When I asked questions regarding to specific details, most of the people I talked to at the other cabinet places could not answer. Advance was the fifth cabinet place I visited. I talked to Patrick on my first visit. He is very knowledgeable and quick in thinking. He caught some of the mistake in our floor plan, and explain why certain things have to be added to the order. I had problem finalizing the color. Patrick helped us on that as well. When we finalize the plan, the price is lower than all the other estimates I received. The cabinets and the quartz were delivered without any problem. They look exactly as I imaged after they are installed. Everything fitted perfectly. We ended up at advance cabinet halfway through our house renovation project when we had already placed an order for kitchen cabinets but were still hunting for everything else. Store is not large but among the selection they had they managed to tick all the boxes for me. I wanted solid wood, non white option and advance had these beautiful natural solid wood cabinets. I got excited and quickly placed an order for both our bathrooms. We had worked with Patrick, he is easily the smartest person we had come across over the course of our remodel hunt. He had renderings drawn up in a few minutes and provided unbiased feedback. We were meanwhile also trying to design our tv wall. We got quotes in the upwards of 20k for just that wall and I knew I didn't want to spend so much. Then an idea struck me, why not use the cabinets from advance which are typically meant for bathrooms and kitchens in this area as well? With some careful planning I knew I could make this work but needed validation. We ended up at advance again and shared the idea with Patrick and within a few minutes and in less than 3k we got cabinets for the tv wall. This was not a $20k or 30k job - it was much bigger. So we had to be absolutely sure of the craftsmanship, the customer service, and more. It had to be fully custom and absolutely world class quality to fit the quality of the home and kitchen remodel. Summary - they delivered beyond my absurdly high expectations. From the very start, my designer had a good feeling about Mike - he was very upfront and transparent, and his whole team was full of nice people. Shelly is very responsive and helpful even with the basic things - you can tell right away they care a lot about attention to detail and to customer service. We hired Mike over 5 others we considered, and he was the most expensive bid actually (not by too much, by about 5% more than the 2nd highest and about 10% more than the lowest). Hiring Dickinson Cabinetry proved to be one of the very best decisions we made in our 1 year long remodel. In the middle of supply chain issues and Covid, Mike was always honest about the timeline. It was a bit longer than I would have liked but that was no fault of Mike's - everything was delayed. But Mike was honest and helpful and level headed about it all. Then came the product and install date. Mike's team, led by Raul, came by for delivery right on time in the morning and let me just tell you - the QUALITY of these cabinets and the wood island is absolutely obvious. The craftsmanship is superb. If you know nothing about cabinets, even then it's obvious. That's the great thing about great things - everyone can tell it's great! Now here is where it starts to get really amazing. We had a few issues and changes requested. Joe was the man here - he was super helpful along with being such a nice guy. He never got annoyed at my small requests and it was clear Joe & Mike wanted my family to be 110% happy. Antonio came by to do touch up work and is a very patient and talented guy. He must have come back 4 times - each time with a smile on his face and endless patience to get it perfect as I wanted it. Antonio did a great job fixing up every little nook and cranny I needed help with - just an awesome job. Some other cabinet makers might make nice cabinets. The Hyatt has nice hotel rooms, too. Mike, Joe, Antonio, Raul, Shelly - they are like the Four Seasons. Every little detail is world class. Sandy is a gem. She knows her stuff, her products, what can be done and what can be a problem. We purchased cabinets, countertops, sinks, drawer pulls and door handles from Cypress. Everything looks lovely. One sink arrived damaged and Sandy put in a rush order to get a new sink Sandy designed the kitchen layout and it is great. We have a lot more space to put things now. We had two blind corners and Sandy put a lazy Susan cabinet in one and a magic box in the other. Now we have access to cabinet space that we hadn't had in over 40 years. Sandy also noticed some problems with the cabinet finishes and worked with the stainers to get the issue resolved. She even delivered the redone items herself. One thing that is great about Sandy is her willingness to work with you to find what you want, not what is on the sales floor. And she never pushes to make a sale. The quality of the cabinets is very high and they look great! We used a pretty wide array of finishes, from glossy and matte Mirlux finishes to Cleaf wood-based panels in multiple varieties. Our project included bi-fold upper cabinets, appliance garages, a printer drawer, a charging drawer for a hair dryer, coffee center with pocket doors, and so on. They turned out great. There were some hiccups along the way that initially caused some frustration - these were limited to a few areas, but we felt the day to day impact of these was hard to just ignore. What really impressed me about owners David and Tammy (and the rest of the Woodenbridge team) was their openness to discuss our concerns in a very constructive and solution-focused manner. There was never any finger pointing or deflection - just a focus on what could be done to get things as right as possible. As a result, virtually all of our concerns were addressed through their willingness to listen, suggest possible resolutions, and implement what we mutually agreed would be the best way forward. This type of positive can-do attitude and sincere desire to reach the highest level of customer satisfaction is really rare these days. I was able to find the brand that is slightly taller 34.5" that fits our needs (vs the standard 33"). The shop's focused on custom made or semi-custom made cabinetry. With my odd size vanity requirement, they were able to quickly offer a 3 cabinet solution that covered my needs. They will also suggest a couple countertop places to shop for and ordering via Excelle gets you a 10% discount. I visited the shop multiple times and happy to report that the experience has been consistently pleasant. Good coffee, good music, sound advice and they are super patient to let us visualize the colors and styles with different samples.
