Not only did it prepare him for kindergarten (writing his first and last name, eating lunch within 30 minutes, etc) but he learned so much through the other programming (Black History month, Women's History month). He adores every single teacher and director at Merry Deb, and he was so excited to get to go back for "summer camp" for a few weeks this summer in between the other camps he is attending. If you are looking for a pre-school in the area, I cannot recommend Merry Deb highly enough!

Closer to the appointment, I was able to narrow down the timeline to know their eta. The young man who came out was polite and professional and efficient. He was able to clear the trap and vacuum out all of the hair/soap-scum/toothpaste that was causing the clog. They invoiced us through email, charge $250, which we were able to pay with a click. I would definitely use them again for responsiveness and ease of use.

I spoke to Jim on the phone to book the service, and he was really friendly and helpful. He said his wife Rose would be in touch with a quote after I texted some pictures of the room. I don't know who I was texting with in the end. They quoted me $100. The two workers arrived right on time, were very polite, and did a beautiful job! However, they spoke no English and used a phone app to communicate. (You speak into the phone, they read the Portuguese that's generated, then they speak into the phone and it spits out English. Who knows how accurate it is.) I lived in a foreign country for 6 years and while I wasn't fluent, I had basic proficiency in the language... admittedly I worked in an industry where people spoke English, but for day-to-day things I was glad I could read and handle basic conversations. (This was pre-smart phone.) I'd love to hire Rose's Cleaning for their organizing service, but can't imagine how you'd do that with someone you couldn't talk to. They get good reviews for that, so maybe I'll try it. I'm skeptical but interested. If all you need is cleaning it probably doesn't matter that you can't communicate without a phone translator. Their work was beautiful and they were punctual and polite. All of that is great. I'm glad they could fit us in!

They came for an assessment and identified all potential entryways for the mice. Two days later they spent 7 hours working non stop sealing all the crevices and holes in the wall, even patched up the inside of my cabinets with steel and cement. Afterwards traps were set around the apartment. They even fixed my leaking sink and water pressure in my faucet and realigned one of my cabinets. I can tell this company takes pride in their work. Tuition is transparent, with no hidden fees, and includes a full meal plan and three additional enrichment activities. Although our child can be a picky eater at home, he has become much more willing to try new foods at daycare. GQCC also offers a large playground and is conveniently located near a highway exit. Our child receives Early Intervention services, and the staff have been exceptional in collaborating with EI providers and expanding strategies to support regulation and sensory development. They have made lots of friends and are constantly talking about all the fun activities they do at the center. Both of our girls started when they were just a few months old. Eila is now almost 4 and Maebh is 19 months old. The pandemic has been challenging but the center staff got us all through it so far safely and my daughter Eila was able to quickly make up ground in her language skills after staying home for several months when the pandemic first hit. Now she's talkative as ever and even is writing her own name. Maebh is strong-willed and loving and she enjoys spending time with other kids and her teachers. I would not recommend The Goddard, Medfield. I paid a non-refundable (don't know if any daycare really does that but they do) monthly deposit to enroll my kid in the Goddard, Medfield and unfortunately, the pandemic hit. I understand the center is closed and the joining date is being moved but it has been more than 2 years now and I still haven't got a proper joining date for my kid. Every time I try to follow up on the joining date the only word they said was they were fully booked and gave a date after ~ 6 months, well if you call closer to that date they say that you were late in calling and we don't have any availability and gave me another date after ~5-6 months. The one comment I didn't like from the head of the school was you paid your deposit and it is your responsibility to follow up and find a date, if you are late in calling us it is your fault. I know the issue started with the pandemic but the real issue was the communication from the school on enrolling my kid, every time I call I get a new date of joining and I had to scramble to find another place for my kid which could be really tricky. I lost my non-refundable deposit but I finally, took the decision that I am not going to have my kid join this school because I am worried about what other issues they might have internally if their communication and leadership are like this and I am not risking that with my kid.
