i had hired Albert to do a major repair in 2024. most of his work is okay but he made a lot of…read moremistakes. the shower hose was cheap and dripping I changed to a better quality but it still dripped he refused to fix. he connected a double sink but only one drain was connected he came back but still did. it fix I hired someone else to fix my dripping shower and the drain in double sink. he left a hole on my hose where he removed my outside faucet. my kitchen screen had two holes and a broken blind. when he did base paint on house he painted blinds shelves my two acs. he threatened me when I complained during his work that I could move back into empty house with the bathroom gutted and the house with three large holes in floor I gave him a year and 1/2 trying to fix all the mistakes. things were stolen from me. in a room that had paneling he got sky blue paint on a beautiful pair of curtains that I asked about many times. I am a senior he swore and yelled at me when I complained because he drained my insurance company. he told me I should get plank flooring it was not installed correctly and I am handicapped he told me I could not use my rollenater. it was falling apart . DONT HIRE HIM IF YOU WANT THE JOB DONE GOOD. there are so many other things but too much to answer. He used a lot of cheap items and spread the time but not working every day so he would get more Money I am filing other complaints against him

She said "you will have to replace these windows and get aluminum or vynal." There were 8 windows in the apartment. The cost would have been $7 to $8K. She did give me the names of a couple of companies that do restoration and specialize in lead. I called Good Deeds and spoke to Mike. He came out and suggested re-glazing the windows. The windows came out great and looked new for about half the price of new windows. In addition the apartment was a real mess and we had to pass the inspection because the house was in the process of being sold. Mike said no problem. So I had them do the cleaning as well and the apartment passed! They even helped me with a couple of issues on the outside of the building This co really cares about their customers and the work they do. They have a lot of experience with lead and know what works. I am so happy I called Good Deeds!​

I threw him out of my house. The owner called and told the man who was painting to leave the job unless I paid the balance. They were so unprofessional and nasty. They lost a paint sample that my other company I used for different cupboards sent them and this was on the day work was suppose to start. The owner wasn't even apologetic when I expressed my disappointment. They sent one man to do the entire job. They took my door and drawer fronts to the shop and didn't finish them until the day they were coming back to place them. They promised more than one man but there was just the one man who did all the painting Jason. Ed and Mike the owner are in the 40s of 50s. Jason is only 25 and he was the most professional respectful, one of them all. If it wasn't for him, I would've canceled the whole job and got my money back. Just beware that the owner and Ed are nice as long as nothing goes wrong. If it does go wrong and you show your dismay they attack you by yelling and threatening. Imagine telling Jason to walk off the job and leave me in a mess. All because they lost the sample and then later the cabinets didn't come out totally well and needed to be touched up and they were mad at that and said if they had to touch it up I would be charged more. Ed said that to me. Then later denied it. The owner told Jason to walk off job then denied Last thing Mike did want to apologize to me but I wasn't home A year later we hade personally had to touch up spots over a dozen times. I would not have them paint your cabinets. Anything else they do I don't know.

After having nearly a dozen big-name siding contractors to our house to give us a quote on vinyl…read moresiding (I won't name them because this review isn't about them, but if you've seen them at a trade show or recognize their name in Rhode Island, I guarantee you we had them over for a quote) meeting Andrew was exactly the fresh sales experience we needed. Easy going, engaging, knowledgeable (but not pushy), helpful, and with a true passion for his product we couldn't believe we finally had a contractor that listened to us. Middle class product for a middle class house on a middle class budget. Don't get me wrong, he has high product material to sell and his team as the craftsmanship to install it. We just aren't that customer. After 10+ quotes telling us it was going to be 55k, 62k, 70k and MORE to put vinyl on our 1900 square foot raised ranch (and some contractors refused to even quote vinyl, insisting we put on Hardy board...), Andrew listened to what we actually needed, matched us to the product we wanted, and came in at a price we couldn't resist. We didn't even let him leave our house that day until we signed a contract. We've never regretted that decision since. It turns out the passion for his product and the care his team took to make sure the install was correct wasn't just a show. 99% of the install went perfectly. The handful of extremely minor hiccups here and there I spotted were fixed immediately, without the usual hewing and hawing I get from other contractors we've had do work on the house. Problem, identified, problem fixed, work continued. Andrew was incredibly responsive and patient with us as customers as well. Worked with us to get the colors we wanted (a lot of it custom ordered) and worked with his supplier to cut us a deal when we suddenly changed our minds about color and re-ordered some things. He patiently waited as we took WAYYYY more time than we should picking a gutter color. He even arranged for a door installer to come help us out when our custom ordered doors didn't arrive in time for this project. No problems from Andrew. He called a buddy, arranged for a later install, and is sending his crew back out to the house to trim and finish the new doors even though they've been done on the house now for weeks. Just an incredible customer service experience. My only complaint with the whole thing is that Andrew isn't a general contractor who I can have back to do other projects. If I could get an electrician, plumber, carpenter and painter to give me his level of craftsmanship and professional knowledge at the prices he charges I'd spend every weekend sitting on my ass and hiring him for EVERYTHING. 10/10. Would hire again. Would recommend to a friend.

He is kind, courteous and more than fair. His prices are very reasonable. He kept touch with us throughout the project whenever there was an unexpected issue or a choice to be made. He also returned a couple times to rectify a couple small things (like a drafty cellar window and a new door handle to replace a slightly marked up one, I am picky!) The quality of his work is very nice (i was worried about the finish look of the interior of our window casings, but they came out perfect) I would recommend Richard to my family without question. Its a pleasure to work with a business that takes pride in their work and actually values their reputation.

I needed to have the roof replaced on the estate house within 30 days for insurance purposes. I contacted Vaz Construction and was connected with Elijah DeSouzs as my project manger. He was the best. Kept in touch with me on a timely basis, always on time for on-site appointments, knowledgeable about the roof products and friendly and kind. We were able to get the job done within my time frame. The roofing crew worked from morning until night and they were great! They left no mess or debri in the yard. If you need any construction work done, call Vaz and ask for Elijah. You won't be sorry.

What started off seeming like a good company, ended up not being so good. One guy would be there for three days and then someone new would show up and have no clue what the last guy did. One of the employees painted the bathroom walls without even wiping the walls down after sanding. What a mess and it had to all be redone, which I am sure would not have happened if I did not complain. At one point, I had to tell the project manager that I did not want anyone in my home until I met with him. The lack of craftsmanship, and integrity was upsetting to say the least. Who puts kitchen cabinets in before painting??? Once the job was complete, it took Vaz Construction another month to come back and finish the things that were not completed. Overall the experience was very disappointing, even more-so with the amount of money they charged us for their sub par work.
