Now my little one is being nurtured by the most wonderful toddler teachers (there is no one better than Miss Tina!) and I'm amazed at her growth already in just a short time in the class (2 weeks ago, she wouldn't let go of my fingers and now she is full-on running, yikes!). Management has seen a lot of turnover (there have been 5 different directors since 2015), as is seen in the industry sometimes, but we are so happy with the addition of Kaitlyn and Amy this year - they are so warm and inviting with the kids (and comforting presences for jittery parents). In these strange times especially, you need a comforting, safe environment for your little ones, and Kindercare has provided that for our family. We love that they use an app to update parents with pictures and daily schedules - since we can't be in the classroom, it's our only window to their day and I live for those pictures!

This is by far the BEST day care center for your money in the entirety of Eastern Massachusetts. I know this because I have looked in every town from Salem to Plymouth (and everywhere in between), and anywhere you look, the rates are outrageous, the staff's responsiveness is horrendous, and the flexibility / hours are absurd. What working mother is able to pick her child up by 4:30pm?! Anybody? I didn't think so. My daughter has been attending LDI for almost a year, and the experience has been absolutely above and beyond anything I ever expected. On top of the rates being completely reasonable, the Director, Jessica, always answers emails within 24 hours (usually less), the staff is fantastic about communicating with parents, they follow all regulations set forth by the government, the facility is very clean, the playgrounds (that's right, there are two) are HUGE and tidy, and the people who work for LDI seem to genuinely love their jobs. The level of education is also a huge plus - my daughter knew her entire alphabet by 20 months, which may not be "advanced" per se, but it's much better than I could've done on my own! If that wasn't enough for you, Summer programming includes a magic show for all the families, a farm visit, picnics, Bubble Man, Olympics, and several family events to increase parent involvement in the childrens' day care experience. One more thing - they listen. If you have a comment, complaint, or encouragement, it will be heard and implemented if possible (and reasonable). LOVE this day care. Don't ever want to leave. Finding a suitable place with availability under normal circumstance would've been stressful enough, but throw in COVID on top of it, it was crazy hectic tense. However, from the moment we contacted GQCC and going in for visit, Paula made us feel at home. We appreciate Paula always being so readily available and answering all our question - promptly and friendly. Our three wonderful teachers are positive, welcoming, and informative. They happily greet us when we arrive and give us warm send off when we leave. We honestly feel our precious son is well taken care of at GQCC happily playing with his friends and learning, giving us huge sense of relief, and allowing us to focus on work. I am satisfied with my son's development and socialization. My son talks about his friends and teachers all the time at home. =) I love GQCC's facility and playground, app they use to send us daily pictures and updates (allows us to communicate directly with teachers, too), and meals/ snacks are provided.

The center operates year-round from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., eliminating the need for additional aftercare or summer programs. Tuition is transparent, with no hidden fees, and includes a full meal plan and three additional enrichment activities. Although our child can be a picky eater at home, he has become much more willing to try new foods at daycare. GQCC also offers a large playground and is conveniently located near a highway exit. Our child receives Early Intervention services, and the staff have been exceptional in collaborating with EI providers and expanding strategies to support regulation and sensory development. Teachers are always accessible for check-ins, and we regularly receive photos and updates about daily activities. GQCC is a wonderful center with caring, attentive, and professional staff. My son started at the Red House Academy when he was 2 years, 8 months. I wanted to get some more socialization going for him as soon as I could. I was excited to hear that they would start him as a toddler, then transition him to the preschool program at 2 years, 9 months... The official MA preschool age. So, he has been attending for 7 months, 2 mornings a week (right thru the summer). Despite frequent staff changes, I think they are doing a really good job. It is a new business, so I think it's evolving. There is a new director, Kay, she is friendly and outgoing. One of the toddler teachers Jenna was recently promoted to Assistant Director. I like them both very much. My family has had schedule craziness and they've been totally accommodating. The toddler "daycare" teachers seem very competent, clearly love the kids and smile a lot. I personally think that's important, to bring your kids to school to a place where the staff aren't hating life. There is a new preschool teacher, Ms. G. Recently she told us she was fine with it if we wanted to try big boy undies at school. She assured us that she would encourage our son to go every hour. At the end of that first day we had no accidents at school... Because she wasn't afraid of the possibility of having to clean up accidents. I thought that was pretty awesome. In the short time Kay has been the director, there is a private FB page up & running where you can see pictures and videos and get info. Recently added is a link where you can get specific info about your own kid's day. Speaking of privacy & safety, the staff is very much aware of safety issues. Except for pickup and dropoff times the doors are locked. It's a small school so the staff knows who is picking up the kids and who is unusual. They made me sign a form it it was ok to take my son's picture and post on the FB page. They understand that being a parent is hectic and it's easy to forget stuff. I appreciate that they typically give lots of advance notice for anything we are supposed to remember and repeated reminders. Most importantly, my son is happy when I pick him up from school and he is learning. They have a lot of diversity in their day, different activities, crafts, writing, reading, free play time both inside and on the playground. They take little group walks on the back roads behind they school. On hot summer days they can bring swimsuits sometimes and get to go in the sprinkler. I feel like the teachers and staff are working hard to make sure that the kids aren't bored. Also, the school is extremely clean. I would recommend it! But word is getting out, so join fast. Our daughter has been in home care, so I felt this was a good preschool to transition, a more structure setting, but small enough to not be overwhelming. Their schedule and hours are flexible enough to work with my commute to/from Boston daily that also was hugely important. The Director, Ms. Ashita, has been lovely to deal with, her attitude and presence made me feel much more comfortable as a first time mom. Ms. Thelma is very engaging with the children, and seems to work well with them individually based on their personality and needs. Red House thus far has been great, and we look forward to watching our daughter grow and learn new things.
