Got a sheet pizza and wings. I used to come all the time as a kid 10+ years ago but moved out of the area. Quality has dropped pretty bad. The sweet chilli wings are always amazing but expensive. The pizza lacked flavor. Super bland, barely any meat on it, not worth the money. Overall I'd prolly recommend somewhere else for the money spent. Also prices online are wrong. Online it said $16 for 12 wings and $25 for the sheet pizza but it came out to $56. read more

Located on the Main Street in Waverly. Pizza was good and had plenty of toppings. I particularly liked the sauce and wish there was more of it! The dough is on the thicker end and the pizza is sliced in smaller sections which I did like. read more

Coaches Pizza - a pepperoni pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Waverly, New York

grabbed pizza for the first time passing through the waverly area on a recommendation. medium pie was just that. medium. no taste, and no cheese on about a third of the pizza. (don't know if it was a baking/level issue with the oven) for $15 and change, just not worth it read more

The meatball sub are those crappy, cheap, frozen little fake meatballs. Very disappointing. The kids like the pizza though and the prices are reasonable and delivery is reliable. read more

Coaches Pizza - Disgusting - Pizza Near Me - Waverly, New York

Summary: Coaches Pizza is a pizza, sub, and wing pizzeria located on Broad Street. Cost: A small gluten free pizza was about $15, and 4 Slices and a Small Soda was just under $10. Taste: I had a Buffalo Chicken slice and a Pepperoni Slice. The pepperoni pizza resembled Howie's pizza when it used to exist. The Buffalo Chicken slice was a little dry, but I feel that this is mostly due it being left over from prime time lunch (we went at 2:00 PM). The pepperoni was pretty good though, and the Buffalo Chicken one wasn't bad. I also tried a piece of Pineapple and Ham Gluten Free piece and it was good for gluten free. The crust was flat like most gluten free pizzas, but wasn't grainy. I liked it. Atmosphere: It's a mixture of what feels to be a sport's bar combined with a place that you'd bring your kid after Little League to get a slice of pizza. There are pictures of local children from Sayre, Athens, and Waverly in uniform posted all over along. Also had Little League Championship playing on the TV. The cashier and staff seemed like people who lived in the Valley, probably for a summer job, but there's no problem with that and they were nice enough. Overall: We stopped here during a family visit as we are from the area, and it wasn't bad. The pepperoni piece alone probably would be a 4 Star given the lack of really good pizza places around the area, but the buffalo chicken piece was lack luster. I personally like Pudgie's Buffalo Chicken more. It's nice that they have gluten free pizza though, and I've had worse. Given the area I feel that it's a good 3 or 4, so I'll go with a 3.5. read more

Awesome pizza. I know everyone has their opinions about pizza but they have generous toppings and fantastic sauce. I had the chicken spedie garlic pizza and it was incredible. The place is super clean, the service was great. The gentleman who served me always had a smile on his face. I will definitely go there again!!! read more

Best pizza in the valley. Unless you like overpaying for generic sauces and crust bubbles then you should go to Howies or Pudgies.

Pretty good pizza! I got two pepperoni slices. Reminds me of Pudgies Pizza, but better crust and the slices were actually hot. Also didn't have the crust bubbles poking through the cheese. read more

I like this place. It has quickly become my go to quick pizza place in my hometown. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and the service has always been quick. I think they have the best chicken wing pizza I've ever had to be honest. I haven't ordered much beyond pizza from them but I've been pleased with what I've gotten. read more

I found this wonderful pizza place from my daughter. I've had delivery pizza and takeout pizza from all over the valley. I found that their prices were better, their pizza, calzone (made especially for my request), subs, etc. unbeatable. I hope anyone reading this will give this place a try. What I love the most is no delivery charge and the least amount of grease used. Eat up guys. This is definitely 5-star. read more

It's a good little place for decent food and good customer service. The food is fairly priced as well. Loveee their "Honey BBQ chicken pizza too! Soo damn good n well worth the money read more

Average pizza. Either the oven needs a higher temperature or it needs to be in a bit longer. A thin crust pizza should not be a limp noodle. A bit of oregano or garlic would be nice too read more

Best pizza and subs ever !! We offer to have any family birthday party's at our house just so we have a reason to get a loaded sheet. It's a half hour drive from our house but worth every mile !The owner and staff are fantastic and the place is spotless ... what more could you ask for. We love it !! Oh ... the wings and subs are great also !! read more

As we all know, good pizza is subjective. Everyone likes something different. I like Coaches pizza because their sauce is on the sweeter side, crust is thin, and toppings are generous. Seating is limited, but during weekdays we can usually sit down. read more

Coaches Pizza is great! Great tasting food at very reasonable prices. My personal favorite item is the stromboli. I also appreciate their delivery service. My mother orders from Coaches fairly regularly. The food is prepared and delivered in an extremely quick manner, and every delivery person that I have the opportunity to speak with has been very courteous. This is very important to me, as my mother is unable to get out and pick up her order herself and I like knowing that she will be treated properly by the folks at Coaches. Thank you very much, Coaches, for great food and great service! read more

Great Pizza - Absolutely. Great pizza great food, I have had most of all thier pizza and it's always good. Parking and seating are tough once in a while but it's all about the great pizza. read more

Wings are delicious - 5 Stars. Pizza is just like eating at Pizza Hut, greasy -1 Star.

We just ordered a plain sheet pizza using your $14.99 online coupon and was told the total was $16.18. My son ran in to pick it up and gave $20.25 for it. How does that work? Is someone giving themselves a nice tip? Then when we ask about it they say we can drive back for the $4 they should have given to begin with. Bad service. read more

The pizza is ridiculously good. Service is excellent. The joint is super clean and rustic. Love the food and the ambience. I will definitely come back. read more

Took forever to deliver. Food was was okay but the service was terrible. Told me 30 minutes but it's been over an hour

An alright place, don't really get anything besides the pizza. Pizza isn't 5 star if you travel out side of the Valley. But it is good.

Great service and great food. Highly recommend. Pizza is very good and the chicken cheesesteak is awesome.

You dont meet better people in a normal day. they have helped many non profit organisations in various ways. food taste great (except one time I was appointed but it was a fluke). great atmosphere. a place I would bring my kids. read more

YUMMM! I am in love with their garlic pizza and the chicken cheesesteaks. Great atmosphere. Wide varitey menu. Highly recommended!!!!

Compared to other pizza in the area this is by far the best I have found. Fast and friendly service.

Went to Coaches Pizza last night for supper. Was not impressed at all with our purchase. We got two ham subs, one with everything one with everything minus tomato. Got home and had two subs exactly the same, both with tomatoes. Not only that, but neither sub had mayo and both had so much oil the rolls were soaked and soggy. For what dinner cost, and the fact we couldn't eat most of it, very disappointed. Probably won't be going back there anytime soon. read more
