Due to…read moresome bad luck, our car broke down in the mountains and we decided to tow it back to Calgary rather than Canmore... the tow truck driver suggested Cochrane to minimize the distance, so I looked up this place and we decided to try it based on a good review. Normally I'm pretty cynical when it comes to mechanics, because I've had my share of issues with them, but the mechanic we dealt with deserves some kind of award for great service. Not just for a mechanic, but by any standard. He proved that he had exceptional troubleshooting ability with our car, and he was extremely patient in taking the time to explain to us (on the phone and in person) the nature of the problem, what he felt needed to be done, and why. Would I recommend this shop? Well, let me put it this way... we live in the SE of Calgary, but the next time I need major work done we'll be headed back out to Cochrane.

Have been to this location a couple of times lately, and will not go again. When finally asking what I needed, his GAF was so low and rude and unwilling to look for a solution I just left. Last time I stopped in looking for a quick tire rotation. That's it. Even though 4/5 bays were sitting empty he said I would have to make an appointment and come back another time. Drove over to OK Tire and they did it in 15 minutes. We were charge $140 to tell us what I already know was wrong as was explained on drop off They changed the oil without consent and charged us. Upon fluid check after pick up, 3 liters had to be drained due to OVER FILL. (that will KILL an engine) The control arms were not installed to spec alignment and had to be readjusted The known leak on the transmission line was agreed to for replacement, in addition to a transmission seal. fluid level was 1 liter LOW when checked after pickup. When picked up the owner said he would give a discount on future work because of his admitted errors .. I would never deal with this company again nor should anyone who cares about their vehicle.

I would recommend them because although this wasn't a full tire job, like buying a new set and having them put on, but they didn't make us feel lesser for having this piece work done. We purchased and had our winter tires installed here. We did not realize when we picked up the…read morevehicle that our all season tires were not in the vehicle. When we contacted the business, they advised us they 'got rid' of two of the tires and would try to locate the other two. We recovered one tire of use. I was mostly upset they did not call to consult before making the decision to get rid of the other tires, our property. We were not offered any incentive to purchase our now needed all season tires from them next time. Don't go here!
