Good school I got my class b in2010 passed the 1st time only major problem is they DID NOT train me on a non synchronized transmission no 8speed training or ten speed training.. which is a huge problem considering half the jobs test you on manual non synchronized transmission lol...for 3750$ lil training would have been good read more

Absolutely the best CDL school around. The instructors were top notch. The videos were excellent and extremely useful to prepare for road test. I purchased the 12 hours one on one for the Class B. This was all I needed to pass the one and a half hour road test with the state trooper. In addition to the 12 hours I spent many hours practicing on one of their truck on a Sunday. I practiced the pre inspection test over and over. They provided a video on how to do this. If you follow the video you pass the test. The other video was on the air brakes test. This is where most people flunk the road test. Practice, practice practice. I had to wait 4 weeks for the road test. 3 days before the road test I refreshed everything by going back over everything. You use the instructor time to practice on road driving and maneuvers. If you use their methods for the maneuvers you will pass. When the time came for the road test I was rested, prepared and passed on the first try. read more

This school needed money upfront so l had to take a title loan out on my car to attend the lessons ...they set up a time at 8 am and l work 84 hours a week overnight shift getting out around 6 am of driving....then a 2 hour drive up to Parker.... When I had the first exam the state trooper ask me if I was okay I told him I wasn't feeling too well I had just gotten off of 16 straight hours of driving he handed me back my permit told me you not testing today the school did not prepare you for this you are not ready I took the permit I said you're absolutely right I was not prepared by the school you're right I did not have a lesson for three weeks prior to just getting thrown into the test and I did drive from my job the night before so I was upset I called the school I was considered a failure and under three minutes I didn't actually do anything testing lies and then the school said that they would set up another test for me and I would have a lesson the day before or the day of when they gave me the date of the lesson and of the test I took that time off of work this way I didn't have to worry about that again and the battery terminal in my car broke I told them the day before what had happened and I wasn't going to make it for the 3-hour ride that was up to Taunton Mass they did not listen or care and told me that I was going to be considered an automatic fail you the next day because I couldn't actually make it up there couldn't get a ride it was 3 hours to get a ride up there in 3 hours to get a ride back plus the hour of the lesson that would have been somebody's whole day to try to just get me a ride there so that wasn't going to happen it was way too far away this place did not want to work with me my permit for my class A CDL runs out on the 29th of November and because Parker did not work with me even though they took my money and I have a very high loan that I have to pay on my car it doesn't matter to them they want me to give them $500 cash before the 29th and then they will try to get me in to retest me they just want money I'm so sick of it I can't believe they didn't back me up like they should have I'm disappointed I paid a lot of money and only did three lessons cost me over $2,000 and I failed out of that school because I could not make it to the Taunton site I couldn't it's so far away from Rockport Massachusetts and they don't care so they gave me a high bills and I don't need that and now I have a school that I finished the three classes but now I have a bill I have to pay in my permit will run out and thank God I work 84 hours a week so I can still survive cuz I'm going to need my car seeing as I'm living in it now read more

I was fortunate enough to take the Basic Rider Course motorcycle class with Marty and JP this weekend. I had planned to simply start riding a scooter to work, but figured I should take this class first. Wow, this class is so extremely helpfu even for me as one who cycles most places in NYC now. You will learn so much from these guys and you will feel far more confident and safer on the road for the rest of your life. If you want to become a commercial driver, Parker is definitely the school to go to! I checked out a competitor, which was only 15 minutes away from home and I left there feeling like a number. Without going into details the conversation was surprisingly very discouraging as well. I accidentally found Parker online the same day they were having an orientation in which I attended. The school was 1 - 1.5 hours away and within 10 minutes of walking in, I knew that's where I would be going. The staff was so friendly and down-to-earth and patiently took the time to answer my questions. I was 1 of 2 females in a class of 8 attending the weekend class. The small class and the 1 on 1 attention at Parker was incredible. The staff was always very professional, positive & encouraging starting from the office staff; class and driving instructors; and management/ owners. Embarrassing to say that I was one of the few in my class that needed a few tries to pass the final exam only because I got in my own way (the overthinker that I am). The majority of my class passed on their 1st or 2nd try. The staff at Parker never stopped encouraging and provided additional 1 on 1 training till I finally obtained my Class A license. I had a great experience and learned a lot from this school. The ladies at the front are such sweethearts, they genuinely want you to succeed and will bend over backwards to help you. The management team is great as well, although there was a mishap they were able and willing to step in and make everything right. My daughter took her drivers education class over April vacation. The instructor was constantly on her phone during class hours. At the end of the class she told her students if they return their drivers manual they will get extra credit on their final test. This should have never happened because that is included in the over all payment and the kids should have to reference back to before they take their road test. When it came time to booking driving hours to get her in there was a wait for a month or two and they only did driving hours on the weekdays between 2-4 and morning and afternoon on the weekend. When her first driving lesson arrived her instructor texted her to cancel because she had a "headache" this day happened to be raining which would have been a perfect learning experience for her. Her instructor also told her not to call the office to reschedule this appointment. I did call the office to find out that this is their ONLY driving instructor (and this is the same lady that teaches the class) and they also informed me that she makes her own hours. When I talked to the office lady to see if we could reschedule to a weekday after 3:30 the lady said the instructor refuses to drive at night with the kids. When children are starting out with a driving school they should be able to drive in all weather conditions unless a state of emergency, and during the day and night to get used to driving to prepare for their road test. read more
