Perhaps the most amazing thing about this place is the fact that I walked in knowing very little…read moreabout anything that I was looking at, and left wanting most of it. Located at the end of one of the hallways in the lower level of the old post office, this place is totally magic and will convince you that you need two or three ovens in your kitchen and a gigantic refrigerator that matches the wall decor! Full disclosure, we were going here to drool at the ovens more than anything, however we came out with a good understanding of why the brand does what they do, and many of the things they offer. We learn that everything is a standard size, 24 or 30 inches across, so that you can interchange many of the items. It makes sense, was just something we never heard before. The breath of offerings they have is pretty incredible and the gal who helped us kama Sara, was very knowledgeable. A lot of the stuff does the selling by itself, but she definitely knew the high points to hit and was super low key about it. It was nice to feel like she was just telling us about it rather than selling it to us. The full kitchen and full bar set ups were quite impressive, and apparently they have monthly cooking demonstrations where someone will actually make you food on the item you are looking to purchase. Pretty sweet deal in our opinions. The most impressive thing we saw was the steam convection oven, which reports to be able to cook phyllo dough wrapped ice cream without melting the ice cream. If we'd actually seen that in person I may have just bought it there and tried to install it in my car. The informational stuff that they have available was very good for planning purposes and the set up here is very conducive to actually seeing what things look like in a variety of different kitchen layouts. Great store to browse, especially when the kids are at home with Grandma!

What a spectacular find!…read more Like most things in Chinatown, you have to work your way through this place...and who's to say if the EXACT item you need will be here after hunting several very tall aisles. The lady in charge when I went didn't know specifically what they had, but instantly knew what it cost when she saw it! In my case, as well as any owner of a Pyrex 9x13 baking pan, this trip was a major score. They have a $6 10x18 pan grate that fits snugly secured to the handles of the pan so you can roast meats as drippings fall 2" into the Pyrex. Also, the same "Winco" brand has a grate which fits inside the same glass Pyrex pan. If you want to elevate a small roast inside the 9x13, this $4 grate fits perfectly too. This stuff isn't easily found...just saying.

Sure, they have crazy commercial stainless coolers, freezers, ranges and sandwich prep tables for restaurants, but they also have knives, pots, ... at far more reasonable prices. They don't always have exactly what you want in stock, but they're happy to order it for you...or, once your in the neighborhood, there are a few other alternatives around too (C.S. Fixtures, Northwestern Cutlery, ...). Don't expect to find big home appliance name brands here (like Kitchen Aid), but do expect to find either a commercial quality version at a similar price, or a cheaper alternative at a way cheaper price. Things like cute napkin dispensers, pancake syrup dispensers, half-sheet baking pans, etc., this place has a lot of that kind of product. I love it! Yeah, I found a few items here and there that were maybe a little on the pricier side - so I won't get those. But I look at it as a treasure hunt - so much fun to see what I will find next!

BEYONG NIGHTMARE!!!!!!…read more STEAL my card information and CHARGE without telling! DAMAGED our caninet, hard wood floor, wood stairs, wood trim, ceiling and carpet in the basement! I received the text massage from my credit card company for CS cabinet charge at this morning. They illegally charged me without any telling and authorization. Obviously, they illegally keep my credit card information for the front payment. Jenny said they won't keep the card information which is a lie. I think this can call a steal! They will keep your card information and charge anytime, or even steal anytime anywhere who knows. 1. The first time installation: the island granite around sink has crake. They took away everything back. They also scratched my wood stairs. (There is a wheel cart for carrying granite.) One scratch is so deep. They dismantled our dishwasher drain pipe without restore and telling. There is a flood when I used the dishwasher. Our wood floor, basement ceiling, cabinet, basement carpet are damaged by dirty water. Especially our wood floor is bowed badly. Our solid wood floor worth over ten thousands dollars. 2. The second time installation: they showed up with two pieces with couple saw cuts and filler in something to cover the cuts. The other two pieces are not even the color I choose. The island granite still has crack like the first time. And they damaged my cabinet on the corner and a wood trim. 3. The third time installation: they finally showed up with the right pieces without cracks, cuts, and the type granite what I choose. There are couple damaged on my cabinets again. They said will give me one hundred and eighty dollars for repairing the stair after first installation. They didn't give me! They said will repair my cabinet which never happened. They said will talk about floor damage after installation never happened too. I agreed with their estimation price and I didn't receive any discount. They charged me twice for front payment. I over paid them already. What I received horrible experience definitely won't fly. Right now I am looking at all the damages what they did in my new house. I am going to sue this company to justice.
