This is a place for locals but a hidden gem for tourists. Good service. Great music playing. Live music sometimes. Cannot split checks there. No host to seat us but the place was small enough it didn't matter... the waiter was five stars! He was very attentive. The vibe is laid back and it has the rustic Valle de Guadalupe ambiance without having to drive 60 minutes to the wineries in the Valle! It was the end of winter so outdoor seating was not a good option for me. When weather permits outdoor seating will be a must. The indoor seating is casual, quaint and comfortable.
We had paella . It was really good. Most places are off the mark when it comes to this dish but they got it right!
This place is about an hour from TJ border crossing and right off the freeway when headed towards Ensenada. You cannot see it from the freeway. It's a little tricky to find but worth the effort. read more
