My husband and I were very hesitant as we knew it was going to be expensive. We decided to get a couple quotes and Chris was the first one to get back to us. We sent him a picture and not only did he give us a very fair quote over the phone but told us he could come the next day! Other tree companies that we reached out to couldn't come to our house until a week later and that was only for a quote. Chris showed up as promised (even though it started to lightly snow) and removed our stump in around 20 minutes. He is professional and his stump grinder is AMAZING (it moves by remote control!). I wish we called him sooner and I would definitely use Chris's Affordable Tree Service again!

We have used his service many times over the years, and most recently we needed his help when a large tree limb came down on our garage during a thunderstorm around dinner time. Al offered to come out that night, but we felt we could wait until morning. Al and his helper Dave came to our house promptly at 8 a.m. the next morning as agreed. They cleared the limb and debris from our yard within an hour. We highly recommend Al's Tree Service, and we're going to call him next week to trim other trees in our yard.

Just great in every way. We have worked with JM Tree on at least three projects. On the first, they…read moretook about five trees off our half acre lot in the city. On the second, they took down some trees that had fallen and taken down a fence. On the third they did major pruning of an old oak. They're great to work with. They give a good estimate, they call in advance, the workers are efficient and friendly. They clean up everything, chipping the branches and hauling away the wood in the case of tree removal Most important, they do a great job. They are trained arborists and understand how to prune trees to keep them growing. You can see that they were looking at how best to prune the old oak. They're as careful as they can be to avoid damaging other plants and property -- sometimes you can see that after cutting a branch off a tree while high up, they try to aim for the ground in a way that doesn't harm any plants. Their equipment and large team allows them to be more efficient than other tree surgeons. For the first project - a major one that involved taking down about five trees -- , we had already gotten two estimates and we almost didn't get a third estimate. Thank goodness we did! JM Tree could do it less expensively and in much less time than the other tree surgeons could do. The other tree surgeons said the job would take weeks. JM Tree did it in a day or perhaps two, putting a huge crane over our yard to reach the backyard and lift the pieces of trees over the house. For the most recent pruning their were two people in the tree and about 4-6 on the ground setting up equipment, refueling the saws, and taking the branches away as they came down Way to go, Joshua and the whole JM Tree team!

Nick was here to discuss what we needed done so he could provide us an accurate estimate. The initial work was a very large amount of hand weeding in two mulched flower beds (front and rear of the house) and a very large area of weeds and unwanted vines in a mulched area around the pool. Then there was weed whacking of very tall, healthy weeds around the house, pool retaining wall and pavilion, as well as around several ornamental trees in the yard. For this initial clean up we received a very reasonable quote and we set a service date. The team of four arrived and worked like a tornado, to make everything look beautiful and proper, even standing up to angry snakes during weed whacking! One team member noticed an area inside the pool fenced area which was getting weedy, and she cleaned that up as well! We were extremely impressed and pleased with the team's results. With the yard looking as it should again, Nick and I discussed future routine maintenance needs. With the vast abilities and skills of the Mr. Grass to Gutters' team, we were able to put together a plan to keep the yard and flower beds healthy, as well as keeping tall weeds from taking over the rim of our pond. Nick provided an a la carte menu of mulching, weeding, weed whacking, mowing three different property sections (my request to separate them). We also set up options for applying fresh mulch in the Spring and trimming ornamental shrubs at the proper time. Unexpectedly, our grass bounced back after the summer drought so we were able to contact Nick for our first routine mowing and weed whacking this year instead of the originally expected Spring of 2026. The team did another fantastic job, and we are looking forward to having Mr. Grass to Gutters provide routine maintenance (and other projects) through out next year and well into the future.
