What an incredible shopping center! I'm new to the general area, and this shopping center is my new go-to! I've already gone to Oggi's, Phil's BBQ, TJMaxx, Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, Starbucks and Coldstone! Any employees I've encountered have been exceptionally friendly, and the stores have been clean! The shopping center does get busy, but not in a way that deters me from going there. With the expansion of the San Diego Trolley has one new line that has so.many new additions for the city of Santee new one had been added the Copper Linevthatbhas been running for two weeks tome from thw Elcajon Station. My days travel on the Green Line to the City of ElCajon with the new trolley that has been running for about two weeks. For the Green line trolley has been running to the Santee Town Center for there is one car that is operating to the Santee Town Center . City of Santee has been the one station with two Trolleys with the switch over the train station with an extra track that was constructed for the trolley the regular line you will see a stop sign at the tracks.. For the service to the Santee Town And nter you can buy a probto carx for $7.00 as s round trip pass youvcan change over to the city buses and the Express busses of the Diwntown. Taking day trip on a disabled pass which is ou at $23.00 for almost the same for a couple of gallons gas of gas you can save money for the trolley. Taking my day trip to Santee from the ElCajon Station the service from the station just a few minutes and two stations from ElCajon for the time to Santee is only 15 minutes. With the many stations thst you teCel through you have many bus routes as selections that take you to the many neighborhoods connecting to the malls where you can go shopping . The selections of the many restaurants with the great book stores with stores of Tilly's and dhoe stores . For the Santee Trolley Square with the addition of the copper line that will be the sole trolley which will service the Santee Trolley Center . As a Yelp Elite Reviewer with the many changes of the San Diego Trolley the many trolley lines of the Blue Line and the Green Line which has been the best service . Copper Line trolley is occasionally marked "out of service in the mornings" when you approach it, even 4 mins before it leaves, it won't open. Then it just randomly leaves while being marked "out of service." The communication via, the label of the train should indicate the service provided. I raised my hands in disagreement to the conductor this morning when he attempted to leave, he waived me to get on. Communication is key and I would have rather started my day without having to emote my disagreement with the conductor before my trek to work. read more

The Santee Trolley Square was a wonderful place where you could take the whole family. They had a small area that shot out water for kids to play in. The stores were nice, clean, and it was a great place to shop, dine, and sit with the family. Those days are lone gone as the homeless population has been ever increasing their presence on the property. Security has not done enough to curtail the homeless issue and it makes the Trolley Square far less appealing. Yes, there are still many stores, but many have not been upgraded. The water play area has stopped. The property is beginning to show its age and is in need of some major upgrades. read more

Santee is off our usual shopping circuit. About 9 miles east of I-15 and just north of CA-52, there is this great shopping destination. There are over 40 stores and eating venues spread out over this open air shopping center ... and many more adjacent to it. I'm not sure if the Costco is in the center or adjacent, but it is usually the reason we drive out here. read more

I don't ever come to Santee but I had to for an emergency pickup. What I liked about this shopping center is that there is lot of cool stores! I came when it wasn't too busy, but leaving there was traffic. Some mentionable stores - Bed, Bath and Beyond, Target, Bath and Body Works, Old Navy, and more. Additionally, I noticed a lot of restaurants and eateries. To name a few there's Phil's BBQ, Jamba Juice, and more. There's a 24 hour fitness in this shopping center as well. The parking lot is huge but maneuvering may be an issue especially if there's traffic. A lot of people speed through the lot too. UGH! About 1.5 miles from the 52 freeway, so it's conveniently located off the major freeway. read more

Santee Trolley Square is an excellent shopping venue. It's got damn near everything. Shopping, dining, drinking, banking, a gym, spa, barber, it's all here! There is even an outdoor amphitheater. Anchored by Target and bisected by the trolley tracks, aptly named, Santee Trolley Square is where the green line begins (or ends, depending on your direction of travel). Located in the center of Santee at the intersection of Cuyamaca and Mission Gorge. More than just a shopping mecca, STS plays host to a myriad of city events. Car shows, festivals, etc. read more

It's your typical shopping center, complete with a Starbucks and a Target. Plenty of parking, clean and easy to walk around. There's a trolley stop right in the middle, which brings some odd characters and smells, which is why it's not my favorite. But if you need anything, this shopping center will have it. The employees at this store are rude! They give you dirty looks when you ask for help and they act like it's not their job. The way they try to enforce the masks and distancing is very condensending. The problem is that all the employees there today had a bad attitude. Maybe if even 1 of the 3 sales people in there had treated us with even a hint of kindness I would go back but they did the complete opposite. I will not be returning to this store. I can find somewhere else to spend my hard earned money. This store is an embarrassment to Tilly's everywhere. read more

So I think that taking a little trip today Santee just to go look at the place is huge last time I was down here was maybe 6 years ago and pick up my stuff in storage and pay and lift here Think about Santee Lakeside it's hot all the time in the summer 90 -100 degrees is all day long and into the night to a cool down about nine or 10 o'clock in the evening going to start all over in the morning!! What's has a very nice place just get on the trolley station downtown and it,s cool and comfortable ride . and shopping target Walmart Costco oof any stores and look for yourself ! it's huge it's with incredible got every kind of shopping store you want to do and i different restaurants too. read more

The details of this built up shopping center are not lost on me or the other shoppers having a moment near the outdoor decorated Christmas tree located near Panda Express. The string of white lights and exposed light bulbs make this place look cheerful in the night. This is one of the primary reasons my husband and I are choosing to buy a house in Santee. Yes its within our budget to live here and yada yada, but the proximity to everything we need is key for us as current city dwellers. My cousin purchased a house a few years ago in Santee and as a San Diego native I was always super skeptical about Santee fka Clantee. This shopping center is a testament to how far Santee has come since I was a child/teen even in my 20s. We have been to Santee Trolley Square many times in the past and we always have a good experience. I have to be honest, the line not wrapping around the building at Phils is a complete bonus too. We cannot wait to move to Santee. Now who can I convince that all they need is a Victoria Secret out here??? read more

This is my local "mall" and it's a pretty good place to visit if you're just out for some window-shopping, or you have a particular destination in mind. Usually I go to the Barnes and Nobles or Gamestop to browse and the Petsmart to visit the shelter cats, but there are also plenty of places to eat and clothing stores in the mid-range. No Hot Topic or Spencer's, though. :( And Coldstone reopened last I heard, yay! The trolley stop in the middle of the mall makes it really convenient for those without cars. read more

I love this shopping center. There are so many different stores and places to eat! It's really clean too. I could spend an entire afternoon at Santee Trolley Square. This particular shopping trip was quite interesting... We stopped in to Payless there was a new associate helping us find shoes for my 2 year old. The obviously know it all more experienced clerk was rude and snippy to the new girl. There was an issue with the new girl triggering a security notification. I guess she pulled the wrong dollar bill out of the cash register. We're waiting at the register for the rude clerk to finish with the alarm people and to reset the register. We just wanted to pay and go about our day... FINALLY.. we check out and walk out into the beautiful warm sunshine. Only to be greeted by AK 47'S and BLACK n WHITES!!! There were at least 10 sheriff cars surrounding the entire area. There was a deputy holding an AK a few hundred feet in front of us. The deputy asked us if everything was ok in the store. I said yes that the clerk accidentally triggered the alarm. My 2 year old, 15 year old and I kept walking.. the deputy yelled at us to walk the other way??? It was As we turned the other way that I noticed all the other officers surrounding the place with their guns out!! A woman and her kids that walked out after us was freaking out when she saw the CHAOS outside! I guess all I can say is this shopping center has some SERIOUS SECURITY!! read more

This is my go-to Starbucks, as I've been hosting my Read & Critique groups here for the past few months. I accidentally reviewed the wrong Starbucks, since the address seems to be a point of confusion... so, that's the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. The Starbucks itself is actually super accessible, since it's right at the end of the trolley line, and adjacent to the tracks, so even if you don't live out in Santee, you can still get here on public transportation. Hey, writing ain't just for the intelligentsia downtown, kid! Pull up a chair; you might learn something. There's also a Barnes & Noble in this shopping center, so after you're done having all of your hard work ripped apart in our critique group (just joking - we are actually super nice), you can go buy some writing guides to further improve. (I think you may be sensing a pattern here...) If you normally dig/drink Starbucks, then you know the drill: all the usual suspects are here! If not, congratulations: you are some sort of space alien who has recently dropped down to Earth, and we, the people, welcome you. Try a latté and a cake pop! I love to ride the San Diego Trolley! When riding the trolley, I can feel and expereice the pulse of San Diego. This end of the line station is a great place to hangout because it's located at a rather nice looking mall in Santee. It's a great place to meet up with my friends that live in Santee. At times, we all hangout at the Starbucks that is feet from the station. Good times! read more

I have to give credit to this place - when I think of Santee I do not think of nice, upscale or really anything like that. BUT this shopping center makes me forget I am in Santee and that is saying something! The shops here are all nice and some good shopping can be found here. You can really spend all day here and get all of your shopping and eating done without ever leaving the center. read more

I love this location. This is the future of Santee and never is a hassle to visit for what ever reason you need to get out for. With plenty of dining options (both chain and hole in the wall) and shopping choices, why would you go anywhere else. A movie theater perhaps, well that is being talked about and would only make things better (can you add a sixth star????). The cherry on the top is that fact that this location is the end of the green line for SD Trolley, and since the property owners take pride in the location, it makes for a safe place to park your car (or walk to) for a ride to any location on the trolley lines. This is a must visit location if you live in the Santee (and El Cajon) area. read more

I have lived in beautiful really HOT in the summer and really COLD in the winter Santee for over 15 years. There has been so much development in this city, you can pretty much find everything right here. The trolley square town center is where I spend a lot of my time doing my target shopping, get my haircut by the fabulous Sandy...i love her, relax in barnes and noble over a good book and coffee, working out at 24 hour fitness, and so much more. I can't think of a better place to live and shop with everything here at my fingertips. read more

Great alternative to a mall, I can usually get everything I need at one of these stores. It's one of the cleaner trolley stops, it's rare to see any homeless or hoodlum teens with nowhere to be like many stops, the occasional weirdo tends to stay at the trolley stop not in the stores. I've always been able to find parking even during the holidays. read more

This shopping center is great. It hosts the last stop of the green line on the MTS trolley and a bus connection station in the back with tons of parking (see reviews for the station itself here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/santee-green-line-station-santee). The Trolley Square Town Center is relatively new (once the green line came here they renovated the place), has security on site (not including MTS security), loads of parking and is one of the four shopping mall corners at Cuyamaca and Mission Gorge. It's the better one out of the 4. The stores that reside in this center are: Oggis Pizza, Starbucks, a extremely huge Target, 24 Hour Fitness, Gamestop, US Naval Recruiting Center, a burger joint, TJ Maxx, Petsmart, Pier 1, Famous Footwear, Mimis Cafe, Radio Shack, Olive Garden, Massage Envy, Sprint, Barnes and Noble (not sure if that still exists or not, Google says it is), Banfield Pet Hospital, Payless Shoesource, Tilly's, Men's Wearhouse, Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Navy, Bath and Bodyworks, Party City, A Buffet Restaurant, Lane Bryant, Panda Express, Quiznos, and a couple smaller retailers and eateries. The center's design is really pleasant and nice, pretty typical for most outdoor malls built today, except this one has more of a nod off of the rocky landscapes typical of East County built in to match the community area. Lots of places to sit and relax, however not enough shaded areas (except whats around the trolley station). Overall it's a very good center, great for shopping, park and ride and hanging out (should you want to hang out in Santee, lol). It loses one star as it's not very pedestrian friendly due to its large size and the mass amounts of parking, but it's nothing trolley goers and folks who would park and ride would really scoff at, but its something folks need to consider. If you are coming by foot, be prepared to hoof it for a while and pace yourself. I am sure to return to this Center to get away from the mass hysteria in Mission Valley for sure...why not its the same distance, just in the opposite direction by car or by trolley. read more

This is one of the best shopping malls in San Diego. My favorite! Like the fact that it has a lot of open space. Had enough of closed-in shopping malls where you are constantly bumping and weaving around people and strollers. My favorite store there is Barnes and Noble. It's so big, never crowded with so many interesting books to check out, a huge variety of magazines, lots of stationary, journals, and organizers. The children's book area is nice and big with places to sit, a wide variety of books and many have items related to the book, like stuff animals of characters from the book. There's a wonderful child/adult toy section with lots of unique things to buy. Love the Old Navy store because it's spacious, never crowded and has my size. Phil's Barbeque is awesome. It's really big so there's not a line wrapped around the restarant so you get seated right away. The service and food is excellent. Love the fact that there are so many stores and restaurants/eateries to check out and there's always ample parking. Another plus is the trolley's last stop is there. read more
