I found furniture bazaar because they were one of only 2 stores on Long Island that could order a very specific chair I wanted. When I went to the store I met Raj who was extremely helpful and very down to earth. I live in Massapequa right near the 20+ furniture stores on rt 110. I had the opportunity to shop several stores right by my house but then decided to contact Raj again. He is able to order ALL of the same exact furniture that the big stores can get and his pricing was absolutely better. 100% worth the 45 minute ride for me to work with him. However, we were very wrong. they had amazing suggestions and they made sure to get everything delivered in a timely matter! We haven't gotten our furniture yet, but our experience here was great. We even drove to their other location 15 min. away to see and touch some of the couches that weren't on display in the Patchogue store. They were helpful, attentive, yet gave us the space to make decisions and just relax on the furniture before buying. The customer service and prices are excellent. Customer service here is stellar!! The purchase/financing process for my new couch was extremely easy and it was delivered on time. I then had a major issue when I got the couch to my place and saw it wouldn't fit down my apartment stairs no matter what. The owner Raj drove over from the store to take a look at the situation himself, and immediately called a company to disassemble the piece on sight and was able to get them to come in less than 24 hours. He also let me store the couch back at his place overnight because I don't have garage access here. This Family owned businesses should be the standard by which all businesses should operate !! My family and I had some business to take care of so we met for breakfast at Georges Luncheonette in Patchogue on Montauk Hwy. which is in a nice little strip of stores, to take care of some arrangements for an upcoming family affair. After we had breakfast we were talking outside of George's,and as we were saying our goodbyes, my 3yr old nephew Jack (the most adorable little MAN!) who is 3 going on 18. Noticed a child size recliner in the window of Furniture Bazaar, which there were several different character versions of. He was so excited about basically all 5 or 6 character versions.So he decided to go in the store with his aunts and uncle and ask the owner, who could not have been any kinder!! If he could sit in the chair of his liking with a particular cartoon character on it, Raj the owner could not have been happier to take the chair out of the window (which wasn't an easy task, but as were saying he didn't have to do that, Without any issue at all, actually with a huge smile!! Raj set the chair on the floor and told Jack to sit in it and Enjoy himself!!! The look and excitement on my nephews face was priceless and heartwarming. But the look on Raj and his wife's face was just as heartwarming. For Jack to be sitting in what was in Jacks world, his new THRONE. We couldn't thank both Raj and his wife enough for making Jacks day by doing that for him and that my brother and sister in law were interested in purchasing that particular chair, now that they know he Loves it, from Furniture Bazaar for him for Christmas. Raj's wife whispered in Raj's ear with a huge smile they both said Please don't leave yet we want to do something special for Jack and they told Jack that the chair was his to KEEP!!! Excuse us?!! Well, without taking no for an answer, both Raj and his wife were So Excited to have made Jacks Year!!! By sending this little (big man) home with what was his DREAM CHAIR!! To park next to his Mother and Fathers recliners to make him the new MAN OF THE HOUSE!!! My Whole Family and myself were so taken back by the KINDNESS of Raj and his Awesome Wife. We didn't know how or what to say, Thank You SO SO MUCH!!! My brother, Jacks Father tried giving Raj $ for the chair, but he and his wife made it very clear that the look and Huge Smile on that kids face, was their pay for the chair. We tried to no avail to give them $. But it was a little kids smile and Excitement that helped them make their decision to give him his favorite chair(throne) in their store. Again we were not there to shop,but just passing by in conversation and this was how our day started off on a Sunday AM. After reading all the 5 star reviews posted about Furniture Bazaar, I am not at all Surprised to read about such Great remarks about this Awesome Couple and their local Family Business!!! Their store is impeccable, and their professionalism is beyond that of any business my That my family and I have ever stepped foot in!! Just stop by and say Hello to Raj and his wife( of who I forgot to get her name I apologize) I GUARANTEE that they will make you feel like your the ONLY CUSTOMER they have while they help you shop for what appeared to be some very classy and comfort furniture (we tested out the goods)for your home. If they don't have it they will get it for you in a very considerable time frame.
