Post-sales support is terrible - very bureaucratic. I had much more success dealing directly with Whirlpool, the manufacturer

When buying a mattress he was more concerned with our needs, what we required in a mattress. He gave us honest advice, never rushed us but rather he encouraged us to take our time trying various, similar mattresses. We never felt pushed to buy a more expensive one but rather encouraged us to purchase one that met our needs. Vipul could certainly teach others the art of customer service. We were so impressed that we then decided that we would buy a mattress protector, pillow and new stove from Vipul at the same time. Matress has has been delivered and we are adjusting to the newness of it. We have been assured that we have a number of weeks to be sure that it is the set for us or else they will exchange. Looking forward to doing more business with Vipul in the future, perhaps he will be the manager by then.

Very horrible experience. I would not recommend buying anything from this location. The staff were…read moredishonest and misleading throughout the entire process. We went to purchase a king-size bed frame and mattress. Gurpreet was our salesperson. Initially, we wanted to pay the full amount right away, but he convinced us to sign up with their financing partner, Flexiti, instead so that he can earn some commission. He also told us that once the bed was delivered, we would have 48 hours to report any issues to Brick and they would help resolve them. When the bed and mattress arrived, there was a huge gap between the mattress and the bed frame. We understood there might be a small gap, but this was very noticeable and caused the mattress to move around. We emailed them immediately, and the next day Vansh, who said he was the supervisor/manager, called us. He claimed this was normal in all beds and I asked him if we could chose another bed frame as we reported the issue with 48 hours. He said we cannot do anything as there is no return policy or anything. You will have to keep it. At last we decided not to argue with them and thought to pay full money to Flexiti and when I received the statement, there was an extra $25 charge. After calling Flexiti, they informed me that the salesperson had added insurance to our account without our knowledge or consent. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Maybe other locations are better, but definitely not the Abbotsford location.

The Brick - Still happened even if you excuse yourself from responsibility! $10,000 spent and $85 is breaking your bank?

The Brick - It still happened even if you are excusing yourself from the huge $85 cost after I've refurnished 4 entire homes at the brick.

I was told only the store manager could do it, but he was not in the store that day. Told he would call, never did. Called the store to find out that their phone doesn't work anymmore. Told in the store they were having "systems" issues. Finally got a hold of someone in customer care outside of BC to be told that I didn't cancel fast enough and now am being charged a 10% admin fee totalling approx. $600 for furniture that isn't being delivered from a store that doesn't have a working phone line or in-store manager to process customers when they come inside. Disappointed & will never buy from this store again. Looking through the reviews I see I am not the only person scammed.

We contacted customer care and were instructed to use a fabric shaver to fix the issue. My wife did as they had said, and it resulted in the fabric tearing and leaving a tear about 3 inches long. We reached out to customer care again, just to be told it wasn't their problem. We went I to the store to speak to the manager. He seemed more than eager to help. We forwarded him the email chain and photos. He assured us that our issue would be corrected. He told us someone would reach out to us in the next few days. We didn't hear from anyone. We contacted the store again and at that time we were told that we would have to pay to fix it ourselves. We told the manager that that was unacceptable and that he needed to make this right. That's when the store went radio silent. They would not return our calls over the next several weeks. My wife decided to call again on a random Saturday morning, and no one answered right away, but a few minutes later, the manager called back. I answered the phone and asked a very simple question, "Where do you want me to leave this furniture? Inside your front door, outside your front door or just out in the parking lot?". The manager hung up. So, we threw a couple of the cushions in my truck, which showed an abundance of fraying and headed to the store so they could see the terrible craftsmanship for themselves. As we walked in the door of Ashley's, the manager started yelling that we needed to leave. He made a complete scene, saying that we had threatened HIM and demanded that we get out or he would call the cops. We eventually did walk out, taking our cushions with us... off to small claims court we go. If I could have left zero stars, I would have.

Our hot water tank stopped working and I needed a new thermocouple to get it back in working order…read moreso we can do dishes and shower. I thought it would be a quick in and out with some help from the staff but boy was I wrong. I couldn't find anyone to help me in regards to what I was looking for but a fellow who was on one of those high step ladders directed me to the appropriate aisle and where the product was specifically. Kudos to him!!!! The part came in two sizes being 24 and 30 inch and I had to look around to find someone who would be able to help. There was a guy in the plumbing area but he already had two pain in the ass customers he was helping so I walked around that department with my daughter for about 15 minutes until I finally flagged someone down. Sadly the guy I asked said the worked in the paint department, said he was going on his lunch break, and then walked away. Thanks for nothing!!!!!! With that being an epic failure I proceeded to the customer service desk to see if they knew anything about the correct size and if they can look up the model and serial number in the computer. Instead of assisting me with my question the girl who was helping me pretty much told me that I should just buy a new hot water tank because mine is old and outdated and I can get one from them with a rebate for $300 providing it is installed by them. Using my logic I thought $10 part as opposed to a $300 + hot water tank? that was a no brainer. Go to Andrew Sheret plumbing wholesale instead as they have actual experienced tradespeople there as to some sale lady trying to upsell you something you don't need.
