My husband and son went to Cocco's today. They ordered two slices of pizza and a salad. After waiting 30 minutes when my husband went to the counter and asked what was taking so long, he was told that the waitress had forgotten to put in the order - apparently the staff had realized this but hadn't told him. Instead of apologizing, the person in the kitchen yelled at him and told him to leave. We've been eating at Cocco's in Alden for years and I can't believe they think it's appropriate to yell at customers when they mess up an order. This is a great place to bring the kids...as long as they're ok with waiting a little while. There is only one waitress and service can be painstakingly slow. There's ton to look at here, so the kids are usually just fine. Pizza is good - hand tossed, sauce is kind of sweet. Their toppings aren't great (frozen veggies) so we always stick with either plain or white with spinach. Sandwiches are good - the husband likes the cheesesteaks, I like the ciabbata sandwiches. Tuna is yummy, as is the pesto mozzarella melt. It's cheap...we typically get out of there for less for $20 and that's with 2 kids in tow. My husband and I come here frequently, due to the fact that the laundromat is right next door. I LOVE the employees that work here. They are super friendly and aren't afraid to joke around with you and be silly. They are all genuine people and give you the best service, without trying too hard. Just recently started ordering from here because I was just diagnosed with a wheat allergy and they have gluten free pizza! Have had pepperoni and buffalo chicken so far and they're both delicious! Good pizza and friendly staff. We usually just get slices or a pie to go but one time we sat down in there and had dinner. There was a hard piece of oregano on my pizza that I bite, I wasn't too concerned but I mentioned it to the waitress and she took it back to check with the cook. She confirmed my thoughts that it was just was large hard piece of oregano. She gave my our bill and told me she did not charge me for that slice when I didn't expect or even ask for her to take it off. Its only a few bucks but it was nice of her so I tipped 100% which still isn't much because our bill was only $20 lol but all in all it is a good place and I would recommend them. read more

Finally, someone who gets it! It's about the customers, and Cocco's knows it! The pizza is a family favorite. The cheese steaks are fantastic. Everything else on the menu... I'm not really sure because the pizza and cheese steaks are too good and I can't order anything else. It's always great when I'm doing atkins that they'll make a cheese steak salad on just a bed of shredded lettuce. A lot of places can't figure out what a Cheese steak Salad is and will usually spend 10 minutes asking me questions about how to make it. O.o I swear to God, I'm going to get the Cheese Steak Salad put on the menu one of these days! I may be the only one to order it, but it belongs on the menu! We'll call it the "Crazy Bill Crazy Salad with Crazy no bread Cheese Steak." Cocco's seems to be a great place... we just moved to the area and were looking for a pizza joint that's a go-to place for us thats close by. i think we found it! we walked in to order, and only waited a short while (though there werent any chairs to sit in to wait.... the dining room was being cleaned and off limits). while waiting i read a plaque on the wall talking about Cocco Day! it seems that the owner is quite the standout citizen in the community. it really made me feel good to support a business that supports its community. so far i have only tried a few items on the menu, but i wasnt disappointed. the pizza had a lovely crust and was cooked to perfection. i also ordered a hot sandwich that was delicious as well and the perfect size for me. keep up the good work, i'll be back. read more

Coco's has amazing pizza! I love this place! Having been to Italy, I am insanely picky about my pizza. Coco's doesn't disappoint in flavor or service. They have a lot on their menu, but I am definitely guilty of keeping in it classic and sticking to pizza. My brother loves their wings and cheesecakes though. Coco's is well worth a trip out to Primos if you are in the Philly area. I am constantly recommending this place to my friends, and now, to fellow Yelpers. Two huge thumbs up for Coco's! read more

I have been eating at this location off an on for about 8 years now. I hate to say it but I recently noticed a change in there food. The last 2 times I ordered a cheesesteak and fries it just wasnt as good. It seems like they may have changed there meat and french fry supplier. The steaks arent as juicy and the fries are now cut smaller. The fries also have an aftertaste to them. I cant put my finger on this aftertaste but its defiantly there. I wouldnt recommend the cheesesteak or fries. As far as the pizza goes its just ok...... Also, the place could use a good scrubbing and a better exhaust system. It has a strong grease smell that is really noticeable when you sit and eat in the dining area. I do realize that all dining establishments have a food smell. But the smell is kinda strong here which usually means a good cleaning of the restaurant is needed. read more

Delicious gluten free pizza. We order topped with broccoli. We have been ordering gf for over a year and have never gotten sick from cross contamination. We visit at least 2 times a month. Being still relatively new to the area this was my first time having Coco's Pizza though I get the idea they're a popular local chain. I can understand why. The food was great and the prices were fair. That would have given it a solid 3 stars but the atmosphere bumped it to 4. I'm not sure what the other shops are like but this one has all kinds of Coca Cola products decorating the place as well as a train set doing rounds in the dining area. My 7 year old loved it and it did provide some amusement while waiting for the food. Overall I'm glad we went and will probably go again some time. read more

Absolutely love everything at this Cocco's location. They have fantastic pizza and amazing cheesesteaks! When I moved to the area a few years ago, I desperately needed to find that "go to" pizza place since I didn't know what was around. I tried a few places but none really reminded me of what I was used to or expected since I came over from south jersey. Well, once I tried Cocco's, I became a diehard fan of their food! The only drawback, and I say this extremely lightly, is that they don't deliver orders to Philadelphia and being right within city limits and a minute from the Delco border, they don't come out to where I live. However, the 10 minute ride to pick it up isn't really an issue and totally worth it every time. I probably order something from them once a week and haven't been disappointed yet. Also their large size cheesesteaks are enough for 2 people to share or just save the other half. Highly recommend! And one last thing, they do provide catering orders...I placed one with them on EZCater and they have great prices to feed large amounts of people. read more

A solid meh. We tried to go to Cedar Craft & Kitchen but they were closed for a private party, so we ended up here. The broccoli pizza was average: bready crust, fine but not good cheese, too-sweet sauce. Perhaps pepperoni would have masked the failings, but I really wanted veggies. The meatball stromboli was better, but I'm not sure I'd make a trip back for it. We also got some gelato to go, and it was terrible. So many ice crystals, and it tasted like frosting. I got a tuna salad from here and for $8.25 (not including tax) I got lettuce, tomato the smallest Roma tomato cut up and tuna. It's ridiculous that they price their salads this way when there are no additional toppings with the exception of onions and croutons. No olives, green peppers, carrots, egg...? Quick delivery, good pizza, pretty large menu and the quick delivery keeps the food fresh when you get it no soggy fries etc... The buffalo wing sauce is unique here not really for us but at least they try their own thing you might like it, we prefer Drexel Hill Pizza for wings but Coco's for pizza. read more

I have been going here for years seriously years I can honestly say this place has gone down hill. Michael is a great guy back in the 80's and 90's this was the place to go I ordered from here at least three times a week. For years his wife used to make homemade ice tea! I came here just for that alone, pizza and steaks were the best around when he started making his own bread it was the best! There isn't a place in Clifton Heights that has good pizza...this place included. The pizza was burnt and the lack of sauce made the pizza bland. The salad was inadequate for an 8 dollar salad. Both times that I went, not one person acknowledged that I was there. This place is Amaemae. I love how the crusts are super doughy and the location is amazing. You can eat, and then go to the super market across the street. The little train going around is adorbs. OMG! It's a classic pizzaria with a beautiful marble floor. read more

I order from here ALL the time. I get the same things Every time. Tonight I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad but there was no chicken on it when I brought it home. How do you mess that up??? The ignorant little boy that answered the phone when I called back just as you guys were closing had an attitude which I could understand you guys want to go home but its not my fault you messed up the order and I didn't get what I PAID for, He offered to bring another one but slammed the phone IN MY EAR before I could ask him if I could just get a credit or something toward the next order. SO I waited for someone to bring another one and of course they don't show up!
