So many choices, but their Facebook posts convinced me the try the Cupcake of the Month. Each month they have a creative cupcake featured that you must try. Staffer wasn't happy - to have to do something? After a cursory swipe of the middle of the table, I had to hand clean the crumby seat myself and once sat, I noticed a dried mess of crusty food stuck to the top edge of the table exactly in front of me. Gross. I tried to catch the eye of the server now chatting with the cashier. I couldn't put my e-reader or my hands on the table until the cashier came to deliver my sandwich and drink. I showed her the mess and asked for another clean. A now visibly annoyed first staffer re-appeared with a napkin and did another cursory sweep of middle of the table. I picked up my plate but she was already walking away. I had to point it out. Huffing and saying she couldn't clean it because my dish was in the way (????). I lifted it even higher for her. She then had to go get a wet cloth to remove the stuck on guck. Gross. She then said I could have sat in the other chair. She promptly returned to the first server, clearly complaining about the b*tch (me) and my unreasonable demands and for the rest of my time there I got the stink eye from her. The thing is... not only was she uninterested in working, she was uninterested in CLEANING. This makes me suspect what else is unclean. Can't return. She had an accent - Aussie of Kiwi, potentially South African. She really shouldn't be working in food service. And, I'm peeved I pre-tipped 25%.
