Dr Tako was very nice and listened to me about my concerns. The front desk staff were friendly. The first appointment I had we didn't really do much only assessed my situation. Be aware that no insurance is used and it is all out of pocket costs and you may feel you didn't really pay for anything but I will update my review as I go to my 2nd appointment. The 5 star reviews are what prompted me to make my second appointment. I wanted to post this review because looking everywhere for pricing you cannot find it anywhere. I did not know how much it was until I checked out. So I have attached a current pricing list. If your looking for a basic/typical chiropractor that you just go in and you tell them where it hurts and they adjust you and they do ultrasound therapy/electrostim etc.. then this is not the place. I have been going to Dr Tako for 4 years now (and I have been through many chiropractors in different places). He helped me during my 2nd pregnant, after one visit I walked without pain! I highly recommend Dr Meir Tako if you are looking for a chiropractor. I had seen around 3 chiropractors in my life prior to seeing him. I was seeing very low results with each of them. The results that I did have would often not hold. Not only this, but they seemed to all have the same philosophy that on-going adjustments would be a necessary part of my life once I did get in alignment. Dr Tako's philosophy seems to be that it shouldn't take forever to see results and the results should hold. After only seeing him for around 3 months, he was able to help me to a point where I was pretty much complete. I went in around 3 months later and all my adjustments had held. It has now been around 4 months since that check-up and I feel great. He was able to get my spine in better alignment so that my asthma was greatly reduced. A long overdue review... I can't say enough good things about Dr Tako. I was nervous when my previous chiropractor left the practice to Dr Tako in 2012. But it didn't take long to appreciate his techniques and nutrition services. I've had chronic lower back pain, that is rarely an issue now. When I started having issues again, we tied it back to eating oats (yes, food was causing my back pain). He's helped me thru parasites (likely obtained from food during traveling) and other bacterial infections during cold/flu season with the supplements he sells in his office. I can not begin to explain the tremendous gratitude I have for Dr. Tako. After 5 years of experiencing involuntary shaking of my head Dr. Tako has literally changed my life. I had previously tried chiropractic care, ART, Graston technique, Massage, Cranial Sacral work, acupuncture and many other therapies. I saw neurologists, had CT scans and MRI's. Dr Tako is amazing! He listens and wants you to tell him to every issue you have so he can figure out what the cause of the pain may be. He takes a holistic approach to the pain. I've seen many chiropractors over the years and he is someone special. He doesn't just work on adjusting the spine. He works on soft tissue and fascia realignment when necessary. The neurological p-dtr work he does, I call magic. I don't understand it, but the results can't be denied. I spent 12 weeks in physical therapy to treat knee problems. Dear Dr. Tako and whoever is reading this review. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my mom get back on track with her health. Few weeks ago, when she arrive in the USA , I saw her coming down from the gate area and I was in shock to see her. She was barely walking, in great pain from head to toe. Let me begin with how serious my problem is. I fell like a pretzel 15 years ago when roller blading in high speed. I didn't bother to see any doctor back then because I was young and thought I was invincible. Well, by the time I realized it was not healing itself, all the muscle and joints had grown the wrong way and I lived in pain ever since. There are times I can't sleep because every posture I sleep, the pain keeps me awake. Since then, I have seen over 20 different doctors and not much helped. Dr. Tako was referred to me by a very trusted physician/friend. In complete honesty, the first a few sessions I thought he was some con artist because the way he treated me was so different than any chiropractor. I had a lot of doubts... If weren't because I believed in that friend I'd give up on him. Turned out, it's because he has so much more knowledge than the traditional chiropractor so he treats me with a combination of many techniques. Dr. Tako is an angel. He is both a chiropractor and nutritionist, and I am seeing him for both.
