It took 10 days for a repair person to come out. They decided, for whatever reason, that it was the motherboard that had gone on it. He said he would order the part and be back within a week to 10 days to repair it. Eight days later the repair place called to say they have the part and it would be another week to 10 days before they could send someone to install it. As this was completely unacceptable, we called the store. Natasha spoke with my husband and could only give him the service departments phone number and that there was nothing else she could do, as she was going on holidays. He called the repair department and they put us on a cancellation list, but it would still probably be a week to 10 days. I called the repair place the next day and told them this was unacceptable. They had told us a week to 10 day and they would be back to install. They needed to stick with that time frame. They came 3 days later. Only to find out that their guess about it being the motherboard was incorrect and now they had to contact the manufacturer to get the schematic, why they didn't have this prior to diagnosing it in the first place is beyond me. So another couple days go by and the repair guy comes back and decides it's the motor. On a dryer that was 2 months old when it died. At that point we told the repair person, we do not want this dryer. We want to return it. He said they would probably just replace it. I called the Abbotsford store the next day, and lo and behold, it's Natasha that answers the phone. She knew who we were, as she referred to it as "the McMaster dryer". She immediately started making excuses, which pissed off an already pissed off customer even more. When I said, we just want to return it and get our money back, her immediate response was, we don't do refunds. When I said you make sure to get your vacations though right, who cares about your unhappy customers. Her response was, I am entitled to time off. I guess her customers being entitled to a dryer that works, was asking for too much. I told her I would be writing a bad review, she told me she didn't care. I gave her my email address and asked that she email me the contact information for her manager and the number for the service department, which she said she would, but 3 weeks later she never has. No one contacted us to let us know that you had decided to just put in a new motor until we contacted the store. At which time my husband stated we want our money back and Natasha again said, we don't do refunds. The repair, of course, was scheduled for the usual week to 10 days. We had already waited the week to 10 days, why did we have to wait another week to 10 days to have a repair person come out? They made the incorrect diagnoses. Today, almost six weeks after the dryer died, the repair person came with a new motor, unfortunately(for us), it was the wrong motor. So here we sit with a dryer that does not work and a company that doesn't care. Three more weeks and it will have been broken for as long as it ever worked. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Their selection is excellent, the customer service is BEYOND what you'll get anywhere else (seriously) and it feels so good to support a company like this. I recommend them to everyone I know.

(being a locally owned business) We purchased 17 appliances for 3 homes with them in a six month period. We have had issues with one gas range since receiving it. Grand Pappy's sent a repair person to fix it 6 times in 7 months. The problem has still not been fixed. At what point will they replace the stove that is brand new and under warranty? They advised us to go directly to the manufacturer to replace the stove . The manufacturer told us to deal directly with the retailer we bought the appliance from. It has been over 3 months since the last time the repair man came and we are still waiting on a part they had to order. We have contacted Grand Pappy's several times to have this resolved with absolutely no success. It has now been nearly 10 months of them putting us off. After buying 17 appliances with them, we would have thought they would like to keep our business, but obviously they don't care at all about their customers. We will never purchase from them again.

When buying a mattress he was more concerned with our needs, what we required in a mattress. He gave us honest advice, never rushed us but rather he encouraged us to take our time trying various, similar mattresses. We never felt pushed to buy a more expensive one but rather encouraged us to purchase one that met our needs. Vipul could certainly teach others the art of customer service. We were so impressed that we then decided that we would buy a mattress protector, pillow and new stove from Vipul at the same time. Matress has has been delivered and we are adjusting to the newness of it. We have been assured that we have a number of weeks to be sure that it is the set for us or else they will exchange. Looking forward to doing more business with Vipul in the future, perhaps he will be the manager by then.

We went to purchase a king-size bed frame and mattress. Gurpreet was our salesperson. Initially, we wanted to pay the full amount right away, but he convinced us to sign up with their financing partner, Flexiti, instead so that he can earn some commission. He also told us that once the bed was delivered, we would have 48 hours to report any issues to Brick and they would help resolve them. When the bed and mattress arrived, there was a huge gap between the mattress and the bed frame. We understood there might be a small gap, but this was very noticeable and caused the mattress to move around. We emailed them immediately, and the next day Vansh, who said he was the supervisor/manager, called us. He claimed this was normal in all beds and I asked him if we could chose another bed frame as we reported the issue with 48 hours. He said we cannot do anything as there is no return policy or anything. You will have to keep it. At last we decided not to argue with them and thought to pay full money to Flexiti and when I received the statement, there was an extra $25 charge. After calling Flexiti, they informed me that the salesperson had added insurance to our account without our knowledge or consent. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Maybe other locations are better, but definitely not the Abbotsford location.
