I hired CMS Moving Services for a move on March 28, 2026. During the move, the owner observed that my dryer door glass had been damaged. He acknowledged the damage and advised that he would replace the glass. When the door was returned, the glass appeared dark/painted and was not restored to its original condition. Over the following weeks, there were multiple delays, inconsistent arrival times, and communication issues while attempting to resolve the problem. My concerns extended beyond the dryer damage. The company charged by the hour and during my move there were multiple breaks taken while the clock was still running. There was also a significant delay between arriving at my old address and arriving at my new address which added to my frustration with the overall experience. Because I was not comfortable with the condition of the repair, I ultimately contacted LG and had the dryer professionally repaired. On April 30, 2026, an LG-authorized technician replaced the dryer door. The repair cost was $404.98. I provided the repair documentation and requested reimbursement, allowing 10 business days for a response. Reimbursement was refused. I was also disappointed with the way concerns were handled after I raised the issue. Communication became argumentative and there were instances where items were left at my home without prior coordination. My experience was frustrating not only because of the original damage but because of the delays, communication issues, handling of the repair, and lack of resolution afterward. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision when choosing a moving company. read more

DO NOT DO IT! i paid them over $1,500 to move me. And as I was telling him what was important and what was not. He got upset. They damaged a good majority of my furniture and said it was already like that. I told him I wanted them to do three hours. They prolonged the job 10 hours. You can't send payment though Apple pay or Cash App. You have to try multiple times to get it to go through and the reason for that because he is fraud. Because he has complains in the past and they will NOT refund you for his work on CashApp or ApplePay. So whatever he damaged is YOUR lost. Save you $ and DO NOT use his services. It will cost you in the end. read more

I used this company to move from Memphis to Bentonville and let's just say it was an easy move. Mr. Lawson (owner) made sure everything went smoothly. He was able to wrap my furniture securely and make sure it was stored properly. His crew was quick and was able to set my rooms up how I wanted it to be once in Bentonville, AR. I'd definitely recommend this company and they are affordable as well. I will be using them again soon. read more

Update:CMS response to my review is to post photos of my home publicly (added screenshot from fb) call me prejudice and insinuate race is an issue. I am disgusted with this man. He thinks i wanted him to damage my items purposefully. Who would hires movers hoping they damage their stuff?! Are you insane? I didn't ask for this headache. How dare you take advantage of people with your deceptive methods. Slow!!! Not punctual! Not respectful or honest. I feel extremely taken advantage of. I should have taken the hints when the team was late and he told me he started my clock at 930 on top of him mentioning his business used to be under another name but was shutdown by the betterbusinessbureau and google. Let me start off with saying that I have moved 6 times in the last 5 years for work. This has been the worst moving business I have ever worked with. I intended to deal with my concerns only by speaking with the Owner Mr. J. I included our very limited interaction as he instantly BLOCKED my number after sending the first message of my concerns. This is a very unprofessional way to do business, which is exactly why I am leaving this public review as a warning. I believe everyone has a chance to redeem themselves and yet he took that opportunity and shit all over it. Back story I moved 3 months prior using 2 men from another company, with my same items(2bd apt), and same size truck. It took these men 4hrs to load, drive, unload. First, I booked my move for 9 am for first 2hrs. I estimated my time to take 2-3hr(max) as I was driving cross state same day and checking out with my landlord. The evening before Mr.J informed me he would be there with 2 other men between 9-10. The first guy showed up at 930. Mr. J and the other member showed up at 1030. 1.5hrs late from my original booking with bo excuse or communication that they were late. When I asked if they were at another job he said no, I was his first job. No reason was given for his lack of punctuality. When he arrived he told me my time started at 930 when the first guy started moving boxes (outside solo but did not load as it was his first week on the job- he clearly stated he would not load till mr.j was there). Mr. J and the crew did not start loading anything until 1048(talk about wasted time) the fact that he says he offered me a 3rd man for free means nothing when it took his team 6hrs!!! To complete a job that has never taken more than 3 hrs between 2 people in the last 5 years. I was upset but did not say anything as I am not confrontational. However toward the end at 255 (3hrs past the norm for this job) the truck was loaded all for one mattress. I asked him to go ahead and bill me now as my landlord was supposed to be here at 3 for checkout. Instead him and his guys took a short break of drinking Gatorade, standing around instead of loading this last mattress. So his team and him finally finish loading at 3:01. Then he takes another 8 mins to work up my bill and proceeds to charge me for another quarter hour by marking my end time as now 315 instead of 309(moot point) yet he feels it was acceptable to show up late and charge me a first full hour at full cost when only 1 man moved items from inside to outside(no loading and no real progress made) then proceeded to charge me another 15 mins while he sipped Gatorade and wrote a bill that did not even reach the next 15 mins. This is so absurd to me. Other issues that went wrong. He charged me for 2 extra heavy dresser(this was never discussed beforehand) because his men argued to leave the filled drawers inside when I explicitly asked them to move the dresser without the drawers due to valuable and fragile items being inside. I also states multiple times the dressers needed to stay horizontal because of the fragile items. I asked them to remove the drawers out the dresser on truck and slide drawers back inside for safe travel. Instead the put the drawers inside the dresser, wrapped in and proceeded to tip it vertically in the air. All those breakables and loose items went crashing to the end in the dresser. I have a 4 day trip cross country and have yet to see the damage that has occurred because of this. I can only assume this was intentional to recoup additional fees for moving heavy items. As I've said moving these two dresser has ever(rest of review in photos) read more

Extremely disappointed in this company. I had 4 guys (which was offered and I did not request) move me. Very slow service. One guy was barely even helping. The owner talks alot and the move was very unorganized. The owner is very snappy and defensive when you have a concern. The level of service was disappointing and I've used the many years with no issues. They did give us a refund but I was still stuck having to pay someone else to move the rest of my stuff because they were just too slow. read more

awful customer service. scraped walls of both new and old house. requested help moving items and gave an attitude when not obliged.

This by far has been the worst experience I've ever had with a moving company. My original move was scheduled at 4 PM on a Friday. I had to call their supervisor 30 minutes before hand to follow up to make sure we were on schedule and he had to call me back to find out where His team was. Needless to say they were stuck on another job which was not quoted properly according to him. So he move me to Saturday at 9 AM. Well that didn't go as planned. Nothing but lies and deception. Long story short my move got moved to 1 o'clock. They had to find another moving truck because allegedly this idiot got into an accident in an area he was not supposed to even be in. 1 o'clock came and went and still no truck as it 2 PM 3 PM and 4 PM. Once again I had to call the office to find out what was going on because communication evidently is not their strong point. I kept gettingBullshit ass excuses and apologies. Finally after 4 PM the truck arrived and they begin moving my stuff from the garage into the truck. Backtracking a bit the two gentlemen that did arrive at 1 PM we get moving my stuff from inside the house into the garage of course I had to pay for their time to move it from in the house to the garage and then from the garage into the truck. The only compensation that I was given was the truck fee. In response: Concerned about your accident? The owner of the company said you were in an area you had no business being in. Furthermore, you were late. So your response means absolutely nothing to me. Bad business all around. I don't care what your reply is. You go ahead and keep trying I wouldn't wish you on my worst enemy. Stay blessed read more

This is quite decent moving company to work with. I have great respect for the manager Mr June. He has great work ethic, was very respectful and was prompt with responses. He wrapped up and made sure our furniture was safe during the transit. But it appears the overall team may have some trouble in maintaining decorum. I paid for a service that included three people to help with move. But for a good chunk of the time, only two people were available. This kind of took my estimate off since I was expecting the work would be done sooner. Otherwise you could still trust Mr.J's words on the service quality. read more

Do not use this moving company. The owner says he is offering you a 3rd mover free. After reading other reviews now, it appears he uses this as a way to avoid any fault or issues because his response is always well I offered you a third mover free. Let me tell you, he must always use 3 movers and they were slower than a 2 man op. I never asked for a 3rd mover. Late, slow, and if you have any issues, he places blame on the customer and says his third mover "free" makes up for any of your issues. I implore you to dig up his negative reviews. They all sound similar to my experience. I wish I had known. read more

I used contract movers to unload a moving truck that I drove from Ohio. I moved into a third floor apartment. The movers were very professional, friendly, quick, and did a great job! Their prices are very reasonable as well. I will be using them again the next time I move! read more

We were looking for a moving company and reached out to this company. Thank God my wife read the reviews first. The obnoxious responses from the owner is amazing. No apologies just places blame on the customer. Once again YELP! comes through. read more

We contracted with these guys to make a local move. Problems with our buyer's loan caused us to have to change the move date multiple times. When we finally had a solid date for the move they said they most likely couldn't be here until after 2:00. He was to call me back by 6:00 that evening to confirm. No call that night or the next two days. We made the decision to go with another mover. I would not recommend this company. The person I spoke with about the change was defensive and full of excuses. We lost our deposit and learned a lesson: cheaper isn't always better. You do get what you pay for. read more

Cms movers are the worst movers I have ever used. They are extremely slow. They moved a one Bedroom apartment for me. They scheduled my move time as 10-11 Am. They showed up at 11:40 am, they didn't finish loading until 3:00 PM. Outrageous. Then they asked for my Door Key claiming they would arrive at the Apartment first. They arrived 45 minutes after I did. I stood outside 45 minutes waiting for Them absurd. When they finally arrived they was moving extremely slow. My family finally jumped in and unloaded the Truck. My moved began at 11:40 am and ended at 7:00 PM due to my family helping unload. CMS is a horrible moving Company. They go slow to add time on your bill. I paid for 6.5 hours for a one bedroom apartment to move 58 miles away. I will never used them ever again. Cheaters, Beware of this Company. One of my containers was busted and I am still looking for my items. Worst experience ever with any moving Company. I will never use these scheister again. Good bye. read more
