I had a great lunch here! The French onion soup is delicious with a great cheese pull! Very tasty broth and a wonderful block of cheese on top.See picture. I ordered a patty melt with a side salad and my friend got the fried calamari. The patty melt was buttery and delicious on crispy whole wheat toast, perfectly cooked medium rare. The calamari was lightly fried and tender. Our server was really fast and efficient. We will be back!

Before the other night, I had not been to Cobble Stone in years - probably not since 2014 when Baby Yelper Jason wrote his initial review. I don't work too far from here, so when my parents called me at work asking if I wanted to join them for dinner, I jumped at the opportunity to rediscover this place. I used to frequent Cobble Stone back in the day when my brother was a student at SUNY Purchase - from what I can gather it's a hangout for the college crowd but also a spot for locals. The aesthetic is old school pub - it's really no frills with a mostly wooden interior and a casual aesthetic. The staff here usually perform all tasks - waiting, bussing, and hosting. After we were seated, we were given physical menus but I noticed QR codes on the tables as well. There were also instructions on how to connect to the in-house wifi which I was pleasantly surprised to see. I remember one of my gripes with Cobble Stone was that cell service was non-existent, but I assume they needed to install wifi so that patrons can connect and view the online menu. Speaking of the menu, they have a wide selection - classic dishes, sandwiches, salads, and apps were all present. Solid offerings - nothing too out of the ordinary but enough to make it interesting. I started with the French Onion which was tasty - big onion flavor and just the right amount of cheese on top. I was feeling a wrap, so I went with the shrimp poboy. It was quite good - lots of shrimp with lettuce, cabbage, aioli, and bacon that provided good contrast. The fries it came with were nothing outstanding but good nonetheless. Overall, I enjoyed my rediscovery of Cobble Stone. The upgraded technology, combined with the solid food offerings and causal interior makes it an ideal go-to spot in Purchase.

Both the food and service is consistent and has been going for a number of years. French onion soup is a fan favorite.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth, and the service remains attentive without being overbearing. The chips are crisp and the salsa is bright and flavorful, making the starter rounds feel special. Every single food item was fresh and made house you could feel the difference in taste. Entrees shine: the carne asada is tender and well-seasoned, and the vegetarian options are genuinely satisfying. Portions are generous, with comforting sides of rice and beans that pair well with any main. Desserts, especially a light tres leches, finish the meal nicely, and the drink menu, margaritas and mocktails strikes a nice balance of citrus and sweetness. The ambiance stays lively without being loud, making it a great pick for casual get-together. If you're in Westchester and craving authentic Mexican flavors with consistent quality and friendly service, La Casa is a top choice.

We somehow had several waiters, but no one to help. When they gave us 3 orders of ice cream for a table of 6 with no spoons. When we asked for spoons we got an annoyed look and a "well how many?" They forgot 3 meals for our kids. When we asked they said "well did you order them". The whole table heard us order them. They never comped anything or offered anything as an apology, just asked if we still wanted the meals. We had to track down waiters for drinks, to order dessert, and the check. Icing on the cake was my handicapped mom having to climb the 3 flights of stairs to the bathroom because there's no bathroom on the first floor, which I'm pretty sure is not ADA compliant.

The ambiance is top notch, especially on a busy Friday night. Packed to the gills with some of the most beautiful people living in and around White Plains, it is a treat to come here when everything else has already closed and the party. must. go. on! :-) However, I do have one bone to pick. The bouncer stationed at the front is extremely and suddenly rude. I was shocked last night by this experience. At first, I was let in just fine, told that I just needed to "sheath" my bluetooth speaker that I usually use to provide my own musical ambiance when traveling up and down Mamaroneck Avenue. I walked around inside unscathed, was even so lucky as to catch the eye of a few beautiful ladies- lucky me. I stepped outside to catch a breath - so packed inside - and saw one of those same ladies inside through the glass window. We made momentary eye contact, and I was going to re-enter to chat with her, when the bouncer appeared out of nowhere and told me, rudely, to leave at once. That he had had "too many complaints about me". I truly had done nothing to receive this treatment. I hadn't had a drink all night, I was dressed exquisitely, and I'm an above average dancer. And yet, when I told him I had done nothing, his response was "LEAVE. NOW." I mean, WTF? Other than that, it is great there. I might go back one day if that bouncer receives an attitude adjustment. But until then, I'll steer clear and spend my time at Cantina, whose doorman is MUCH nicer to the clientele and is much less likely to be on some substance when allowing people in the door.

The flavor is a nice sweet and mild spicy combo on the sticky, saucy side. It's a fun switch up from traditional flavors. I just wish they had a little more crisp to them. Drinks, atmosphere, and energy are really what make this place. Food is good enough to enjoy while you're there, just don't go in expecting top tier wings. Overall, a fun spot to hang out.

Let me start by saying this--I knew I was in the right place the moment I asked for ice in my water…read more(because listen... room temp water is not the vibe ) and they didn't look at me like I committed a crime. Smooth start. Now let's talk food... because Brazen Fox hit the mark. First up, the fried pickles--super crispy, hot, and coated in a beautiful, crunchy batter that had my wife and I questioning life choices for not ordering two plates. Like, who gave these pickles permission to be this crispy and this good? Then came the star of the show--the buffalo chicken wonton tacos!! Listen... these were my FAVORITE. Crispy buffalo chicken, perfectly tucked into a AMAZINGLY CRISPY AND TASTY wonton shell, with that blue cheese bringing it all together like a family reunion that actually gets along. Simple presentation, BIG flavor. The chicken shawarma stepped in real smooth too--tender chicken thighs, jalapeño cilantro sauce, tzatziki, and charred naan bread (I think it was really pita bread). The fresh tomato cucumber salad, I'd say, was the star on that plate. It was giving "I know what I'm doing" energy. Every bite hit. And let's not forget the steak frites--because yes, the steak was great, and I love steak! Cooked right, flavorful, and paired with a peppercorn sauce and hand-cut fries that made me pause mid-bite just to nod in approval like a food critic on TV. Now the vibe... this place has that old-time upscale pub feeling, a classy modern-day ragtime feel with huge wrap around bar and televisions placed on the walls in a way that is not overwhelming and doesn't interrupt the old-time era feeling. Comfortable, polished, stylish, and just a great place to sit back, eat good, and enjoy yourself. All in, about $135 after tip--and honestly, worth it for the experience, the flavors, and the fact that I'm still thinking about those tacos. Brazen Fox... yeah, I'll be back. Probably sooner than I should be.
