I had never been to a nutritionist before but I knew I had to meet you, after reading about you and all your many positive reviews on the web. Thank you for all your help and support in my own life's health journey... as well as helping me deal with the chronic condition I live with. First, thank you for taking the time to get to know me. You have a wonderful way of listening and assessing and getting at the root of issues in a warm and open way. And now I know about you too! You are one intelligent, knowledgeable, nutritionist! But you are more than that! What I learned first from you is nothing is fixed immediately. Although sometimes it is! You helped me see that, and you taught me, by your example, of perseverance, patience and knowledge, - to not give up. And if I was giving up well- you were NOT!. You are resolute in finding solutions if it's a new issue, or even if it's an old issue - and we try again in new ways. This is key for me living healthfully and comfortably with you, Julie Scott, by my side. I always feel you are ready to listen, figure things out together, ready to share your thoughts, and ready to search for more information to help me. My most recent appointment was a check in and a review of my protocols for every day living vs flare ups, vs tweaks of additional things to add and delete in my overall health plan. Thank you! We all have different health challenges we live with and we go to our doctors, dentists, etc.,...but you, Julie, you are the professional person in my life that helps me put it all together. I'm lucky I found you! Thank you!

He has everything you want in a trainer: professionalism; unparalleled expertise on all things health and wellness related; and a kind, friendly approach that will appeal to anyone. He knows just how hard to push you so you are always advancing, but not so much that you risk injuries, or become too intimidated to continue. He is open-minded, creative, and collaborative. For people who are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, know that he helped train my wife throughout her pregnancy and afterwards. Without a doubt, he is the reason that my wife was able to follow her own birth plan-the doctor was skeptical that she would be able to deliver without a C-section given the size of our baby and because she had spent 2 days in labor before beginning to push. But Jason had helped prepare her-both her core and her stamina-and she was able to deliver our kid safely in under 2 hours. The doctor called her the 'best pusher' she's ever seen-and that is because of Jason. In other words, he is perfect. Jason is also just a funny, smart, and interesting guy to be around-we have enjoyed not just working with him, but becoming his friend. We trust him with our life, and you will, too.

It has completely changed the way I train for the better! Working with Jason has really levelled up my understanding of how to train for functional performance, strength and mobility that will serve me in the long-run - how to move better, breathwork and recovery, integrating mobility, and the mind & body connection. I'm sure anyone who has trained with Jason will know that he is always learning, experimenting, and exploring new methods in his own training, and he will often share new insights and techniques with his clients. He draws a lot from his own practice and reflection, and I think that's why he has a really good grasp of how certain movement patterns work with your body, and where the gaps are. Not to mention I don't know what I would've done without his guidance when I strained my hip through running. He prescribed several drills that not only resolved the pain very quickly, but I've now come out of it with better body mechanics and alignment. I'm really grateful to have found Jason and I would highly recommend him!

Both times, I hesitated because of the cost -- I told myself I was already paying for insurance, so why pay out of pocket for something extra? That decision cost me more than money. I've been dealing with serious health issues since 2018, and I didn't see real progress in my treatment until I finally integrated Shanti into my care team. After a few years working with her, I'm in the best health I can remember in years -- and honestly, the turnaround still shocks me. Shanti has been the cornerstone connecting the dots across a complicated health picture: major weight and puffiness fluctuations, food reactions and allergies, MCAS/histamine issues, mold, migraines, headaches, and joint pain -- all while juggling multiple doctors and endless investigative work. She's been there on the days I could barely move or eat, in real pain and down, and she's helped me build a fuller care team rather than trying to be everything herself. She got me OFF the endless cycle of adding supplements and protocols, and taught me to simplify and actually listen to my body. She's patient, she remembers every detail of my history so I never feel like a number, and she adapts to what's realistic for me rather than forcing one rigid method or diet. We've also gone deeper than the physical -- into the inner work of trauma, stress, and old patterns -- and worked through how my health connects to my marriage, family, work, and travel. I'm so grateful for my work with Shanti. It has been life changing. I wouldn't be able to propel into my next steps in life without the rigor and resilience of our time together.

Her deep, science-based understanding of physiology, especially when it comes to female and athletic bodies, is truly unmatched. She meets you exactly where you are, tuning in to your personal needs while offering practical, meaningful guidance that leads to real change. What sets Shanti apart is her whole-body, natural approach. She's not someone who pushes a Western medicine fix for everything--she's incredibly attuned to the body's natural rhythms and honors the simplicity and wisdom of how we're built. She challenges me in the best ways, always pushing me toward actual growth while being emotionally supportive and truly caring along the way. And honestly--her approach works. I've been dealing with insulin resistance and hormonal shifts, and in just two months I've experienced a major, positive transformation in how I feel and how my body functions. I first worked with Shanti before my wedding and reached my goals, and came back to her when I decided to come off birth control. The results have been even more powerful the second time around. If you're ready to take real action and make sustainable, lifelong changes for your health, I can't recommend Shanti enough. She's the real deal

I lost 55 lbs over the course of a year with support from JumpstartMD and a GLP-1. The body…read morecomposition analysis was a game changer--it showed exactly how much of my weight was actual fat, which kept me focused on the right goals. I also appreciated having medical supervision while taking the medication. Today, I'm 10 lbs lighter than I was during a phase when I was working out five days a week. The difference is how sustainable this feels. A couple of pro tips from my experience: 1. Reuse what worked for you in the past. If you've ever successfully lost weight with a particular diet plan, bring it back. The GLP-1 takes the "white knuckling" out of dieting and makes it much easier to eat the way you were supposed to anyway -lean protein, vegetables, simple meals. 2. Slow and steady truly works. Be happy with one pound a week--or even maintaining during harder weeks. My entire 55-lb loss happened over 52 weeks. Consistency beats intensity. 3. Side effects were minor. I had a few small headaches and one or two nights of poor sleep after the weekly injection. Occasionally unhealthy food made me feel off, but that was rare and honestly a helpful deterrent. With healthy eating (which the medication makes far easier), it wasn't a problem. I meal-planned for about 10 months, and now I just naturally eat that way. Being at a normal, healthy weight again is worth every minor bump along the way. I have also encouraged 4 of my friends to do this as well and they are all having similar success. If it doesn't work for you, simply stop taking it but definitely try it with the support from the team at JumpstartMD Mt. View!

I had worked with Sabrina in the past and after years of struggling and as I have gotten older, I knew I had to reach out to her. I have always been active and I workout every day so that was not an issue for me. But I was still slowly and steadily gaining weight. I have tried every meal plan and/or diet you can think of spending hundreds of dollars a week on food and hours in the kitchen meal prepping, and nothing worked long term. I reached out to Sabrina in September and started working with her a week or so after my initial call. She made a few tweaks to my diet and my exercise routine, and the weight began to come off. We worked together until the middle of January. During our time working together I lost 20lbs. OVER. THE. HOLIDAYS. I am a social person, and food is always a part of that, so the holidays are especially challenging. If I can lose 20lbs over the holidays, anyone can. Since finishing my last session with Sabrina I have continued to lose weight. It doesn't come off as fast because I am not super focused on it, but that is what I love. It has felt easy to just keep doing what I am doing. The changes she made to my diet fit easily into my lifestyle. I finally feel like I am not on a diet, I have just changed the way I eat, and I am spending less money on food and spending less time on meal prepping than I was before working with her. I don't get on the scale a lot these days as I am more focused on feeling good than what the scale says, but every time I do, I am down a few more pounds.

When the doctors couldn't figure out what was…read moregoing on with my body & made me even sicker with rounds and rounds of medications, I was ready to give up. But luckily, I then found Chen. She took one look at me and knew it was food related and said she would help me figure it out. And that she did! I started working with Chen about 4 years ago. She is one of the few people I trust with advising me on how to care for my body and my autoimmune disease. I've even seen doctors in centers that purely focus on my autoimmune disease and they weren't able to answer all the questions that Chen has for me. Chen has supported me through every single step of the way on my health journey: - Finding my diagnosis (testing & interpretation), - Developing a nutrition & supplement plan, - Periodic consultations to adjust my plan while my body went through various cycles till it stabilized, - Educating me along the way how to listen to and understand the signs my body was giving me (knowledge/skills I will carry the rest of my life) - Tips on different foods/recipes to try and tips for food prep - As well as supporting through the emotional aspects of the journey (i can't tell you how many times i cried and she always listened, encouraged me to really let it out and supported me) Additionally, I've use her supplements, protein powders and protein bars for the last 4 years. I can't recommend them enough, especially for those with very sensitive bodies like me. She sources and produces her products specifically to be allergen free. The new addition to her line, the protein bars, are SO tasty that I almost don't want to tell you that. Most recently I've tried the energy reading/work with her. This for me is something I was excited to try as Chen and I had been trying to find the last little bit to get me to 100%. The results of the readings are always very spot on and a great data point to help show some other factors going on (food, environment, and emotional). I have to admit this was a very new experience for me and I wasn't sure what to expect, but seeing the reading and results has been mind-blowing. And on top of all this Chen herself is an ABSOLUTE JOY. She instantly makes you feel safe and supported the moment you see or talk to her. She will push you and call you out if needed. And she will also celebrate your wins and learnings with you along the way. I can't thank Chen enough. I didn't think it was possible to not only get my healthy body back but to be stronger than I ever was. I'm so happy to be alive today thanks to her and to get to go after my dreams knowing I have her support.

Also, and very cool - while he has the magical chops and toolbox of Gandalf, he's also a personal trainer with mad ninja skills and has been ON American Ninja - you should see him parkour! Check out his YouTube channel for that. ;-) I came to Angelo because I had a broken and battered body that had suffered years of abuse after I conquered paraplegia to walk again. I tried and tried to lose the weight I'd gained from years in bed, and finally started being successful, but my ankles or broken back or hips would strain, sprain and keep me in continual pain the more I tried to get fitter. And the pain kept me from ever getting very far. Ten or so physical therapists later and no better off, I found Angelo and stopped looking. Everyone else here is right - only Angleo can fix my hurting...whatever and he beats the massage table off of any chiropracter, physical therapist or massage therapist I've ever had. And in twenty-five years of a broken back, that's plenty. Lately it's been a strained rotator cuff in my left shoulder and he's fixed it like magic.
