When we called to check on it, it was now on back order until the end of the month! We remodeled our kitchen on a budget and came back to Cypress because of their of cabinet selection and very budget friendly prices. Obviously, we were afraid after reading many negative reviews of this place on Yelp. This place is getting 4 stars solely because of Tina. Tina is super friendly and will give you honest advice. I hope they are paying her really well because she is keeping this place afloat. We had some positive experiences with other staff at Cypress and a couple of very horrible interactions with the owner, Sue. So ask for Tina and avoid Sue and Macy. We purchased our cabinets, hood, and sink from Cypress. Tina gave us great advice about where we could purchase granite countertops because they didn't have the one we wanted in stock and where to buy cheaper flooring. She also advised that we buy our plumbing fixtures (faucet, garbage disposal) from Costco because they are of better quality than the ones they have at Cypress. We had a terrible experience here with Penny and her managers. After visiting a couple different kitchen & bath places, we found that Cypress had the style we wanted. We bought our floors here initially and decided to go with them on our kitchen cabinets too. I first spoke with Penny and described the changes we wanted to make to our kitchen. She was very helpful at first and was very nice when it came to making changes to our order along the way. Unfortunately, our contractors had us change a few things on the layout and Penny was very helpful when it came to the changes. Once we received our cabinets, that's when everything went downhill. We had a few cabinets that had dings on them and they gladly took them back. We noticed a few more and they said it was "our contractors fault and that they don't know how to handle the cabinets." Also, there were a couple times that she "forgot to charge" us for something and had to add it to the order making our total a lot more than what we budgeted for. It's like once they make the sale, the customer service goes out the window. During the estimate process, they send over your price and they discount everything making it seem like they're giving you a great price when in reality their prices are just the same as other vendors nearby. They make you think that wow 45% off is amazing! When really, they mark up their cabinets. Penny gave us attitude along the way and completely stopped replying to us. I wouldn't recommend it here at all because they really convince you that their customer service is good, but in reality, they just want your business and won't follow through. read more

We had an absolutely fabulous and seamless experience with Cypress. We worked with both Tina and Sue, and they went above and beyond. It started with the layout, where we went through 2 rounds of ideas (we were contemplating rotating our kitchen 90 degrees). They patiently and expertly laid out both options, using their insight on both overall looks/aesthetics (such as symmetry, etc), plus minute details such as using a special cabinet to support a farmhouse sink, taking into account overhangs and needed spacers, options for a custom peninsula top and appropriate overhang, etc, to get an exact and aesthetically pleasing fit and design solution. When we were ready to go, Sue came to our house herself and measured everything to make sure it was right. We got our cabinets on time, and the install went very smoothly. They look beautiful, and are an ideal quality/pricepoint for our needs (soft-close, dovetail, no particle board). Sue and Tina are fabulous to work with! I see some of the recent negative reviews and can only tell you that they may be individual-based? Our experience was very different- and very positive. If I could give 0 or negative stars, I probably would. This rating is for their customer service. From the time we discovered our cabinets were the wrong size to the time everything was completely delivered- that took 3 months and delayed the end of our home renovation by 2 months. We were due to finish by end of December but because we kept receiving the wrong cabinets or the cabinets were delayed- we did not receive everything until end of January. I have yet to see the quality of the cabinets but will update it once I finish my renovation. 1) I got pressure to finalize the review from the sales rep- went down myself 4 times to finalize things. Our cabinets were not delivered on time which was fine because the contractors could work on other things. They delivered a month behind schedule. 2) Once my contractors got ready to install, it was discovered that a third of our cabinets were not the right size- either too short or too long or wrong height. We find out that our sales rep did not put in the right measurements for our appliances which was the downfall from the start. 3) This kicked off a very long protracted painful experience. We literally were sent the wrong sized cabinets 3 times(!) over the course of a month. We were also promised apparently unrealistic timelines- a day to a few days to a week. 4) We finally got the right sized cabinets except for one cabinet that needed to be custom made (which the sales rep did not realize until at this point). The sales rep at Cypress refused to make it for us, until we got the owner/manager on the line. We still had to pay half the cost of labor for customizing this cabinet. This took another two weeks. 5) Received the cabinet but was in the wrong color. Additionally, we still had other materials we were waiting on that we absolutely needed to finish the cabinets- like the crown molding, etc. The crown molding we were waiting for months as well. The wrong style of that was delivered. Lo and behold- it turned out the sales rep never acknowledged his mistake from the beginning, and hid it from his managers. It was only when I talked to someone else, did they treat it with the urgency and competency required. I should have escalated to the manager/sooner later so that's on me, but the amount of dishonesty, false representations and ultimately effort (between me and my general contractor) was beyond the pale and frustrating. I would go with Sincere or Pacific Home Decor. This is a mom and pop shop and so their resources are limited- especially if you run into issues with your order. read more

We bought whole kitchen cabinets, Quartz counter-tops and bathroom vanities from Cypress in Dec'16. We bought more in Oct'17 for another house remodel project. The price is very reasonable. Quality is one of the best among all the other Chinese cabinet shops (confirmed by the cabinet installer). Sue came to our place to measure before we placed the order, and she draw the map for our Quartz installer to eliminate the need to buy another piece. We had to go there two additional times, one time because they called us to pickup handles (but when we arrived they realized that they made a mistake and our order haven't arrived yet), second time is to swap out the countertop because they gave us a wrong color the first time. She is the most attentive and knowledgable among the employees here. while working with Brian and Sue, i was tossed around like i didn't matter, put on hold indefinitely, given the wrong order (i told them i had a farmhouse sink, but still gave me the wrong sink base cabinet), and simply frustrated with all the problems that they really didn't care about. i found a couple minor scratches on my cabinets and tina was able to swap my cabinets out, while the rest of the folks working just watched me as if i was a burden to their afternoon. thank you to Tina for maintaining some level of customer support here! read more
