The directors and administrative staff were incredible as well. Our son had some health issues during his time there and I cannot say enough about how amazing everyone was in helping him and us during that time. They became like an extended family to us. They also did a great job with cleaning protocols and managing pandemic-related challenges. The facility itself is clean, bright, and safe. Next Generation Walpole is a caring, supportive, nurturing program where children can thrive, and families are supported.

Finding a suitable place with availability under normal circumstance would've been stressful enough, but throw in COVID on top of it, it was crazy hectic tense. However, from the moment we contacted GQCC and going in for visit, Paula made us feel at home. We appreciate Paula always being so readily available and answering all our question - promptly and friendly. Our three wonderful teachers are positive, welcoming, and informative. They happily greet us when we arrive and give us warm send off when we leave. We honestly feel our precious son is well taken care of at GQCC happily playing with his friends and learning, giving us huge sense of relief, and allowing us to focus on work. The center operates year-round from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., eliminating the need for additional aftercare or summer programs. Tuition is transparent, with no hidden fees, and includes a full meal plan and three additional enrichment activities. Although our child can be a picky eater at home, he has become much more willing to try new foods at daycare. GQCC also offers a large playground and is conveniently located near a highway exit. Our child receives Early Intervention services, and the staff have been exceptional in collaborating with EI providers and expanding strategies to support regulation and sensory development. Teachers are always accessible for check-ins, and we regularly receive photos and updates about daily activities. GQCC is a wonderful center with caring, attentive, and professional staff. My Wife and I were actively searching for a daycare to begin this September for infant care. We drive past this location everyday. It's located at a very busy intersection of Route 18 and Route 58. It's not a huge place and taking a left there seems pretty difficult, especially during rush hour. We both work, and all of the daycare facilities have been very accommodating in scheduling tours (because they're open until after work hours because that's why people need daycare!). Well, that accommodation ended with this place. I called up in the morning at 8:15, they're open for a bit by that point. The person I spoke with had no clue about tours or scheduling tours...they said I'd get a call back from the director who was not there yet. I finally got a call back...two days later. Then when I explained again what I was interested in because the first person didn't take notes, they seemed annoyed that we wanted to tour around 4:45/5pm. They said they'd need to look into it and call me back. That was about three months ago now. They haven't called back and they won't. If their customer service, attention to detail, diligence at their job, and professionalism is exhibited by their behavior in just trying to schedule a tour then how do they care for your child?

All 3 of my children had different learning styles and needs. 1 needed to be challenged: She raised the bar with cultural subjects -- Teaching about other countries, animals (turtles live in the classroom), time, history, music, movement, science, art, play and performances. My middle child needed more practical life skills (how to tie his shoes and put on his coat, prepare snacks and drinks, go to the bathroom without help, and clean up after himself) and Sensory/Self & Body Awareness - Linda saw a need here that year and brought in someone to teach the students (and teachers) Brain Gym (google it). My last was/is my most challenging, as she is extremely anxious/shy and has a non-verbal learning disability and auditory processing disorder. The 3rd year she was there, she received almost exclusive 1 on 1 teaching with Linda's classroom assistant teacher. All of the teachers are wonderful, they have all worked for Linda for years and therefor they all have great working and personal relationships. Currently my niece and nephew are students as are all of my cousins children and I am slightly jealous to not be a part of the school anymore. I miss Linda, Chris, Fran, Anne and Nancy! Your children will be in excellent hands! ..Important: They also have a summer program for working parents (or non-working parents) and every week in the summer there is a new theme and field trip. Noteworthy: When my oldest son went to 1st grade with another classmate from Step Ahead, the teacher didn't really know what to do with them because they were so far ahead of their peers.

My children are happy and extremely well cared for by all the teachers. The owner and Kindergarten teacher Linda has been an absolute God send to me when it comes to helping me with the education of my two children. She knows the ability and needs of all her students. I choose this school over the public kindergarten because I see how my children have grown to love learning because Step Ahead is so well organized and enjoyable for the kids. My kids don't want to leave at the end of the day and I am always welcome to stay for a few minutes to talk to any of the staff about my children's day. These teachers and after school helpers are caring, bright, creative and the best!! I am a public school teacher of 15 years so I know great leaders and teachers when I see them!!

We have been very happy with BY over the years, and still make the drive from Medway each day to bring my daughter to/from BY. I think the best park of BY are the amazing teachers! Each classroom has a special group of teachers that are just wonderful and have really become an extension of our family. The staff is fantastic. They're all very competent, patient, and loving. My older child has a flair for the dramatic, but they handle her sometimes grandiose tantrums calmly and lovingly. They have a very stable staff; remarkably low turnover compared to most program. This was very important to me. When your children spend close to 30 hours a week somewhere, it needs to feel safe, secure, comfortable. High levels of turnover would make that impossible. My children are very attached to their teachers. The curriculum at the center is exemplary. They use a lot of targeted play that allows children to learn and develop skills while enjoying themselves. For example, in any given day, my kids look forward to playing in the sensory table ( filled with anything from coffee beans to shaving cream), the imaginative play area (that is set up as a grocery store this week and a doctor's office the next), outside on the play ground, taking a field trip to the post office, having the music lady / yoga lady / tumble bus come, meeting in small groups to work on counting skills, and more. Another feature that was very important to me when I was selecting a center was NAEYC accreditation. It's hard to compare programs; you should be able to hear positive things about any center, and it's hard to know you found a good one until you're already entrenched. But NAEYC accredited programs are relatively few. This accreditation was important to me for two reasons. A) you can't get that accreditation unless your curriculum is up to the association's high standards, and B) it is a lot of work to get and maintain, and thus shows that the center believes that "good enough" really isn't good enough; that they want excellence. The program is top-notch. I adore BY. Even more importantly, my children adore BY. More days than not, my daughter is disappointed when I come to pick her up. I hear "No, I'm not ready to go. We're just about to read another story/go outside/dance/ play in the imaginative play area." For me, that says everything.
