We were approached by another solar company who promised us free solar and a new roof at no cost,…read morewhich sounded too good to be true. After talking with friends we reached out to Valley Solar and they explained that there isn't such a thing as 'free solar and roof replacement'. While I think we knew this it was good to hear from the experts. The team walked us through the federal, state and utility incentives and explain in detail how the technology works. We are so glad to have found an honest local company. We have almost a dozen friends, neighbors and family members that have used Valley Solar and all sang their praises - now we know why!

We made it clear we were hot-to-trot, and ready to spend real money to go to solar. Instead of taking our money, Mike told us that it would not be worth it because of the directions of our roof lines. That was really nice and deserves a call out. Thanks Mike.

Very easy to do business with. I spoke to Andrew , the mini-split manager, who organized every detail for us. Our installer was Max. Max did a fantastic job. Max is detailed oriented and meticulous in his manner of installation. Other companies wanted to install the compressor the easy way and set the compressor in a cart on the ground. I didn't want that. Max fastened my compressor to the house foundation on a stainless steel bracket off the ground. I am an auto mechanic by trade and can really appreciate the finished look of a quality installation. I would highly recommend Northeast Solar to anyone that is considering mini-splits. Bob T.

Northeast Solar handled our solar installation this fall. When I first spoke with Justin it was…read morealready mid-August, and the end-of-year deadline for the tax credit meant they had a very tight fall schedule. I appreciated Justin's transparency regarding the time crunch, and the generous 10% discount he offered if the work couldn't be completed in time. As it turned out, the crew had everything installed and interconnected by early November. From permitting to working with the credit union to the final switch flip, they were calm, professional, and efficient. We were well informed every step of the way, and the installation process itself was remarkably chill in terms of commotion and time. Northeast Solar also installed my in-laws system several years ago, and we've all been very pleased with their work.

Don't expect them to ever answer the phone - apparently it's not convenient - sit and wait for their email replies. We did run into some unexpected delays due to a few outside factors but Earthlight Solar kept me informed the whole time. We went from having a 350-550 dollar electric bill to the panels covering 99-100% of our usage. It's pretty amazing. The company as a whole was great to work with. As I stated we did hit a few issues but a fair amount comes from being in a small town that just moves slower than we wanted. The draftsmanship of the panels / wiring and everything was top notch. They cleaned everything and I didn't find anything left behind! Top notch company and top notch solar panels. Go with them, don't hesitate!
