We signed a…read morecontract in May 2024 ( then made to sign anther in September 24)they received their first payment in June 2024 then they started lying promising my roof would be done in four weeks that would be in the middle of July 2024 fast-forward to me, complaining and complaining and complaining I got a roof October 2024, then needed it repaired November 2024 due to Shady workmanship They damaged the downspout on my house that was bolted to my house ripped it right off as well as leaving over a pint size container, full of nails all over my yard and driveway which they never came back to clean up like they said they told me in October they would be back in two weeks with the interior guy Then of course something came up. I'm still waiting for the interior guy. Meanwhile, they have sent me invoices and invoices wanting $1200. They have received three payments from me that was from the insurance company. I've emailed them several times telling them. I am not paying until the work gets done. Offered them a deal. I will paint it myself and fix the damage. They snuck on my yard fix the downspout not even well and have yet to be in contact with me to do. The interior today is July 16,2025. Now we have a collection agency going after everybody but me the company has my email and my husband's email. That's the people who live here. That's the people who signed the contract. They contacted my son who doesn't live here and has nothing to do with this. I saved each and every one of the email and text messages for my proof. They also did not send out the required amount of shingles and did not supply the wood needed. Making it a 2 day process.. You can definitely get a roof cheaper somewhere else done in a timely manner and FYI, Cedar Valley doesn't do the work they hire somebody else to do it.I would like to add that I am fully willing to pay my part, once the work has been completed. But to me they broke the contract after waiting a full year for interior work to be done. The work they have not done yet is painting 2 ceilings. Also in my contract they said I can't bad mouth them online. But it's been well over a year and people should be aware.

On the flip side, at one point, the owners/bosses appear. They were typical bosses wearing clean jeans, pointing, and talking. But then they decided to start removing boxes and wiring without asking anyone or considering the consequences, which resulted in the entire house losing Internet access. I work from home and ended up losing 6 hrs pay. They offered to follow the wires from the router to reconnect, but since they didn't know what they were doing initially, this failed miserably. If you hire this company, DO NOT ALLOW THE OWNERS TO TOUCH ANY WIRES!!! They proved their incompetence. Normal folks would simply disconnect the boxes, and reconnect. Beware!!

The morning of the project start you meet the project manager (in my case Jeff R) and discuss anything that concerns you. Crew arrives, dumpster and material get delivered. I came home for lunch and it appeared a bomb went off (in a good way), entire perimeter of the house was covered in tarps and anything fragile was covered to protect, the main house was striped and shingled except for the front portico. My shed was stripped and was going to be complete after lunch. I came home from work and everything was picked up and put back in place. There were a few perennials that were damaged (no problem they will grow back), bear in mind landscaping was covered with a tarp, ladders and bundles of shingles are heavy. The crew uses a large pull behind magnet to pick up nails, all we found was 1 nail = great job. My wife and I could not be happier and can't wait for the rest of the work to be done.
