The teachers are enthusiastic and passionate about learning and make every single day fun. The small class sizes allow for a strong nurturing relationships between staff and students, and my child feels welcomed and loved already. I appreciate that Delphi's reading program teaches students to read at such a young age and provides them with a genuine love for learning. It isn't forced upon them and that was something I loved when I went- I became a strong independent learner which helped me through college and into my career. Many of the staff that worked there when I was young are still present- which means a lot in this day and age. After a few weeks our son already loves his class, his teacher Miss Pam and the fun activities they do daily- art, music, outside time twice a day, painting, reading class, etc

Needham Driving School was a really bad experience. The instructors didn't seem to know the rules…read moreof the road very well, and some were really mean. One instructor kept asking if I could see. She's slammed on the brakes many times for no reason. I would understand if I was doing something unsafe but like it was literally every single turn. She also yelled at me and made up weird situations, like saying I hit a person when I had a green light. Like no, there fully wasn't a pedestrian there. And if there was, I would've stopped. I remember once a light turned yellow but I had plenty of time. It was gonna make it through before it turned red. The instructor slammed on her brakes and we ended up in the middle of the intersection because there was absolutely no way to stop before the light. We then sat there until our light turned green again and we were blocking traffic. the whole cycle she would not let me go, even though we were in the middle of the intersection Scheduling lessons was also a nightmare. They say lessons are posted at noon on Wednesdays, but they're actually gone way before that. You have to check super early and keep refreshing the page. A lot of the instructors corrected me every two seconds, and didn't give me any room to learn or practice on my own. It felt like they wouldn't let me try to figure things out, which was really frustrating. The classroom part was okay, but the driving part was awful. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

When we mis-pronounced something or made another mistake, Isabella pounced on us, instead of letting us finish and then correcting us. Since we were not taught the sounds of Italian and since we were beginners, it's to be expected that we'd make mistakes. I'm not objecting to being corrected--I want that--but it's very jarring when she interrupts and speaks over us. I got very little from the class.

Although it was a sweet smooth process getting my son enrolled in the school and the staff was so…read morefriendly, it quickly took a turn for the worse. My son struggles with some social emotional skills in especially new environments and as a first-time parent I am still learning and navigating my new life as a mother. However, I feel that Latoya could've done a better job as a director in immediately providing me with strategics and possible solutions on the situation rather than making me feel like a failure as a parent. Not even a hour after dropping of my son, I received a rushed call to pick my son up. When I got there, I had asked Latoya if I could speak to her privately about my son to which she stated he had to be present. I disagreed because it is inappropriate and unprofessional and yet she still protested against my request until she finally gave in. Once we were in a private room, her attitude and demeanor changed to a judgmental, insensitive and unprofessional woman. I felt belittled and disrespected on so many levels because I feel like if she had a calmer, collected, empathic and understanding first initial approach with me things wouldn't have escalated the way it did. She raised her voice on multiple occasions and even raised her finger to point at me which I found offensive. She falsely accused me of justifying my son's behavior without understanding that he may have mental health disorder that prevent him from expressing his words correctly to strangers he does not yet know well . She failed to comprehend that as a mother I am my sons biggest and only advocate and was trying to understand what was going on. My encounter with her has been the worse experience ever. I am quite shocked myself because everything was so good and smooth in the beginning. Overall, I feel like the situation could've been handled better by expressing empathy, patience and professionalism with a calm and collected tone of voice. In the end, you have to be sensitive and gentle with people because you don't really know what's going on in their lives and it's not okay to belittle others. I wish she would've provided alternative solutions and other options rather than guilt tripping me. When I emailed her stating I was leaving a negative review, she quickly stated she had all this information and informative resources that will better assist me on my situation. However, I've been waiting ever since, and she continues to neglect the matter. Luckily, I found a backup plan and have a strong support system and all the resources I need. The learning Experience definitely lacks well trained staff members and could benefit more with additional training and a stronger resourceful leader who isn't riding a high horse.

She is also quite patient, I was that parent that called a lot and she has not ever turned me away but, she listened and gave reassurance and advice where needed. I give her 100 stars!!!
