I was looking for a new Vibram heel cap for my boots, he did not have the proper size and it wasn't Vibram. His solution was to add move leather to the heel and then put on a more shallow heel cap. This would be an OK solution, however it would end up costing me TWICE what new heel caps would (about $25). Again, I empathize with the shop owner but I don't want to pay double because he doesn't have sufficient inventory of shoe repair parts. He seemed like a very nice guy that was eager to please, but again I can't pay double the price because he is a nice guy.

When I went to gently wipe it off with a wet paper towel, the area ripped again. I had hardly even touched it. I thought it was okay because the technician had told me there was a 30 day guarantee. If I wasn't satisfied, they would send someone out to fix it for free. I called to set up the second appointment, supposedly in the warranty, and it was made for a few days later. Not only did no one show up, nobody returned any of my 20 calls asking about what happened. Do not use this company; the work is shoddy and their business practices unethical.

I felt bad about this and understood the initial problem with showing up. I then asked if he could come the next day and he said he would at 10 am which relieved me. But the next day not only did he not show up but after 6 phone calls and a call from my business manager and several text messages, no answer and no reply. I would not recommend this company to anyone that wants to get work done on time. I had to deliver the bus incomplete and am researching for an upholstery repair place in NC now since it didn't get done here.
