leather living room set, and a new bedroom set…read more I paid in full over $8000.00. On August 12th, I received an email from Guardian Protection Insurance that contained my protection policy for my for my furniture that cost $399. I do not recall agreeing to this insurance or even speaking about it. As I read through the policy everything that is stated as "covered" incidents is also listed under "exclusions" meaning it wouldn't be covered. The exclusion list is longer than the covered list. Within the email it says I have 30 days from receipt of the policy to cancel. I call the insurance company they say the store has to refund me, I call the store and they tell me it's not refundable. I told them I do not recall speaking about this insurance and I don't recall it being on my paperwork ( I'm still looking for my paperwork to check). Either way, someone is going to give me back the $399 that was either added without discussion or after the fact, and clearly states is able to be canceled. Check your paperwork this is a shady thing to do when you are already paying thousands on furniture. Also the delivery people were slobs!! They left packing materials all over the bedroom floor. My sister is blind she could have hurt herself. When I went outside the next morning they left plastic and styrofoam pieces all over the lawn outside my condo. It looked like snow.

I requested to have my bill decreased & he said "no, he cannot do that".I am a widow on a fixed income and felt taken advantage of that he expects me to repair all the damage his movers caused to my home that he should be responsible to repair. Very unprofessional, and he is the manager who should be working with the customers to resolve the issue , not taking full responsibility of his movers mistakes. I would love to show pictures of the damage but I'm unable to get them on but will try my best. I'm giving all a heads up to somewhere else or take the chance ... I filed a complaint to the BBB..
