I came here for the first time last night and am so annoyed at myself I didn't take any photos because this TJ Maxx is awesome! Fully stocked, clean, well organized, and so many great gift giving options are available here! I ended up spending over $500 on Christmas presents for people, there were so many great options! The mugs selection is on point and I adored looking through all the holiday blanket options. I'm sure I'll be back a few more times the next few weeks while I need to get gifts! read more

In terms of makeup and beauty products, this store is immaculately clean. Their shelves were very organized and well stocked. They had expensive name brands for makeup such as Anastasia of Beverly Hills and Too Faced, all were in perfect condition and in the right place. I went to Marshall's in New London and they were a hot mess and understocked, I was so glad I came here. There was also a happy staff member who made sure I was finding everything I needed. I was nervous to go here at first, however I was pleasantly surprised. It's not too often that I am happy shopping at one of these stores, so to give this a good review is a big deal. My only complaint is the lack of people on registers, nonetheless once you do get through the staff has been very helpful and friendly. read more

This TJ Maxx is clean inside and picked clean of merchandise. The store is medium sized but there is very little in Men's and not too much else in the store. However I did find hand soap and laundry detergent for a good price. There are no competitors nearby and the parking lot has the dubious honor of lacking cart returns, so watch where you park. read more

They are fantastic and fit great for people with hips Disappointed that I couldn't find any sports bras, but still very happy to walk out with 6 new pairs of pants and they were only 15.00 each read more

I hate to have such a negative review on a brand thats so close to my heart, but this store is a serious disappointment to the brand. The shelves are scarcely stalked. The store doesn't really have much to offer. There isn't much woman's clothing to look through although there are many purses and cute gift ideas that I loved. If there is anything that catches my eye it's rare, the clothing is often something I could even see the strangest of people wearing! And I understand that this store is for things that haven't sold, but it's like you have to hunt to find something cute!!! I often go here to buy Christmas presents and home decor. The workout gear was lacking, no pants with pockets. Such a disappointment on the variety of juniors and misses tops. No summer color pants around unlike from my first visit. I was looking for either dark straight or tapered jeans yet saw many skinnies. The worst came during checkout. The petite dirty blonde working checkout # 3 was haughty to my sister. In January 2017 I visited the Norwich CT store and purchased approximately $500.00 in clothing. The sales associate at the register asked me if I would like 10% discount from my purchase, just need to apply for a TJ Maxx card. I agreed. She asked me all my info and I gave it to her. 10 minutes went by, and then she stated that I was not denied, but was not approved. They will send me a letter. I received this letter today, March 15, 2017. It states that I am denied to a incomplete application. I called the local store again to get the phone number for Synchrony Bank (they did not provide in letter). Synchrony Bank is stating that it's too late, the application is denied due to time lapse expiration. I advised her that this letter arrived today, what time lapse expiration? They are claiming that this is my second letter they mailed me. ( 100% Pinocchio!!!! ). The stores clerk made a human error, not only to ask me my personal info at the point of sale, but not to provide me an application. She obviously entered the wrong zip code (I was advised by the bank). Now I have a hit on my credit bureau report and no 10% discount. I called the store, they said I have to call the bank. No one is owning this mess, just passing the buck to the next individual. I am seeking an attorney, not because of the mistake...... but because of the way it is being handled..... no integrity!!!!!
