I also asked about fixing a tripping spot at between the top step and the first landing. After discussing the project, we decided to redo the entire first landing. The representative from StoneCraft issued me a quote that did not include the post installation. When I questioned him about this, he assured me that he had just forgotten to put that in, and they would certainly do that, and would not charge for that. They did the new landing on July 5, 2020, and said that they had to wait for the cement to set for 5-7 days before they could drill for the posts. It has been over 9 months and dozens of phone calls, and texts with promises of coming "next week" to finish the posts. Now I don't even get an answer to texts or voicemails!! I would STAY AWAY from this company!!!!

Showed up right on time. Their system sent notifications letting me know when they were on their way and estimate arrival time. They surveyed, and immediately quoted the work. They did not try to overall sell me they understood the situation. Fixed some cracking in the mortar on top of the Chimney, as noted by inspector and installed new Chimney cap. I was satisfied with their proposed work and notified them I was ready to begin the project. They told me they would send a contract to sign. Weeks went by and after several phone calls, they just kept stringing me along by saying they would send the contract the next day once they got into the office. I waited about two months for them and still got nothing. Have no choice but to find someone else. Bottom line: If you cannot do the job, tell your customer and do not waste their time.
