I wanted some citrus with my sugarcane so decided to go with the tall boy (32 oz) Southeastern Summer. Yes, it's a tall one. They have a tall straw the goes with it, too. I like them tall LOL. It's one of the classics. It basically has sugarcane and kumquat. It's all natural! And it's super delicious!! I normally get my drinks with no ice because I don't like watered down drinks. They charge $3.00 more for no ice because they need more sugarcane to fill the whole cup which makes sense. Less ice is $1.00 more. Go for the less ice to cool down the drink. The cashier with the CC machine could use some fine tuning, the machine is a bit slow and the cashier was a bit snobby. Why carry straws if you're going to explain the lids have spouts in them? And then give the straw? It's like...okkkk? Sorry, I even asked. They offer a discount with Yelp but then ask for a tip so that washes itself out. SOUND THE ALARM!! New favorite healthy juice spot!!! I got hooked on their juice when Coastal Cane shared samples at Gold's Gym just across the street. I had tried the yummiest mint lemonade and literally watched as they pressed the real sugar cane to sweeten their drinks. Coolest thing to watch!!! Stopped by during my lunch break to see if they had remembered my protein drink request. They were closed so I was a little bummed out but just as I sat down to eat, a gentleman walked by with sugar canes!! Turns out David had just picked up a fresh batch of sugar canes and offered to make me a drink on the house for their delayed opening, which was the sweetest gesture. He created an off-menu dragon fruit based masterpiece that was absolutely DELICIOUS and really tasted like heaven in a cup!!! And probably the most exciting thing... I got to sample their new pea protein based pineapple mango drink that was OFF THE HOOK and a whopping 27g of protein per serving... heck yes!! Coastal Cane was at the Saturday Farmers Market at Terra Vista for a while but now they have a brick-and-mortar location at the Victoria Gardens Food Court! You can see their menu from North Mainstreet and you can place your order at the window. My favorite drink is the Baecation: sugar cane juice, lemon, and mint. They offer a couple of add-ons for this drink, but I think it's perfect as is. So happy that I don't have to wait until Saturday's Farmers Market to get my yummy cane juice! read more
