A long overdue review:…read more I was in a pretty dark place when I called Julie out of desperation. I felt overwhelmed and out of control. From that first conversation, I knew Julie would be the one to bring me back. I cannot thank Julie enough for her flexibility (she saw me the very same day I spoke with her on the phone!) and compassion. Within a few days of following Julie's recommendations, my energy skyrocketed, my moods improved, and even my relationship felt closer with improved communication. Julie is so much more than a nutritionist- she is like a therapist, a friend, a scholar, and nutritionist all bundled in one. Julie is warm, wise, humorous , insightful, and passionate- just the right mix to draw my little timid self out. I left each session with a renewed confidence in myself. She kickstarted a new passion for health and wellness. If you want amazingly positive changes in your life- call Julie right now. Highly recommended!!

I highly recommend her for any difficulty you might be going through in life.

Parisi Nutrition is as good as it gets!…read more After the holidays my husband and I were feeling like we had indulged a bit too much in all the sweets and treats that come with family time. We wanted a way to cleanse and start the new year off right. The Back to Basics detox was exactly that! The price was right, the instructions were clear cut and Drew was extremely personable as well as professional. Her instructional videos were so helpful! She explained not only what the detox was all about, but also why it was important, how to tailor it to our personal needs and even added some "how to" recipes. I felt like I was not just following a recipe that someone had told me to make, but really learning about how my body processes food and how to make better choices in my daily life. Also, my husband ended up losing a few pounds and I got rid of my 2pm cranky/sleepiness. I'm telling you, It really works. And by the way, the food was delicious!!! I've made several of the recipes since the detox ended and integrated a lot of the healthy snacks into our weekly grocery list. If you want to work with someone who truly cares about you, is incredibly smart, and will help you change the way you think about and relate to food- work with Drew!!! p.s. She is now offering these cleanses seasonally which is amazing! Jump on board quick!

After altering my diet and adding some supplements, I feel like a new person. My stomach rarely hurts and I can hike again! Working with Shanti over the past couple of years has been so much more than a journey toward…read morelosing weight. It has genuinely changed the way I understand my body, my relationship with food, and how I approach my overall well-being. I originally came to Shanti because I wanted to lose weight. And while I have lost weight, it hasn't happened as quickly or to the extent I initially hoped. But what I've come to realize is that the real value of working with Shanti isn't just about losing weight. It's about learning how to live well in the body you've been given and helping it function at its best. Shanti doesn't teach quick fixes or one-size-fits-all nutrition plans. She teaches lifelong skills tailored to your body, your tastes, your preferences, and your lifestyle. She helps you understand how your body processes what you consume and how to make choices that actually work for you. The weight loss becomes a natural result of building healthier, more sustainable habits rather than the sole measure of success. What makes Shanti truly special is how holistic her approach is. Yes, she's incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition and the physical side of health, but she also helps you connect the dots between your hormones, cycles, emotions, environment, and consumption. You begin to understand not just what you're eating or drinking, but why, and how all of these things influence one another. That awareness has changed so much for me. It's transformed my relationship with food and alcohol, and even how I think about friendships, boundaries, and the environments I put myself in. You start to recognize what supports the life you want to live and what might be getting in the way. While the coaching may start with nutrition and your body, the experience feels much more like having a life coach. Shanti helps you build a deeper understanding of yourself and gives you the tools to make meaningful, lasting changes. I'm incredibly grateful for what I've learned from her. If you're looking for someone who will help you do more than just reach a number on the scale, I can't recommend Shanti enough. You're investing in skills and self-awareness that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

My wife and I have been working with Jason for years and we truly cannot say enough good things…read moreabout him. He has everything you want in a trainer: professionalism; unparalleled expertise on all things health and wellness related; and a kind, friendly approach that will appeal to anyone. He knows just how hard to push you so you are always advancing, but not so much that you risk injuries, or become too intimidated to continue. He is open-minded, creative, and collaborative. For people who are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, know that he helped train my wife throughout her pregnancy and afterwards. Without a doubt, he is the reason that my wife was able to follow her own birth plan-the doctor was skeptical that she would be able to deliver without a C-section given the size of our baby and because she had spent 2 days in labor before beginning to push. But Jason had helped prepare her-both her core and her stamina-and she was able to deliver our kid safely in under 2 hours. The doctor called her the 'best pusher' she's ever seen-and that is because of Jason. In other words, he is perfect. Jason is also just a funny, smart, and interesting guy to be around-we have enjoyed not just working with him, but becoming his friend. We trust him with our life, and you will, too.

It has completely changed the way I train for the better! Working with Jason has really levelled up my understanding of how to train for functional performance, strength and mobility that will serve me in the long-run - how to move better, breathwork and recovery, integrating mobility, and the mind & body connection. I'm sure anyone who has trained with Jason will know that he is always learning, experimenting, and exploring new methods in his own training, and he will often share new insights and techniques with his clients. He draws a lot from his own practice and reflection, and I think that's why he has a really good grasp of how certain movement patterns work with your body, and where the gaps are. Not to mention I don't know what I would've done without his guidance when I strained my hip through running. He prescribed several drills that not only resolved the pain very quickly, but I've now come out of it with better body mechanics and alignment. I'm really grateful to have found Jason and I would highly recommend him!

I am so grateful for this experience. I am committed to not compromising my quality of life for a job, or others' expectations, despite my previous willingness to do so. I am excited about the next chapter because I now know how I want to live it, thanks to Courtney's coaching. I thought I knew how to live as my authentic self and the benefits of investing in personal growth, but I knew so little compared to what I know now after working with her. I feel aware and open. As Jenn Hatmaker writes in her book, Awake, "Are we really just helpless recipients of stalled, drained, and broken things, or do we have some agency? What if life exists so full we could barely recognize it against our hustle, exhaustion, and emptiness? Have we settled when we don't have to? What if there is a different path, a different pace, a different peace? Apparently, people can choose the life they want." There is a different path. I encourage anyone wanting a better way to live to engage Courtney and her system. The only way to go is forward, and it's worth the trip.

I would beat myself up because I'd constantly ignore the guidance in my head. Jenny has taught me to step back and stop over-complicating things. I know now that I was fooled by a lot of facts (some out-of-date) that circulated in my brain about nutrition. With her guidance I tossed some of my preconceived notions and made room for fresh, simpler nutrition data. Jenny has opened my eyes to a new way of recognizing healthy food choices. I shared with her my interest in resource conservation & sustainability and I've learned more about the connection between good food choices & a healthy planet. That has helped me be more invested in the choices I make about what I put in my mouth! Also, I've been practicing slowing down and being more present while I eat. This is really tough for me, but Jenny's caring & positive approach is guiding me in the right direction. I recommend Jenny to anyone who wants to make better food choices and feel better inside & out.
