I have been riding off and on for over 20 years. I signed up with my wife (her first time riding) and did not expect more than a refresher. The class started off a little slow for me but soon enough became challenging. The staff are amazing with the students who ranged across the board on experience levels. Very knowledgeable and patient. Even when you think you're doing everything right they pull your attention to smaller details that make you a better and safer rider. The stress of the license test is relaxed quite a bit also since you've already spent two days with the instructors. I highly recommend this course for whatever reason you have (insurance discount, refresher, don't own a bike and want your license). The basic riders course well exceeded my expectations. My coaches Rich and Bob were professional, approachable and very informative through out this entire experience. I was most impressed with their ability to focus individually on each riders fears, strengths and weaknesses for personal progression. After this course I was confident enough to take my permit test the following day, pass and go on a ride with my dad through out town on my moms Suzuki boulevard VZ800. If you are new to riding than the Basic Riding Course is for you. The instructors are extremely helpful and will give you the guidance needed to be streetwise. I had never ridden a motorcycle before, and they were extremely helpful and patient. I feel confident enough after this course to start riding and being safe while doing so. This course provides information for the first time rider and those looking to better their abilities. Our rider coach Rich took the time to constructively critique and give advice to everyone throughout the weekend. Everyone came out of the experience better informed and better riders. This class is the best. I went in knowing nothing about motorcycles. At the end, I was actually riding and was comfortable with the motorcycle. I could not believe it.
