Sharing the price fixe for 2 and ordering an additional entree was plenty for us and we got to try a variety of things. There is no kids menu but Jonathan, our server was nice enough to let us know which dudes or entrees the kitchen could customize to make kid-friendly. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese side and it was plenty for a kids entree. Overall, I think Beauty & Essex is fun for a special occasion dinner, even for a family dining either tween/teenage children. We saw mostly couples dining but didn't feel out of place for dinner at 6pm on a Monday night.

This shop was weird, though; when I approached the store front, there was a large table full of brand new Donald Trump hats and banners. It was only Trump, not any other celebrity or politician, etc., and it was all brand new, so obviously not used or vintage. We're not talking like vintage items from prior political campaigns, etc., which I do sometimes see at other antique and consignment shops. It felt really off-putting, and it made me not want to support the business, so I did not buy anything. I just wanted to shop, not be reminded of politics, and I didn't need to know the shop owner's political stance or preferred candidate. Awkward and weird. I would not return.

One of my friends is a Swarovski nut, and to be honest, I never really understood it until I browsed this store: they have some really beautiful, unique, and wearable jewelry! I love their wrap-around bracelets (which can also be wore as a necklace). Plus, they have so many other cool and unique designs for necklaces, earrings, phone cases, and rings. They have a small section for men, too, with cuff links, watches, and rings. I don't really understand the kitschy crystal collectibles, but to each their own. The store was modestly staffed with one woman whose bubbly, effervescent personality was exactly what would be expected at a store like Swarovski. She was helpful in allowing me to try on a pair of very nice drop earrings ($125 for the pair), wiping them down with rubbing alcohol to sanitize them. A lot of nicer stores don't allow try-ons for earrings, but I'm glad Swarovski does! I may have found the perfect earrings to go with my wedding dress! She also looked up all the information for me, so that we could order it online if we couldn't decide on purchasing them that night. I loved the no-pressure feel I got from this place! While I didn't buy the earrings that night, I've gotten such positive feedback on the pictures I took while wearing them in-store, that I will definitely be ordering them online! Swarovski seems to just have that "edge": a sparkle, a shine, like a little glint of a smile that draws you in. I'm honestly so surprised that I ended up really liking this place, price tag and all. Upon first glance, it's easy to say "how can you charge so much? it's crystals, not diamonds!". But, looking over their merchandise, it's almost genius how exceptional the design of their jewelry is, both in style and function, and how that sparkle seems to just bring out the natural beauty in yourself. On the other hand, they did have a lot of great finds in home decor. This section was very well kept and stocked, there was a lot I was left inspired by. The young gentleman working this area was extremely amicable and willing to accommodate my baby and myself. I also did notice that they had a wide variety of clothing, so much better than the other stores I have been to. The clothing at this location is more reasonable in terms of what someone would actually wear and the pricing. I am seriously considering going shopping here for my daughter and myself. The best find for me was kids clothing and women's jeans, both of which were cheap for great brands such as Limited Too for kids and Lucky Brand Jeans. Overall I would say that this store is worth returning to. I do not consider this a 5 Star store, however 3 stars is too low of a rating. If they would clean up and restock their makeup and shoe department, that rating could change dramatically. One more plus is that they are pretty fast at checkout and keep enough people on registers to match the demand.

Again she said, You can't be back here so I told her I need help ma'am. The Young lady at the register called about 15 minutes ago. All she would say is, Shut the door I'll be with you in the min. She got on the radio and called for someone to come help me as if she couldn't help me, why? I am disabled and needed help getting a pair of shoes and ask questions about the shoes. The ladies name was Afrooo , she was very very rude walking out of the back room of the store, with a very loud cart. I asked her if she was the store manager. She told me she was, when infact she isn't and she refused to give me the store managers name. she was carrying on as we were walking toward the front and I asked why didn't you just come help me instead of telling me you'd be right with me as she pulled a very loud cart. I do want to mention, she did ask two black ladies if she could help them. I assume she must be prejudice. She was extremely rude, simply because I asked for help. She should not be in any Management role. This is the second time I have had "Attitude" and "Poor Service"from this DSW location.

Well I checked one day and they were FINALLY open - so I took the almost hour ride down there! It's down kind of a random street but right next door to the beach. It also has a weird entrance where you almost have to drive down someone's driveway to get in their lot ?! If they just took down the gate you could go around or drive directly in. This store is just darling from the white and yellow awning to the small porch with mannequin's on it proudly displaying Lilly's newest releases! I also LOVE the giant shell mirror that says watch Hill on it. Absolutely gorgeous store and storefront- with a great selection of styles in all sizes! They had most of my sizes in stock which was great! The size of the store is also pretty decent as well! Considering the other 2 Lilly Stores in Rhode Island are pretty tiny- I was really excited at the actual size of this location! I was hoping it was 2 floors (as the building appears to have) but I secretly knew it was not- as I'm sure that I would have heard about it prior to going there!! When I got there the staff was SOOOO friendly! I was so glad because this is my home state store & I will definitely be returning to this location- especially when I want to try stuff on! I can't say enough positive things about these ladies! They were super helpful , knowledgeable and most importantly friendly & down to earth and very easy to talk to! They were great from the start of my arrival to the minute I walked out (which was a long time might I add, I'm sure they were frustrated with how long I was in there and how annoying I was being & I'm sorry that I took forever!! I also went in with an exchange and they were so helpful- because the store didn't have the item in stock- they had it shipped from Lilly to my house ! I also had to have been pretty "needy" in the dressing room because I was constantly needing different sizes and wondering the fit on a lot of items but they were just great! They ALL went above and beyond to help me! At the end of my visit- they had run out of the Gift With Purchase so they made sure Lilly would ship one to my house, which again was so great!
