UPDATE: I had to change my review from four stars to two. It's been a week since my manicure and two of my nails have broken off. They're my real nails so this is super discouraging. I've been getting dip powder manicures for over a year and this has never happened. I've had nails chip or the polish crack - but not break completely off. I wasn't doing anything strenuous. One broke while I was washing dishes and another broke while I was planting flowers. These manicures typically last me at least three weeks and sometimes four. I hope my normal nail salon can get me in quickly to fix this. read more

I started going here about a year ago when my friend wanted to meet up for mani/pedis. For $45 you can do a mani pedi, for $15 more you can do dip powder manicure. Usually I am with Gracey, Daisy, Tom or another gentleman (so sorry I forgot the name!!) and they're all fantastic. (I've been with other staff before and they're nice too.) The pedicures include hot stone massage, which feels sooooo good. And my nails look lovely! I recently got into the dip powder. This powder is great! I date a farmer and help him outside a bunch. The powder sort of reinforces my nails so they don't break as easy. Thank goodness! read more

I got a horrendous looking pair of dip nails and The guy doing my nails didn't do my cuticles or prepare my nails in any way. He was so rushed and the nails are all different lengths and shapes. what I asked for vs what I got. Absolutely horrible. the white is smeared and I had to ask for multiple things to be fixed because Tom didn't notice it himself. I paid $60 for nails that I immediately have to go pay someone else to fix. This has happened multiple times with this salon and I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt which clearly I shouldn't have. if you're a salon and you can't do what the client is asking than don't say you can. Tom is the "most experienced" nail tech there and this is what I got. If you want more than a French tip don't go here. read more

I didn't want to review this place because I went when they were in the middle of renovations but the quality of my dip manicure was so poor that I wouldn't try it again. A week after my manicure three of my dip nail+tips broke. I get dip nails with tips religiously and they typically don't start breaking til week 3. I was asked to pick colors from the dip powder containers as there weren't any samples painted on nails. My nail tech tried super hard but just wasn't experienced and I felt like the techs were not professional. I'm 23 so it's not like my professionalism expectations are not realistic ‍. I can get a full mani and pedi for less than that at other places, so not sure why it was so expensive. From street view, Cnd Nails appears to be a small little shop in the fresh market parking lot off Rudy lane. However, once inside, the area opens up with multiple stations and at least 30 or more of the most comfortable massage chairs ever to be seen in a nail salon (have you seen the massage chairs at Costco that envelop you and even massage your arms? Yep, that's what I'm talking about!). As the standard pedicure, the massage consists of a hot stone massage on your legs (my favorite part!). The staff is nice, with the owner, Tom, sits at the door greeting people as you first walk in. I've been using Twei who is quiet and polite and does a fabulous job by taking her time and making sure everything looks perfect when you walk out the door. They do have a lot of gel colors as well as matching sets (gel and regular) and a nice variety of dips. If you are looking for a new place, this is one to try! read more

A hot stone leg massage is included in the price of a regular pedicure, which is more than the standard pedicure at other salons. I've been coming to CnD nails for my last 4 nail salon visits and I've been really impressed by the staff, facility, and prices. I actually recently had to come back because of my gel nail chipping after only a couple of days and they happily fixed it free of charge. This place has the best pedicures in town! Also, the service is quick and efficient! Even on their busiest days, I've never had to wait. Very well staffed. This place is nothing short of a nail factory. No real customer service at all. I had my temperature taken and told to put my mask on and then we 1/2 way shown how to get to the pedicure chair. The nail technician never introduced herself of made any attempt to make me feel welcome. The pedicure was rushed as was the manicure. They do not have plexiglass at the manicure stations, so there is no barrier between you and the technician. Nails were rushed and ruff, I will not be back. I should have never gone, but needed a closer place to where I live so I thought I would try them. If you want to feel like an unappreciated customer who is pumped in and pushed out this is your kind of place. read more

This place is huge - so do not let the small store front dissuade you from coming in. There are many people ready to help, and I've only experienced a friendly and helpful staff. Clearly they have a lot of regulars who love them, as I saw friendly hugs and exchanges on more than one occasion. It is so far only my second visit here, but the pedicures have been nothing short of amazing. The price was a relatively standard ($30), but the massage was worth that alone. My poor feet were in dire need of TLC (both times) and that is exactly what I got. Oil massage with smooth hot stones? Yes please!! And the pedicure chairs are also super comfy. Manager is rude. Facility is unclean. Intake system is unorganized so you don't know if you are going to get service or not. The woman who did my nails didn't know what she was doing for a simple manicure, so another staff member stepped in on her own and redid the manicure because she saw the original staff member was so inept. I will never be back at this nail salon. I went in and the gentleman across the room yelled what I wanted. I told him mani and pedi and I needed to soak off dip. He said they were very busy but he sat me in a very back chair to soak my feet. I sat there probably 30 minutes at least. I told the girl I wanted a manicure with the dip soaked off also. Lots of places I've been to soak off the dip while you're getting a pedicure. Apparently not there but fine I will follow the process. Then she proceeds to tell me I would have to wait another 45 minutes to get my manicure and I should come back when they aren't so busy. She asked if I wanted to pay and when I gave her my credit card she asked me how much tip I wanted to include. Very presumptuous considering my experience. I did pay her a cash tip. Terrible experience. The owner was yelling at staff and customers about how understaffed they were. I watched numerous people come in who had appointments and they owner quite literally yelled at them about how understaffed they were. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. After waiting for 45 minutes (when I was told the wait would only be "a few minutes") the same owner rushed through my dip manicure. My nails were not filed evenly, he made them completely rounded after I specifically asked for squared, my tips were put on crooked, and when I asked him to fix my tips before putting the dip on he huffed and puffed. Then he made my cuticle bleed and instead of cleaning it with alcohol or holding a tissue to it he just left it and it smeared across my nail. He went to put the top coat on and I said "hey there is a blood streak across my nail, would you mind wiping that off?" and again, I was met with huffs and puffs. Definitely will not be returning and I would not recommend supporting a place that treats their customers and employees as poorly as this man does. read more

I just got my nails dipped and was obviously unhappy there are white spots on my nails and my nail tech noticed it and never offered a color change she literally laughed about it. Two starts because of the low price. This may have been the worst quality manicure I have received. Hovered over me and watched me while I was picking my powder color. I tried to make conversation and asked if there were any colors that got picked a lot and she laughed and walked away. She never did give her name or talk at all during the manicure other than asking if I wanted to keep the length of my nails. Didn't trim cuticles at all and didn't really shape the two broken nails I had. You can still see my nail through the dip polish in some areas and others are very thick, some of them look a little like the 100 coats of nail polish challenge that was circulating a few months ago. I had to go home and peel my fingers off my nails from the dip powder. I'm not expecting a top of the line experience here but a little clean up or explanation would have been nice. I will not be returning even with the price being low. read more

I got my nails done here. The pedicure went fine, they got my feet done quickly. Then I had to sit around and wait for an extra amount of time for someone to be available to do my nails. The boss ended up doing my nails and he did such a horrible job. They were all messed up and he skipped half of the manicure process. It was all just super rushed and it seemed unnecessary. Finally, the price was waaaayyyy too much for what I got. And I had to tip on top of that.
