May 28th the siding was finally repaired, after me texting him repeatedly to see when he was coming and being given excuse after excuse. And the gutter was not repaired. STILL. I told him we should part ways, asked for a $350 refund so I could hire someone else. He cursed at me, told me off and blocked me. Now on 6/14/26 I come home to water all over my kitchen floor from a rain storm we had today- you guessed it- that roof repair was NOT DONE CORRECTLY and I am right back where I started before I met this man, only now I have more water damage and I'm out the money I wasted on hiring him. The person who assessed the roof stated my roof was in good condition, but the garage roof needed to be replaced. I was told that I would have the report in 1-2 hours. One to two hours turned into my being told that the report would be produced in the evening, as the assessor was out on other jobs. He texted me later and stated that he spoke to his boss, and they would not be able to help me because they are too busy with full roofing jobs that they'd be unable to take on any small projects like a garage. He offered me the number of someone else he said was cheaper. When I asked if that person would honor their report, he told me that they would not provide the report because they are declining to do the job. He also never sent the information for the other roofer. I found someone else who was baffled by my experience and provided a report in minutes; also, he said my garage roof had another 5-6 years of life on it. Go figure!
