I buy a…read moremembership each year because I gas up my cars at Costco(s) (which consistently offer the best prices in San Diego), and sometimes, I need an entire standing rib roast, or a recliner for the living room, or several cases of tuna; you know... supplies. This Costco is like every other one I've ever visited, but for one wonderful difference: it's less than a mile from Santee's "Magic Corner" - Carlton Hills Blvd at Gorge Ave - where one can buy the County's best ice cream (Handel's), donuts (Mary's) and fried chicken (The Chicken Shop) in one magnificient pass.

Ok so if you ever want to find things that you never see at the regular stores or wondered what stores do to things that are still good items but didn't sale very well... well let me tell you it more than likely made it here. The items are still good, it was just people either don't know about the products, didn't want to pay the marked prices at those stores, or maybe it was taking up too much room with the quantity... whatever the reason it made it GTM Im grateful!!! It allows consumers to get them at marked down prices. They have everything from clothing, furniture, electronics, household supplies, personal supplies, auto supplies, and food/snack items and so much more. I came here to buy some luggage but they were limited this visit. The staff however were very friendly and I had very welcoming visit. The store was well organized, atmosphere was lite up brightly, and clean. I didn't find the luggage I needed but I walked out with so many healthy drinks and snacks that I thought were amazingly priced. If you come make sure you ask to sign up for their discounts by giving them your phone number. They always have coupons in the app or associated with your phone number to get extra discounts off. I mean who does love a good deal? Right!! Trust it's something for everyone at GTM come give them a visit if ever in the Santee area and as always "You Can Thank Me Later"

Not only do they have everything we need at the best prices, but they go above and beyond for us when we're looking for something particular. No matter who helps you at the counter, you're in great hands. The whole team, from top down, Steve, Jose, Mario, Jackie, Thaddeus, Donny, Sebastian, Moises, and Todd are the most generous, and helpful supply house team we have had the pleasure of doing business with. Even the building is the nicest supply house I've been inside. Nice and clean, very organized, large warehouse. Granola bars, bottled water, soda fountain drink bar, and hamburger/hotdog bbq Fridays! Power assisted flushing toilets in not only one but TWO bathrooms! They also offer order delivery for $75+ which comes in handy in a pinch when we really need something out in the field! We are so happy with their work. My husband is definitely excited that he doesn't need to mow the lawn again. They also re-did our firepit, which I am super stoked to use. Our old one was so old and beaten up, I never used it. They have a wide variety of turf. We choose one that had a green and yellow tint so it looked like fresh new grass. Taking day trip on a disabled pass which is ou at $23.00 for almost the same for a couple of gallons gas of gas you can save money for the trolley. Taking my day trip to Santee from the ElCajon Station the service from the station just a few minutes and two stations from ElCajon for the time to Santee is only 15 minutes. With the many stations thst you teCel through you have many bus routes as selections that take you to the many neighborhoods connecting to the malls where you can go shopping . The selections of the many restaurants with the great book stores with stores of Tilly's and dhoe stores . For the Santee Trolley Square with the addition of the copper line that will be the sole trolley which will service the Santee Trolley Center . I needed some mini pretzels. Lots of them - eight bags. The shelf was nearly empty, only three bags remained. I spotted a large box on top of the shelf with a label that indicated it might contain what I was looking for. I spotted an employee starting to restock the frozen food aisle. I asked him if he could get the box down for me. He said that he'd be right back. He returned with a ladder on wheels and retrieved the box for me. Sure enough it contained exactly what I was looking for. After I grabbed my five bags of pretzels, I thanked the employee. I also apologized for pulling him away from what he was doing. He said, "You're welcome. No worries, it's part of my job". It was really refreshing. He didn't piss and moan about having to do something else. ANo attitude, no eye roll or sneer or smirk. He happily obliged. If only the S&F inventory was as good as the customer service. Their spice selection is terrible. Multiple brands of more commonly used spices, but not any dill weed of any kind. The dog food aisle left a lot to be desired also. Not a lot of variety and what they did have was pretty expensive. I was able to get dog food and dill weed at Food 4 Less. To sum up: While Food 4 Less is superior in the spice and dog food aisles, Smart & Final excels in pretzels!

I was just in Smart and final and this is the weirdest situation ever so the cashier had no bags in…read moreher line. However, the cashier directly across from her had a couple bags paper bags and I had a lot of groceries and needed a bag so my cashier asked her if she could get a bag and she would not give her a bag for me because she said she only had four left. I'm really confused like did I have to grab all my stuff and go in her line to get a bag there's some serious customer service issues going on here and obviously there's employee issues because I've never experienced this before you can tell It was very awkward. There wasn't even any bags I could purchase today. But employees shouldn't be working together if they're not getting along and not only that as a shouldn't be working in public if they can't even provide service, it's just strange. Bring your own bags everyone because if there's a couple left, they won't let you have them.
